Great place to stay with 4 adults and 2 kiddos. The location was fantastic, with an easy bus ride to town. The house has a great view of the mountains and lake. We couldn’t stop exclaiming! And the house had everything we needed, with cooking supplies, coffee, and a good room layout for the families. Carl was so responsive and helpful. We will definitely stay again!

Beautiful house and amazing views. Recommend going with car, as it is uphill might not be for everyone. But the house itself its perfect. Totally recommend

A great place to gather for a family reunion. The house had everything we needed and the facilities are perfect for a large group. Decor a wee bit tired but all very clean and comfortable. The views are incredible!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would love to return

Sarah and Jon’s place was absolutely fabulous! If anything, it was better than described. The home is secluded yet a short drive to Queenstown. The standout feature is the unobstructed view of the lake through floor to ceiling glass doors that can open to bring in nature. The outdoor yard is HUGE! It looks to be nearly an acre. My 10 year old daughter enjoyed the trampoline and playground in the yard. Even the chickens have their own forest to reside in. We had fresh eggs for breakfast and picked fresh strawberries from the yard. The house is very modern and clean and Sarah and Jon were very thoughtful and provided some essentials in the fridge/cupboard for breakfast upon arrival. Within a short walk, there is a large playground complete with free zip line for kids that my 3 children loved. You can even view it from your living room. Wonderful hikes are a short walk or drive away. I would not hesitate to ever stay here again. Our family of 5 had a wonderful stay.

Fantastic location for walking to local shops and restaurants, also for walking along the river. Spacious house, large garden, felt like home in the best way.

Great place for families. Super clean and easy to navigate. Loved the two bathrooms and the washing machine in the garage. Cosy living room. Spa in the backyard was beautiful. Not exactly a short walk into town however, we did not try it due to rain and kids. Wanaka is great for biking and coffee!

Beautiful home in a beautiful location! We have 3 kids and this was the perfect house for them! They had so much fun playing in the pool and in the playground. The house was beautifully remodeled and in a great location with beautiful mountain views. The host was very flexible and responsive, which we truly appreciated. Arrowtown is an adorable, charming little town just outside of Queenstown and I would highly recommend both the area and the house!!!

Great home to stay in, very warm with the fireplaces going. Nice and spacious, very relaxing. very little outside noise. Unfortunately we were only there at night as due to event we were attending, but loved the place ! would definitely stay again, and recommend !

Great stay for two people in beautiful Wanaka!

Awesome place that literally has everything. Highlights were the sauna, hot spa, pool table and fireplace after snowboarding each day. Super close to The Remarkables and Coronet plus we drove an hour up to Corona and drive was easy. Highly recommended!

Such a beautiful property, our family loved their stay! It’s in a great part of Arrowtown which is lovely and quiet, and family friendly. Felicity was very helpful with any questions. We particularly loved meeting the 5 year old superhost who was very welcoming to our 3 year old! We will be back 😊

Lovely private rural location 5 minutes from Wanaka central. This is a beautiful area, well worth exploring, both summer and winter. Whare iti (the Tiny House) was well equipped and very comfortable. The hosts go out of their way to ensure everything is good for their guests. They are very hospitable and welcoming and have lots of good tips on places of interest and things to do. I enjoyed my visit very much. Look forward to visiting again. Thanks Sally!

Natasha war sehr nett über Text. Die Unterkunft war sehr schön und hell. Auf Nachfrage konnte ich sogar früher einchecken. Die Lage war toll! Nur 10 Minuten mit dem Auto vom Zentrum. Natasha hat sogar ein Heft zusammengestellt mit Sachen, die man in der Nähe machen kann und wo man essen kann. Ich kann die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen!

We throughly enjoyed our stay at Alfy's Secret Lair. It was located in a peaceful location outside of the main town and near the beautiful Sunshine Bay. Olga (and lovely Alfy!) were super friendly and Olga gave us plenty of local recommendations and tips. The room had everything we needed and the bed was really comfy after a busy day exploring. Really appreciated the little extra touches like homemade granola, milk, toiletries etc, thank you :)

Stayed 2 nights. View from the apartment was phenomenal. Walkable to downtown Queenstown, but takes 30 min. Overall great stay and great location.

Was a great stay was able to get me in on super short notice and I couldn’t have been more happy being there! Has a great trail near the house too to check out

Great location in Cardrona for those skiing. Just down the road a bit from the Cardrona Inn and General Store. Super well-appointed and roomy kitchen - it was so nice to have good appliances when cooking meals. Laundry room in the back of the garage was a bonus - easy laundry situation and storage for skis.
