Québec : séjours à la ferme

On a eu un beau séjour d'une semaine et il aurait fallu encore quelques jours.

Large cabin with plenty of bedrooms to accommodate our family's needs. Good location with nearby river access and within easy driving distance to much of what Cape Breton has to offer.

The retreat is a lovely tranquil spot in the Ottawa Valley. It is spacious and comfortable, with lots of big windows looking out on the surrounding countryside. The only close neighbours are the deer and the wild turkeys. Carol is a friendly and charming host and she responds right away to any requests. Highly recommended! I plan to return, any time that urban life gets to be too much!

Amazing host, really good place

Une deuxième expérience pour nous a l’Accolade et ce fut encore une fois une merveilleuse expérience! La place est propre et on s’y sent bien. Kevin est très accueillant et il a le bonheur de ses hôtes à cœur! Nous n’avons manqué de rien! Très bon rapport qualité prix avec un service impeccable. Nous y retournerons certainement pour notre prochaine visite au cape breton. Cheticamp est un beau village avec toutes les commodités à proximité. La gypsum mine trail est définitivement à faire (a 1 min de la grange). Merci encore Kevin!!

Nous avons adoré ce logement. Il était encore plus beau que sur les photos, vraiment coquet. Très propre. La vue donne sur un champs et nous avons eu la chance de voir un chevreuil et plusieurs oiseaux de proies c'était génial. Nous avons annulé quelques activités pour pouvoir passer plus de temps au logement pour en profiter. 2 jours n'est pas suffisant. Un coup de coeur dans notre voyage. Nous le recommandons fortement.

Nous avons beaucoup aimé notre week-end dans ce logement. Très propre et instructions claires pour y entrer. Cuisine très complète comprenant un plat à fondue et raclette. Nous avons aimé la proximité avec le Mont Owl’s Head.

I absolutely loved my stay! The house was just as beautiful as described and even more spacious than I expected. It was tastefully decorated and felt incredibly comforting. Ricky recommended a fantastic nearby restaurant, which we thoroughly enjoyed. When we returned, I was pleasantly surprised to find the fireplace all set up with paper and kindling .. all I had to do was strike a match! I'm not sure if this is a standard service, but I was impressed by the thoughtfulness and effort. Will be booking again! You will not regret your stay!

It is an incredibly beautiful place where I was allowed to be. Christiana has furnished the Moose River Cottage and brought it to life with her creativity, understanding of great details and a lot of heart. The expansive view from several sides of the house over the green areas into the woods lets you arrive in the here and now. It is not uncommon to spot one or two animals from the window. If you're looking for more hustle and bustle, Halifax is just three quarters of an hour away by car. The warmth, the great communication and her cheerful and open nature make Christiane the perfect hostess. If you want to get in tune with your inner compass, turn your back on stressful everyday life and have an open heart for the beauty of nature, then the Moose River Cottage is just right for you. I am very grateful for the wonderful and relaxing time and will be back very soon.

Had a wonderful time with my family for the weekend. We were very pleased with how clean and like the description. There were one or two things that needed to improve. We couldn’t get the Jets on the hot tub to work. It wasn’t easy to get the cover off. We couldn’t get the light on the porch to go on. All in all, it is a very beautiful cottage. It was very convenient to get to and we had a great time. I would totally recommend this place.

Very good place to stay at, good place, good location

Great location for skiing at Marble (and I’m sure lots of other seasonal activities) just a 2 min drive without highway to the hill. Beautiful and peaceful view of the Humber right outside the main area windows and deck. Easy access, lots of communication. Cozy, clean and lots of cute cabin touches. Enjoyed a game a crib or two from the games. Also a great setup for flaking out and watching a movie. Great appliances too! We would totally stay here again!

Le logement correspondait parfaitement à la description, et notre séjour s'est déroulé à merveille. L'endroit était propre et bien équipé. Nous serions ravis de revenir !
