Es war sehr ruhig und interessant. Hector war ein super Gastgeber und hat alles dafür getan, dass wir uns wohlfühlen. Wir wurden sehr herzlich empfangen, haben Empfehlungen für unsere weitere Reise bekommen und einige Informationen über Yucatan. Man muss wissen dass man in einem Wald übernachtet und es kann natürlich sein, dass man auf das ein oder andere kleine Tierchen trifft, allerdings ist dies kein Problem.

Una experiencia increíble en un paraíso tropical! 🌴✨ Nuestra estancia en esta cabaña fue todo lo que esperábamos y más. Viajamos en grupo y la cabaña resultó ser el espacio perfecto para nosotros. Las 4 habitaciones privadas, cada una con su baño privado, fueron un verdadero lujo. Nos permitió tener nuestra propia intimidad mientras compartíamos momentos increíbles juntos. Las habitaciones son cómodas, frescas (gracias al aire acondicionado) y muy acogedoras, ideales para descansar después de un día de actividades. El salón es otro punto destacado. Con un amplio comedor y una sala muy cómoda, se convirtió en nuestro lugar favorito para reunirnos, reír, jugar juegos de mesa y planear nuestras aventuras. El aire acondicionado hizo que el ambiente fuera perfecto, ¡Nos sentimos como en casa! El jardín lleno de plantas tropicales nos encantó a todos. Además, nos sentimos seguros y cómodos en todo momento. Definitivamente, este lugar es perfecto para grupos. La atención de Magda 10/10!!

Dès notre arrivée sur le magnifique terrain de la cabanas de Maria, nous étions détendus, partout des arbres et fleurs exotiques, pas besoin de musique, le chant des oiseaux, très relaxant. La cabanas était équipée toutes les commodités nécessaires, nous avons passés un séjour confortable. À l’extérieur une jolie terrasse couverte avec du mobilier ainsi qu’un grill au charbon. Maria nous a très bien accueilli à notre arrivée et était disponible pour nous aider si nous avions besoin. Manuel le gardien des lieux est un homme vraiment très gentil, discret mais toujours à l’écoute. Une jolie piscine est accessible sur la propriété. La magnifique plage de Chen Rio est à 5 minutes de voiture, elle est parfaite pour une famille avec des enfants. Nous ne voulions plus partir et espérons pouvoir y séjourner à nouveau.

Ricky was such a helpful and kind host! We felt right at home and loved being in such a peaceful and beautiful location outside of the main city. The staff even accommodated our early schedule for breakfast and the food was so delicious. Highly recommend this stay if you can rent a scooter/buggy to get around!

El lugar es muy bonito y tranquilo, la zona está muy apartada de puerto morelos y algo complicado de llegar. Aunque tuvimos que cancelar la reserva por un problema de mantenimiento en el lugar, el anfitrión entendió la situación sin problema.

Très bel endroit pour rester quelques jours à Holbox! Petite chambre avec les équipements nécessaires pour préparer des collations pour la journée. La piscine était très propre et bien entretenue. Le logement était très confortable, mais à noter qu'il n'est pas du tout isolé. Nous entendions beaucoup la circulation et même les passants discuter dans la rue. Parfait pour quelques jours, mais moins idéal si vous prévoyez rester 1 semaine ou plus. Le logement est très bien situé, à quelques minutes à pied du centre. Les rues étaient inondées lors de notre visite et il était plus difficile de se rendre rapidement au centre (il fallait faire quelques détours). À prendre en considération si vous visitez à des moments plus pluvieux. En somme, ce fut fort agréable!

If you want to find the place for ultimate relaxion outside city polution and away from disturbing world with the perfect view of the blue lagoon just to yourselves - this is exactly the place. The host is very engaged in making your experience remarkable. The cabin is simple but it has all you need in the world without electricity - Gerardo has thought about everything and is open to any suggestions. We didn't want to leave the place even for an hour for shopping or restaurants - it was so relaxing to hang in a hammocks all day with some brakes for swimming and walking in the lagoon and seating late in the nights outside with sangria, staring at the stars. There was very few mosquitos during our stay and Gerardo provided us with repellent and mosquito nets.

The location is outstanding. Private and breathtaking views. Your steps away from the ocean and awake to the sound of waves and birds. A rooster does make a bit too much noise at all hours. You can hear the outdoors very well and is overall gratifying. The place could use a few small things to help the older people like us get up the stairs at both entries, a railing to make the first high step and keep your footing as both stairs are crooked and not spaced evenly. The step out of the bathrooms is also an ankle twister in the night. We had a very restfull stay and i would love to return again. The area is worth doing some exploring as it has special things you may not get to see again. We done a 3 hour boat tour and saw dolphins and several birds on one island. It was very windy when we were there so the water on the ocean side was stirred and cloudy but we also had no issues with bugs because of wind. We greatly enjoyed the dock on the eco side of the property.

Nelson was a wonderful host! He helped us with what ever we needed. He gave us a tour around his beautiful property in the jungle. Nelson and his wife are amazing people! So sweet and generous. The cabin is rustic and not sealed so go there with expectation to find critters in the cabin. The bed has a big mosquito net though. We enjoyed the rustic aspect because it allowed us to really enjoy the jungle and be close to nature. It is close to a noisy highway but the sounds of the jungle help to mask the noise. I would highly recommend this place to stay. It is located next to really awesome uncrowded pyramids. This was our favorite place to stay on our trip. It was a very calm and peaceful retreat.

The location is beautiful and so hard to beat. The staff are fantastic, they went above and beyond with recommendations and tips to maximize our time in Tulum.

Jose’s place is quiet and peaceful. Joe is very friendly and even invited us to see a Regatta the day we check in. The place is a cabin/cottage with basic amenities. You need to buy what you need in town to take with you because the nearest mini mart is almost downtown (4.5 km) unless you have a car. There are sandy beach on the north of the island like Playa Azul and others that can be access through a restaurant as long as you buy a drink or food. It’s useful to rent a car, buggy or jeep to drive around the island than taking a taxi. HTL rental on 5 Avenida Nte and 2 Calle Nte. Is good and reasonable.

Couldn’t say enough good things about Silvestre, and his accommodation. If you are looking for a relaxing getaway in the Mayan jungle… peaceful, close to nature, and private- this is a lovely spot. Cenotes close-by. Swimming pool. Beautiful cabin. Great place to read and nap outside. Silvestre was incredible! Extremely responsive, and helped however he could. I did not have a car (definitely a helpful asset), and he gave recommendations for rides, rental cars, things to do that provided transportation… he even offered to bring me anything I was missing as he was on his way to the cabins and I had no car… I needed butter, and he brought me some! His recommendations for the tours with Rolando were amazing. We did horseback riding to the cenotes (3 km away) and it was perfect to do with my 8 year old child. All in all, great place. Great host. Great things to do. And even good accessibility even without a car (tho I do recommend it). Thank you, Silvestre and team!

Lugar muy bueno por el precio. las indicaciones de llegada y salida muy claras. Esta situado a las.afueras de Bacalar, por lo que es indispensable pagar taxi o rentar auto para poder moverte desde y hacia el hotel.

Cristina's palapa was super cute, close to the restaurants and beach, everything was clean and organized. Getting there was smoothly and we had everything we needed. It's a bit loud at nighttime with the karaoke close by and we happened to be there during construction across the street. But if that construction wasn't happening it would have been perfect. Thank you so much Cristina for providing such an affordable and welcoming place for us to stay. Would stay there again.

We loved the maya house. It was cozy and comfortable - nothing fancy but incredibly cute. Maria was a Great Host and helped us with everything. A tiny info for people with a light sleep: there are dogs, chicken, turkeys and humans in the neighborhood that are not always quiet. But hey, that’s Mexico 💚

El alojamiento tiene todo lo necesario para pasarla bien. La velocidad del internet es buena para tener videollamadas y trabajar sin problemas. Todas las instalaciones implecables

Der Aufenthalt bei Candy war richtig toll. Das preis leistungs Verhältnis ist super. Wir haben für den Preis nicht viel erwartet und wurden positiv überrascht. Man hört Vogel Gezwitscher und andere Tiere nachts was eine angenehme Atmosphäre erschafft. Vorort hatten wir alles was wir brauchten. Sauberes Trinkwasser und Dusch Utensilien wurden von Candy bereit gestellt. Sie hat uns herzlich empfangen. Der Wasserdruck der Dusche war jedoch nicht so stark, was uns aber nicht so gestört hatte. Insgesamt ist das eines der besten Unterkünfte die man auf der insel bekommen kann. :)

Beautiful location and property. The direct access to the lake was amazing. My family and I loved the views and we made priceless memories here. We would definitely come back! This is a cohabited place, keep that in mind, luckily everyone was peaceful and friendly. Just be respectful. The stairs to the lake are definitely worth the cardio. The gate is very heavy but once it gets rolling you will have no problem. Parking is available but limited on the property. Street parking was safe. We highly appreciated the lockbox check in, not many host understand the holy grail that comes with flexibility on check in! Thank you for sharing this beautiful piece of heaven on earth.

Nous avons séjourné 4 nuits, il n'y a rien a dire c'est juste un petit paradis! Tout était vraiment parfait, l'accueil, les conseils, la réactivité ainsi que tout ce qui étaient décris dans les photos. Je conseil à tout le monde sans hésitation, je ne regrette absolument pas d'avoir choisi cet endroit !

Me encantó, está muy cómoda. Iba con mi familia y a todos nos gusto mucho. Hay muchas cosas con que entretenerte mientras estas en la cabaña. Te despiertas con el canto de los pájaros. El baño nos gusto mucho.
