We were delighted to have such a peaceful and private place to rest. Kirill had everything you needed to feel at home. We definately will come again.

We loved our stay at Frenchman's Folly. The cottage is homely, comfortable and very well equipped. It is fully fenced and is very well located at Point Lookout: close to beaches, shops, cafes and the pub. Lots of wallabies and birds to observe and wonderful walks to be had. There's a decent bus service, so with or without a car is fine. Linda is a great host too!

Absolutely amazing to be right on the water, watching the tide come in & go out, seeing boats & yachts passing by. Peaceful, bushy surrounds blissfully listening to bird life. Clean & comfortable furnishings, & has everything needed (& more) in the kitchen & other living areas both inside & out. Peter & Raisa were communicative, helpful, responsive & lovely hosts. It was great to get out & explore the island with lots of hidden gems, fishing spots, & friendly locals. Catching mud crabs was a bonus with the supplied crab pots. Yum! Great house & location, would definitely stay again & recommend to others.

Beautiful location stunning charming property and Jane was so friendly when I reached out with a question about the property that was entirely due to my own stupidity. She could not have been more patient or responsive. It’s so charming and the view and location is unbeatable. Thanks Jane.

Very well appointed, comfortable and spacious cottage right by the sea with city views - Vandy has thought of a lot of little touches that make this place a treat to stay in. We’ll be staying here again for sure!

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stuart's Eclectic home. When we arrived we were greeted by a kangaroo in the back yard and had multiple bouncy visitors throughout our stay, as well as some beautiful kookaburras and curlews. It's so close to all the beaches and shops and walking trails, we walked or rode our bikes predominantly. Had a heatwave while we were there so the house was warm in the upstairs living areas in the afternoon as others have mentioned. A great comfortable beach shack and a lovely way to experience the beauty of what Stradbroke Island has on offer.

Over the years we've stayed at many Airbnb's and hotels we stayed here last yeah and really enjoyed the quietness privacy Kelly and Jake are very attentive so we enjoy coming back here

Had a lovely stay at Pepper. Was surprised how quiet the neighbourhood was. Bed was very comfortable, great shower, everything clean and back deck was so enjoyable with a pleasant breeze to keep us cool. The welcome snacks and drinks were a nice surprise. We were a bit worried there were no screens but we were able to leave a bedroom window open at night without any insect issues. Thanks Cassie for a lovely stay.

Good location and close to the city and airport. Patrick’s description of the place is accurate and we had undercover parking which was great for the rain we encountered. We would stay again. Thanks!

If you are looking for a place to stay in Brisbane, you would struggle to find a something better than Russell’s place. It was clean, comfortable and had everything you would need for a short or long stay. The pool was also a nice bonus. Russell and Lisa were great hosts, very responsive and helpful.

Loved our stay at Cindy’s place. From meeting her Mum who took us on the check in tour to the lovely property itself, we were all very comfortable and definitely would like to come back to stay. Location was very convenient as we were attending a concert at the entertainment centre. Thanks Cindy and Toni for a great stay - highly recommend. Very obliging owner.

We really enjoyed staying at the apartment. Plenty of room for the whole family. Will definitely book again.

Had a wonderful stay, great area, Rene was available for all questions, quick response to calls. He was a lovely host and supplied some food essentials to make you feel at home. He walked us through and showed us what was where, and helped set the TV for us useless tech ladies! Thanks Rene. We even had a visit from a cute fur baby, fluffy cat.

Beautiful view of the ocean and beach. We were two couples and there was plenty of room. Quite pricey, but an enjoyable stay and the pool was great for a cooling off dip. Very clean and modern. Lovely cool wind off the ocean at night. The bedrooms are upstairs, so don’t book if stairs are an issue.

It is a perfect place to stay in Brisbane close to everything ! The apartment is amazing and the view is fantastic. We were stuck in it during Cyclone Alfred and lucky for us we were in that apartment !

Over the years my family has stayed a many houses across the globe and we can say without a doubt this is one of our absolute favorites. This is our second stay and I can not say enough good things about the house, it’s amazing location and views as well as the amazing hosts. My family absolutely loves this property.

Pheobe is a wonderful host. We unfortunately had a cyclone during our stay but Pheobe made sure we were safe and comfortable and supplied things we may need in a blackout. The beds were comfortable and it was an enjoyable stay despite the weather. Thanks Rayna

On arrival Di met us showing us through our accommodation and giving us some helpful tips about the island and fishing spots. Our studio was very homely, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We had complete privacy and would definitely recommend this little hidden gem to anyone visiting the island.

Our stay (2 weeks) at Michael's place was just great. Michael was quite responsive to any of our needs. The location was great. If you have kids, they will love the swimming area in the park across the street. Very easy to get to the train station for trips into Brisbane or to other locations. Also easy access to restaurants and other shopping. We saw another guest complained about traffic noise. This was not our experience. While there is some typical noise from the fairly busy road, we heard no evidence of racing engines or any non-typical traffic. At night, there were not issues at all. The unit is accurately represented in the photos.
