Beautiful home and attentive host! Sam is very thoughtful and thorough. We appreciated the attention to detail and information on the house and area. Sam is easy to communicate with. We found the location great for activities in the Iron River area. The house is well appointed and comfortable. Perfect for our group of six. We loved the view from the kitchen and enjoyed the cozy TV room. Really liked the bed and bath arrangement. One consideration: our winter gear filled the small entry way as there is no real place for coats or ski gear. That said, we would definitely consider staying again! The lake during the summer would be wonderful!

Me and my family enjoyed our time here. There were tons of stuff to do especially for the kids. Jason was super proactive which made communicating with him easy. This place definitely instilled beautiful memories with my family. Definitely worth checking out!

Absolutely loved this trip. A wonderful welcome basket with wine and snacks was waiting for us upon arrival. We made full use of the fireplace to stay nice and warm during the cold, snowy weekend. Being right along the river was amazing and made for a beautiful view. We utilized the snow shoes to walk along the frozen river and creek which was extremely fun. This was the best cabin we’ve stayed in and we will be sure to recommend to anyone looking for a great place to spend the weekend.

We had a great time staying overnight at the UP Sunrise Cottages. The host, Angie, was incredibly friendly, helpful, and responsive, even when we had late-night, last-minute questions about checking in. The house was on a beautiful lakeside group of properties, and it was fully stocked with amenities, clear instructions, and super clean, comfy spaces.

amazing cute cabin on a beautiful lake. We visited in the fall for colors but I would definitely come back summer or fall! The sandy bottom lake looked inviting and screened room was a perfect space to relax, they thought of everything that you would need to enjoy the space. I've made this place one of my favorites and hope to get a chance to stay again, not one bit disappointed and I have absolutely no complaints! everything i would want and expect in a cottage getaway :) thank you for sharing your space.

We have stayed here several times and we love it more with each visit. Mike and Amy have invested in their property and there are new updates with each year. There is newer furniture than what is pictured. The lake is so nice for swimming!!! And having access to all the kayaks, paddle boat, etc makes the stay so much more fun and relaxing. Sitting on the deck listening to the loons and star gazing is the perfect end to the day!

The place was just right for our girls getaway. It had a great location right on the lake. Since it was late fall it was very quiet. Would love to come back when it is warm to enjoy the water. The place itself was wonderful, the picturea didn't deceive.

This is a great peaceful and very private place to stay. We feel very welcome and right at home staying here. The owners have been great and the cabin is so very well stocked with everything you could want or need.

Great place! We had a blast ice fishing, hot tubbing & relaxing in the sauna. We caught mostly pike, some bass & crappie. Would stay here again!
