This stay was absolutely incredible for a romantic getaway. My partner and I spent 4 nights here in February. The location is very private, with stunning views and lots of nature sounds. The amenities were fantastic- everything we could have needed was there. A large fridge and lots of cooking utensils/cookware were present for our use. We made use of the hot tub every night- the host provides a how-to guide for it as well. The woodstove is a lovely addition on cooler nights, as well as for ambiance. My only critique would be once it gets dark out, the lighting inside is quite minimal. We were working on a puzzle and found it hard to see once it got darker outside. All in all, a fantastic location (we stayed here surrounding our visit to the Nordik spa) and really responsive and helpful hosts. Thanks again!!

Really cute and cozy cottage, all the basic amenities you could think of are there. Special mention to the spa, who makes this location feel like the end of the world (which is only 1h away from Montreal). Really recommend for a small group of friends!!

I had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin! The location was great. It was surrounded by nature, offering a peaceful escape from the hustle and bustle. The cabin itself was clean, well-maintained, and thoughtfully equipped with everything I needed. The host was friendly and responsive, making the entire experience seamless. Highly recommend for anyone looking to relax and recharge!

Un chalet absolument magnifique, offrant une intimité totale et une atmosphère à la fois cozy et rustique. L’emplacement est idéal pour se détendre en pleine nature, que ce soit pour profiter du calme, admirer le paysage ou simplement se ressourcer. Le spa en pleine nature ajoute une touche de détente incroyable, parfait après une journée en plein air. Le superbe foyer intérieur crée une ambiance chaleureuse, idéal pour des soirées cocooning au coin du feu. C’est sans aucun doute l’une de mes vacances préférées ! De plus, l’endroit est parfait pour un séjour avec un chien, avec beaucoup d’espace pour qu’il puisse se dégourdir. Je recommande vivement ! Je veux déjà y retourner !

We had the most peaceful winter getaway at the cabin! The cabin was the perfect place to get out of the city and enjoy the natural surroundings, the quiet, and the snow. We loved having a cozy fire in the woodstove or a hottub soak after a snowy hike or snowshoe at Gatineau Park. What a beautiful place. Thank you Kim and Scott!!

We had such a wonderful stay! Every bit of our experience was nothing but the best. We booked this place looking for a relaxing recharge and that was exactly what we got. We felt right at home from the moment we arrived. The hot tub and sauna were so relaxing and the perfect combo and every detail was perfect for the space: we took a nice walk through the trail, and it was beautiful. Thank you for the stay! We much appreciate it.

We really enjoyed our stay. We contemplated several similar places in look and feel in and around Tremblant and landed on this one because of the view. The photos don’t do it justice. It was so wonderful to feel like you were truly in the mountains and just provided that extra something special to our getaway. We were four people and a dog and fit the space perfectly. Communication was top notch, anytime I had a question Walter got back to me right away. The dog treats and smores kit were a wonderful touch. The rolling tv was such an awesome add on, we were able to have movie nights but then wheel the tv away to not take away from the view. Check in and check out were simple and not overly complicated like many other places. Location was amazing, the kitchen has everything you need to make wonderful meals in. The place is very clean, beds are super comfortable as are the pillows. Would recommend!

Nous avons passé un des séjours des plus agréables à Norris Point! Jean s'est montré très accueillante et nous a salué autant à notre arrivée que notre départ. Elle nous a offert des muffins aux bleuets qui étaient délicieux. Nous avons pu bénéficier de toutes les commodités nécessaires dans notre logement. De manière générale, nous avons adoré le village de Norris Point et de l'hospitalité de ses habitants. Nous le recommandons.

From the moment I turn on the road to the cottage I felt the stress of the day fall off my shoulders. Then walking in the cottage, it is so pleasant and sweetly decorated, not to mention spotless! Then you see the view!!! All I can say about the view is WOW! You can see the red cliffs, the bridge and a lighthouse all from one location! Nicki checked in on us and made sure everything was ok and she has the personality that you immediately feel like you are long lost friends! PERFECTION is how I would describe our stay!

We had a great stay at Stella’s place! Everything was as described. Comfortable bed. Kitchen had everything we needed. Great location close to Bala and Gravenhurst. Any questions we had were answered promptly. Would stay here again!

Been there twice passing through Nova Scotia, amazing both times. Worth going back to.

We spend my husband's birthday at Katherine & William’s cabin. The space is super cute and cozy, we felt at home! The surroundings are beautiful and calm, perfect for a weekend getaway. We also took advantage of Katherine’s tips and spent some time at trails and local restaurants, and it was amazing! I highly recommend and it was one of my best Airbnb experiences!

Nous avons bien aimé notre séjour au chalet. Les espaces de vie sont grands, le terrain est boisé, belles activités aux alentours. Tout s’est très bien passé !

Had an absolutely lovely stay at the cabin! Great location and very private. Perfect for our annual Autumn visit to the area to go to Algonquin Park, Huntsville and Screaming Heads. The cabin was well stocked, clean and very cozy... we truly had everything we needed. We were even greeted with a little basket of treats which was so sweet! Our kitty loved staying there as well. Leah's instructions were quite clear and she was very responsive to any questions we had. Our weekend was truly awesome, we would definitely love to come back!!!

The place is so peaceful and beautiful, that takes your breath away! The house is extremely beautiful and comfortable, everything you need is in. We had a great weekend and even extended it by one more night! We definitely will be back!

As a retired home renovator, I was extremely impressed by the innovative personal design of almost every part of the shanty being handmade. The last 2 1/2 years that I’ve been living in the Canadian maritime (NB) away from southern Ontario, seeing the outside the box innovation for ecological use of construction materials (and reuse) to make wonderfully appointed buildings projects. East coast decor styling makes for a calming, rustic and charming pleasant stay in this shanty cabin. Kim made me feel welcome as soon as I pulled up in my vehicle. The cabin is extremely clean, simply laid out, airy and comfortable. The fresh ocean breeze mixed with the pleasant cedar wood sent of cabins main construction material only adds to the relaxing atmosphere. I would highly recommend a stay here, I’m sure the next time I visit PEI I’ll be booking here again. Thank you so much Kim for allowing me this last minute booking, otherwise I would have missed out on this wonderful experience at your place.

Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux chez Suzanne et Ian. Nous avons adoré passer la nuit dans la cabane, visiter la ferme et rencontrer leurs animaux. Leur respect pour les animaux et l'environnement est évident dans chaque aspect de l'endroit, qui est accueillant, chaleureux et authentique. C'est une expérience inoubliable que nous recommandons vivement. Un grand merci à Ian et Suzanne pour leur accueil !

Really nice place and very friendly host. It’s a beautiful spot for friends, couples or family with kids. A nice escape from the city for a weekend.

Our 2 night stay at Cedar cabin was wonderful. Its such a beautiful, peaceful location. The winding lake road as you drive in really feels like you are disconnecting from everything. Having access to paddle boards, canoes, kayaks and a row boat, makes it so easy to enjoy the gorgeous lake. Our cabin was on the water, we had a lovely view and a constant gentle breeze coming in off the lake. Definitely will be back!

We visited in mid-October, and the foliage was amazing. The lake is indeed pristine. Very comfortable cabin; one 29 degree F night challenged the woodstove in the main room, but the bedroom was super cozy. Very near Algonquin PP so there is lots to do. Joanne and Lars were very responsive to questions.

We’ve been to our fair share of B&B’s, but I must say, this one took the cake. From the wood stove hot tub, to the pond with paddle boards & lawn games, they even had a floating ice cream dock! Skye and her husband were so lovely & welcoming. We can’t wait to make this an annual stay🤗. I recommend this to everyone and anyone! Thanks for having us, we’ll be back again!
