Absolutely loved the place. So much beauty nearby. Wonderful hiking. Everything in the kitchen that I needed. I used the bbq as my oven (I like to cook). I loved making nespresso with the reusable pods they have but you can always bring your own. From 37 to 7 degrees meant I was able to use both heating and cooling and the fireplace. It was perfect. The spa bath just perfect after a days hiking. Good coffee at LiveFast. Halls Gap remains beautiful and is absolutely worth visiting! Oh and the kangaroos, birdlife, etc…just perfect. Thank you to the hosts for all the local suggestions.

Had a most wonderful stay here - the pictures don't do it justice! The space is absolutely amazing with huge windows looking out into gorgeous bush and the rock formations in the distance. It was peaceful, full of wildlife and an incredibly lovely space to spend a weekend, we definitely wanted to stay longer! Kitchen was well equipped, and had a spacious fridge for lots of people's groceries. We made use of the outdoor dining area which was divine to spend mornings and afternoons, and the living room, though looking small, easily accommodated 5 adults for movie nights 😊 Jane was responsive and graciously allowed us a later check-out, and was there for any questions we had. The only thing that could have slightly been improved was the cleanliness, the bed quilts a bit dirty and the house a bit dusty, but nothing that got in the way of our stay overall.

We enjoyed a beautiful mini vacation at Louise and David’s property. A stunning location with ample amenities. They were extremely communicative, and ensured to provide great suggestions for local eateries- as well as going above and beyond to offer flexible check in and check out options. As my partner is an avid climber, we look forward to visiting again in future!

We had an amazing stay at Tim's house! It’s perfectly nestled in a quiet, traffic-free area of Halls Gap, yet just a short walk from the main hiking trails. The BBQ and jacuzzi were fantastic—just what we needed to relax after long hikes! Tim is a wonderful host—responsive and thoughtful. The house has such a warm and personal touch that staying there felt like a little journey into Tim’s life.

Stayed four days in Ironbark. Beautiful, luxurious couples retreat. Lots of privacy. Surrounded by nature. Spectacular views of the eastern side of the Grampians. Walking distance to the Halls Gaps shops and restuarants (about 500m). Kitchen had a two burner cooktop, convention microwave oven, full size fridge and basic cooking utensils. No coffee machine. Large comfortable couch. Large TV. AC. Beautiful, modern bathroom. Comfortable, king size bed with high quality linen, blankets etc. Washer and dryer plus cloths line outside. Plenty of parking. Well maintained and very comfortable. Would highly recommend for a romantic get away.

Avue was great. It had a beautiful, roomy open plan kitchen, living & dining area and very well-appointed kitchen. The bedrooms were clean & beds were comfortable. Bathrooms also spotless & spacious. The deck area is gorgeous - we had lots of beautiful wildlife visit while we were enjoying playing cards on the outdoor dining setting. The area was really serene & the views gorgeous. It was directly across the road from the hotel and an easy 2 min drive into town. We'd def stay again, it was perfect for our girls trip.

We felt home the moment we arrived. The cottage has everything we needed, what an amazing place to stay, so peaceful, quiet and beautiful 😍 I can highly recommend this place to everyone who wants to be in nature, but have the luxury of a fully equipped house.
