Angel’s place is great if you want somewhere close to beaches without the fuss or price of an all inclusive. I stayed there with several friends and it was great to have a kitchen and living areas where we could all hangout instead of separate hotel rooms. We could comfortably walk to several beaches or catch the bus just outside the neighborhood. We felt very safe the whole time as well. The only potential drawback is none of the appliances are fancy or state of the art but that’s not what we were looking for. Angel made our stay very comfortable and provided many resources from booking tours to finding reliable transportation. He was very kind and always responded quickly. He went above and beyond to help us out and made us feel very welcome in Cancun.

Stefania's place is as seen in the pictures, and things work as expected: the AC in the bedroom works well; kitchen is fully stocked; Internet is fast; a jug of drinking water was provided. The outdoor patio is really nice, especially in the morning as the sun is coming up, and in the evening when the temperature cools off. The location is close to restaurants and the Ultramar ferry terminal for a trip to Isla Mujeres. The bedroom has air conditioning, but the main unit does not. It wasn't an issue for us, as a nice ocean breeze came in through the windows and back-door when we were there. It really helped to keep the front-door open. The room was warm but not hot. As others have noted, there can be loud noise from car speakers and loud motorcycles later in the evening.

We loved the layout, the condo is very private. We enjoyed the fresh air when we opened up all the windows and sliding doors, the breeze coming through screens. We spent a lot of time reading/napping on the roof top terrace, lovely breeze. We so enjoyed the pool, almost every day we spent time there. Everyone is so friendly. I was very pleased with this condo and hope to return soon!

This Airbnb is in a great location. Grocery stores are a block away, as well as a fruit stand and several restaurants. The apartment was nice and clean, the air conditioning worked great and the pool was refreshing. As others have noted there is a bar near by that plays loud music…but you can just dance along or wear ear plugs. Our stay was wonderful.

So happy we booked this unit. Very spacious , clean and amazing view from the bedroom and living room window. We left wishing we had stayed longer. The amenities ( kitchen/ in unit washer and dryer/ safe/ tv/ full size dining table/ balcony ) made it very convenient! The gym is right below and although small we were up early and able to enjoy. The air conditioning worked extremely well and having blackout curtain made it easy to sleep at night. Overall we were extremely impressed with how clean the building/grounds and pool were. Stunning beach that was very well cared for daily and lots of huts available and fresh beach towels every day. Good security on the property . Overall we were very impressed. If you get the chance to stay in the La Veleta neighborhood- take it! This listing is so close to many neighborhood restaurants and it’s not touristy… just walk out the door to the resort and you’re there! The pool is quiet, private and relaxing. It’s a clothing optional resort but we only saw nudity at the pool which didn’t bother us at all. Everyone was polite and respectful. Would definitely visit again!

Unit is ok, old stuff inside, kitchen ustensil were rusted a little bit, BUT the spot is soo awesome that everything else is non-relevant. I do not think you can get something that near the water with such a long private beach for that price anywere in the world. So yes I would recommend.

Un lugar para descansar y estar en tranquilidad, ten en cuenta que te hacen hincapié en guardar cuidado con el ruido después denlas 10 y no es un lugar para fumadores esto lo lees en varias partes de la casa. En general era lo que buscaba, muy limpio, céntrico, buenos servicios y muy tranquilo

Everything as expected. Clean. There's street parking (free) right in front of the apartment. Check in was easy, Josue was waiting for me when I arrived.

The location is great. Next to El Fogon for amazing tacos. Walmart is 1 block away. Very close to the ADO Alternative bus station. Everything is extremely walkable. Excellent and relaxing rooftop pool. Apartment was very inviting and everything worked well.

I had an excellent stay -thanks Valentina! All the amenities were as advertised. I would happily return. A tip if you are a light sleeper, pack good ear plugs- the local dogs can get a bit noisy in the morning! The people and shopkeepers in the neighbourhood are very polite and friendly. Your “ por favor” and “ gracias” always are appreciated. I would advise unless you rent a car or like to walk 15-20 minutes to centro,a heads up the sidewalks can be uneven and if you’re not careful can be tricky to navigate- get the whattsapp number for local taxi or moto taxi (tuk tuk - scooter taxi) driver for trips to the supermarket or restaurants in the centro. I highly recommend Guido’s for excellent upscale Italian food and Casa Mission for traditional Mexican food in an old colonial home surrounded by beautiful gardens. Many excellent neighbourhood restaurants. Sundays are best for exploring the Centro as there are no cruise ships .It’s a stunningly beautiful island with many unique areas .

Très bon emplacement , parking gratuit c’est vrai que c’est un peu vieillot mais l’emplacement , et la vue vous feront vite oublier ce détail !

Babel is a peaceful oasis in the developing La Veleta neighborhood of Tulum, tucked away from the hustle and bustle of the touristy hotel zone and busy downtown. The grounds are beautifully maintained, and the unit itself if just like the photos. The architecture, as well as the curation of furniture and decorative objects, was absolutely stunning — and the all-natural linens was personally one of my favorite elements. Both women who headed up the concierge desk were so kind, responsive, and helpful for anything you may need. I personally loved how the location was not in the middle of everything — there was so much serenity and peace. Just make sure you have some form of transportation. I rented an e-bike, and it was really easy (and fun) to get to la playa, Parque del Jaguar, and the cenotes. I would 1000% recommend Babel, and I’d certainly stay here again the next time I’m in Tulum!

Xibalba hotel was truly amazing! Really good value for money. Looks just as on pictures, beautiful design, everything new and modern, very large room with balcony & jacuzzi; large kitchen with everything needed ( toaster, pots, pan, cutlery and blender for fresh smoothies), beautiful large and clean bathroom; gym and joga room. Really enjoyed my stay and would recommend to anyone who is looking for a comfortable place to stay in Tulum.

The location is awesome! There are plenty of great bars, restaurants, and even taco trucks nearby. It’s a safe and quiet area, just a couple of blocks from the main street.
