Perfect location for our Rovaniemi adventure. We loved being slightly out of the town so we could just walk down to the river to see the sunset and the NORTHERN LIGHTS! I would recommend renting a car if you stay here though you probably could figure out the buses. It's just a little ways out so a bit far to walk. The sauna was great. Tidy, clean and felt like a home. Kitchen was well-equipped. Would happily stay here again!

Nora's place is truly exceptional! The villa is beautifully maintained and fully equipped with everything you need to settle in comfortably. Located just 15–20 minutes from the city, it offers the perfect balance of convenience and peaceful seclusion. The area is also one of the best spots to catch the Northern Lights, we were lucky to see them on all four nights of our stay! We were a group of 12, including 4 kids, and the space was perfect for us. The kids had a blast playing in the backyard and exploring the nearby woods. Honestly, the villa itself was the highlight of our trip. Nora is an outstanding host - warm, responsive, and welcoming. She made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. If you're considering a stay in Rovaniemi , Villa Pahta is an absolute gem. Highly recommended for its charm, comfort, and unforgettable location!

Perfekter Aufenthalt in der Hütte von Seija. Wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt - Seija war persönlich anwesend um uns zu begrüssen und uns mit der Hütte vertraut zu machen. Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht ist hier genau richtig - ohne eigenes Auto wird es schwierig. Wir haben die frisch renovierte Sauna, Schneeschuhwanderungen, den gemütlichen Ofen und die tolle Aussicht auf den See sehr genossen. Wir werden mit Sicherheit wiederkommen :)

Die Unterkunft war wirklich sehr schön und bietet im Winter ein einzigartiges Ambiente direkt am zugefrorenen Fluss :)

Wir waren zwei Wochen im Haus von Sonja und Börje, die beiden wohnen im Nebenhaus und waren immer erreichbar und außergewöhnlich hilfsbereit. Sie haben uns sogar ihr Auto geliehen, als wir Probleme mit unserem Wagen hatten. Sie hatten tolle Tipps für uns und wann immer ansprechbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Das alte Haus ist super gemütlich, in der Wohnküche kann man es auch bei schlechtem Wetter wunderbar aushalten. Das Spielzimmer für Kleinkinder ist Gold wert! Die Ruhe und die von Eis bedeckte Ostsee vor der Haustür, das Nordlicht bei klarem Himmel, die selbst gebackenen Zimtschnecken, die Sonja vorbeigebracht hat, die Ausrüstung, die wir leihen dürften, all das hat dazu beigetragen, dass wir einen sehr erholsamen Urlaub verleben konnten. Es war auch perfekt und völlig unproblematisch mit unseren Hunden. Vielen herzlichen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

A beautiful cottage in a wonderful location. It was so secluded that the Northern Lights were clearly visible every night. We were welcomed by David's mother who was a wonderful and very welcoming woman. She clearly explained everything we needed to know for a relaxing and comfortable stay. We will hopefully be back again.

This place was heaven! It had all the facilities and things we hoped for a relaxing holiday. Sauna, jacuzzi. View of the lake, peace and tranquility. The first two days of our trip we were really stressed as the airport had lost our luggage but i have to say coming back to this place, really made us forget about all our problems.

Ce séjour en àFinlande pour les fêtes de Noel restera gravé dans la mémoire de notre petite famille et surtout grâce au magnifique cottage familial de Tiina. Quoi de mieux que de se sentir comme á la maison... Ce fut le cas dans cette maison. Tout y est pour passer un très bon moment. L'hôte est très disponible et réactive. L'arrivée flexible avec la charmante maman de Tiina qui nous attend chaleureusement. Dès les premiéres minutes jusqu'au départ on se sent bien. Les lits sont confortables, tout l'équipement nécessaire est lá et même plus. On se sent vraiment comme chez soi. Le must....le sauna traditionnel (et comme la neige est arrivée en même temps que nous0 avec le traditionnel plongeon dans la neige qui suit. Que de belles choses á dire. La tranquilité en étant un peu á l'écart de la ville mais au lilieu de merveilleux paysages boisés et enneigés. Allez-y en confiance vous ne regretterez pas cette approche authentique de la Finlande.... Merci encore à Tiina et sa maman.
