This house was amazing. It was very clean and we all felt right at home as soon as we walked in. It's well-furnished and the layout allows for both group settings as well as privacy. The views from the back of the house overlook the lake and provide for incredible and peaceful views. Be sure to open the curtains at night for the master bedroom so you can view the water and the stars on a clear night before waking up to the beautiful sights of the lake in the morning. The driveway allowed for three vehicles to easily park without having to move cars around when someone needed to leave. There was still easily room for more vehicles if necessary though that would require planning for coming and going. One guest that came with me spent a day working on the screened-in part of the upstairs back porch and raved about it being the best place to work between the comfort and the relaxing views. I would definitely stay here again! Great host and great house!

Great place. Easy access for what we needed. Annette was incredibly responsive so it made it easy to get questions answered. She even brought us cookies. If we ever return to the area, we would stay here again!

We visited Phillip’s lake house for a long weekend to celebrate our daughter’s upcoming 17th birthday, along with a few of her friends and our family. Within 20 minutes of being there, our daughter asked us if we could rent again this summer! The house is beautifully appointed (the girls loved the leopard stair runners!), and the home was absolutely pristine. The owners have left no stone unturned when it comes to detail, instruction and comfort, and there was plenty to entertain our crew inside and out! The surroundings are somewhat ethereal, not to mention peaceful, even with 6 teen girls, a ten year old boy, and our pup! We all loved that he got to join us, and being the water dog he is, he was in heaven! Our favorites were exploring the lake in the canoe and other water toys, so generously provided, and star gazing on the dock! We can’t wait to visit again! This home may have become our new Highlands tradition!

Sunsets and Siestas was fantastic! Alan and Sylvia were responsive and friendly leading up to and during our stay. The home was very well equipped with furnishings, bedding, etc. The kitchen was a huge success. We were amazed at how many amenities were in the kitchen. We cooked everyday and the kitchen was well appointed with dual ovens and many other great features and appliances. The new Weber grill outside was also a great added feature! Our entire family of 16 had plenty of space to enjoy the house, pool, boat dock, and outdoor fireplace/hot tub area! I highly recommend Sunsets and Siestas! Lake Keowee and the entire area is full of outdoor adventures and fun for all ages.

This is our second time staying here for new years and it was great as usual. It is very peaceful at this property. Very clean and perfect for our group size. We would stay again.

Really enjoyed the house! Plenty of space for all guests. Back deck space was an awesome hangout spot and the kids loved the kayaking.

We spent our wedding weekend in this beautiful airbnb. Not only was it the perfect space with an amazing view, but Melinda went above and beyond for us! We were greeted with goodies to congratulate us on our upcoming nuptials, she checked in on us after a storm passed through, and was so responsive to each message. The kids loved the games and s’more’s she provided and my husband and I enjoyed relaxing in the hammock swings. We cannot wait to visit again when the weather warms up to fully enjoy the lake! We could not recommend this place or this host more!

We really enjoyed our stay. From kayaking to sipping coffee on the back porch, it was great. The beds were so comfy, and the kitchen was stocked with all the needs to make it easy to enjoy a cooked meal. We will return!

We had a wonderful stay at Mary’s place. It is well equipped, peaceful, and truly feels like home. Mary was very accommodating. Should we ever find ourselves in the area again, we have certainly found a place we’d return to.

Really enjoyed our night here. Appreciated the clear instructions and everything is labeled well. The house and area is beautiful, sad it was too rainy to take advantage of the canoes. Would definitely stay here again.

I stumbled onto this place while looking for a quick overnight spot for my road trip. So peaceful, so beautiful it was hard to leave the next morning. Amazing views, comfy bed and linens. The bathrobes were an added bonus for the hot tub and bath. The kitchen is fully stocked with anything you can think of. Jessica was a great host and responded right away. Don’t pass this spot up if you’re staying for a night or a weekend! Already looking forward to the next time I get to stop in here.

The Lake house was one of the quietest and most peaceful air b-and-b's we have stayed at. The new back deck is the highlight of the lake cabin. The rest of the cabin is fully equipped and functional, but we hardly left the back deck. With its fenced in area and gate was perfect for the dog. The kayaks and dock are a nice addition. It is located close to good dining at Micas restaurant and Whiteside brewery. We came for the hiking in Panthertown area. We will be back again.

Beautiful stay! The road up to the cabin is a little steep and most activities are a bit of a drive away - but it’s a very cozy place with gorgeous views and lots of amenities to keep you occupied. Couldn’t have asked for a better value

We absolutely loved staying at this precious place. The lake was a huge plus. The kids loved the kayak and the swing off the porch. It was central to everything. We will hopefully be back!!

We stayed at Lizard Lodge last year at the same time. We loved it so much we booked again and this year was just as fabulous. We enjoyed the hot tub, playing games around the kitchen table, and just visiting. The house was perfect for our needs. Thanks for sharing your house with us.

My husband and I had an amazing time at the whitewater cabin! It was the perfect space for a weekend escape. We wish we could have stayed an entire month if our jobs allowed. We highly suggest staying, you will not be disappointed. Tom and Kylie were wonderful super hosts and we will definitely be back!

We had a wonderful time here. The house is actually a lot nicer than the pictures. We almost went with another house that had a hot tub but happy we chose this one instead because it was closer to the wedding venue. The host was super friendly and very responsive. There is a comment about the house needing a deep clean… this is not the case now. The house is very clean and nice. Honestly… probably one of the nicest Airbnb's I have stayed at. Plenty of room for everyone. My kids loved the air hockey table. There is one bedroom and bathroom upstairs which is great if you are traveling with someone handicap. My husband has just had surgery so he couldn’t carry anything but it was very easy for me to get everything inside by myself. There are two houses right next door but currently it looks like they are being remodeled so we were alone on the street which was great. I would recommend staying here! My only recommendation is a hot tub would make this even better but it’s great as is!

Cute one bedroom cottage with nice views of the lake. We really enjoyed having access to the two kayaks that came with the rental. Little kitchen & living space were perfect for the two of us - liked the convenience of being able to cook meals there. Overall really enjoyed our stay & the proximity of the cottage to all the great outdoor hiking & sightseeing was amazing!

We had an amazing stay at Corey’s cabin! Corey was very polite and welcoming, making sure we had everything we needed. The cabin itself was peaceful and perfectly situated right in front of the lake, offering stunning sunrises and sunsets. We also appreciated that he had everything you could possibly need to enjoy the place, including kayaks and a canoe with all the necessary safety equipment for a tranquil ride on the lake. It was the ideal spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy nature. The surrounding areas were fantastic for walking, with plenty of breathtaking scenery, all without needing to drive for more than 30 minutes. We left feeling refreshed and would absolutely recommend this getaway to anyone looking for a serene escape. Can’t wait to return! 🌿🏞️
