Amazing waterfront property, great fishing, turtle & bird watching. The hosts Doug & Marcie welcomed us, gave us helpful tips and recommendations. The home is very well stocked & like the pictures. Cute decorating with lots of helpful things to make your trip easy. Kitchen is well supplied & organized. If you want a relaxing peaceful old Florida trip this is the place.

Otter Springs is truly one of a kind! The house is immaculate and has many essentials to help make your stay even better. Everything is clean and the hosts were so friendly and helpful. The outside is incredibly beautiful, private and spacious. The dock has newly updated stairs leading to the river making it easy to get in and out of kayaks & paddle boards. Nature is of abundance here as you can see several species of birds hunting for fish. We saw deer in the neighborhood. One of our highlights of the trip was being able to paddle with a family of otters for days as they played. It was magical! The kids loved having their own space in the separate house. We all spent all day on the water exploring upstream the cypress forests. It’s so peaceful to allow the river to float you back down stream to the house. You don’t even have to paddle! The water is crystal clear and refreshing. This house is a hidden gem and we absolutely cannot wait to book again!

Quiet location, pool was fantastic, amenities are great, linens are nice, modern furniture and art, very tidy and clean, responsive host, this is a nice place to stay.

The house was great and spacious. Perfect for our Rainbow Springs getaway. The only thing that was a bit deceiving was the fact that the river access was a 15-20 minute walk from the house itself. The pictures made it look like the river access was in the backyard, which is what I was expecting. Other than that it was a perfect location to visit Rainbow Springs State Park. And then the next day, we drove about an hour to Silver Springs State Park, which was absolutely beautiful and worth the drive. FYI - Rainbow Springs you can swim, but Silver Spring you can't. The house was very clean and peaceful. A great place to book if you want to get out of the hustle and bustle of the city!

Stay was amazing! Large space and amenities to accommodate everyone. Very thankful! Even was able to do yoga in the backyard with my group!

The house was quite spacious and comfortable. Christina was proactive in reaching out, offered the check in code early and was flexible on check out. The house had rustic charm and was on a quiet street, the dock and canal were right around the bend to the river, which was awesome. Wonderful host, beautiful home and a great experience.

Amazing place! It was a perfect location and having the river right out back was a dream. Kayaks were huge plus! Roy had everything we needed for an amazing stay and made it so easy!!

Caryn was an awsome host! She sent several emailed reminders leading up to the trip, she was very responsive and super helpful with our stay. We let her know our intentions of airboating and we inquired about the parking for 2 trucks and trailers, not only did she assure us there was room for both, but also highlighted on a map where the nearest boat ramp was to our stay. We were able to get much earlier check in than the initial 10:00am. All around a really great host!

Family of 5 (3 kids) and two dogs from VA. Felt the house was perfect with a great yard and cool trees. The dogs didn’t need leashed and could be at ease with pool access being safe. (My dogs can’t swim) The sheets were real cotton (this means a lot) and the beds were very comfortable. Plenty of bedding and pillow options. Kitchen had the basics to cook meals which was easier. The house had everything we needed to have a great vacation other than food to eat. Close to everything we wanted to do. A great trail that was not a commercialized walk where we saw armadillos, manatees, an alligator, bald eagles, snakes and we could hear two owls talking. It was perfection. The swing out back was a nice peaceful touch and I really appreciated the grill. We saw crystal clear water at three sisters while kayaking as well as dolphins at sunset. We took a boat cruise to an island and found more shells I’ve seen in my life. I’d come back again and again. No hoopla where tons of people were.

Cheryl was very nice, responsive, and her thorough instructions were very helpful. Most important to me, the house was very clean, the kitchen was well stocked with cooking utencils, and the bedding was very nice. We all had a lovely time fishing on the dock, kayking, and boating down the river. We explored Homosassa Springs, Rainbow Springs and several other Florida attractions. The whole family had a lot of fun!

What a wonderful cottage! Christine was a great host--from the moment we booked until after we left. We would have loved to have stayed longer than our whirlwind three days. The view of the water is spectacular--we could see boats moving fast through the water and birds gliding along the shore--all from our perch inside the house. The back deck provides wonderful private water views and enough sunlight to soak up your daily amount of Vitamin D. The inside of the cottage must have been designed by a professional! Seriously. The two bedrooms with ensuite baths are perfect--a queen in one, and a king in the other which can be made easily into two separated twins. (There is even a cot hidden beneath the bed for a third guest.) The open living room, dining area, kitchen (well equipped) has everything you need--including many comfortable places to sit, a large screen tv. In addition, there is a large "sunroom" with comfortable seating and even a chest of games. This place has everything!

Lovely, quiet stay right on the water. Cozy and comfortable for two people. We really enjoyed the peacefulness of the water and the opportunity to paddle around by ourselves.

My boyfriend and I stayed for the weekend for his birthday. It was exactly what we were looking for. Out in the woods, secluded from the everyday hustle and bustle and quiet and literally right on the river. Early morning coffee was a treat with the birds and let’s not forget the alligators! Definitely will come again and again.

We had a relaxing month at William's home. It is comfortable and cozy with everything we needed. We loved the lakeside view and getting out in the canoe. Plenty of comfortable seating for inside the house and on the outside patio. The beds were very comfortable. The yard is big and in a quiet neighborhood. Met friendly neighbors. Saw a lot of wildlife-birds, some gators, fish. Sunsets over the lake were beautiful. Had fun discovering shopping in nearby Dunnellon. William was a great host-easy to reach and always kind and helpful. We plan to reserve again!

Enjoyed the stay, the wildlife, and seeing the sandhill cranes every morning and evening was a plus.

Absolutely loved our stay at Laurie's. It felt safe and was beautifully secluded yet easy to find. Close to endless outdoor activities. This place had everything you might need and more. It was well stocked with all the little things you don't think of. Will definately recomend to others and return myself.

We had a great time and particularly enjoyed the free kayaks. All in all great accomodation and we could have easily imagined to stay a whole week.

We had a wonderful time at Casey’s place and were sorry to leave. The house and grounds are simply wonderful and the peace and quiet of the early mornings and evenings in particular was magical. So many birds to listen to and watch, and the little alligator and deer in the forest opposite. We took out the Jon boat and enjoyed the quiet river and explored the surrounding nature areas and forests on walks. The house has everything you need and there are so many places to sit and rest outside. We hope to be back some time.

We love staying at Richard's and Leslie's! Location is perfect; easy access to the community park and river with the included golf cart, kayaks, paddle boards and more. Lovely evenings by the fire pit in the yard, and kitchen has all the necessities. Perfect getaway weekend!

Cozy place. Would definitely rent again.

The little tin roof cabin was EXACTLY what we wanted. The decor, amenities, space, surroundings perfect. Perfect for a bestie sleepover! Chose to have a staycation vs lots of adventure, but if more time, a lot of exploring to be had. Definitely a re-do in the future!

Leslie was very responsive. The setting is private and the covered deck on rainy days wonderful to relax on. Leslie provided much appreciated extras like healthier cooking pans, sharp knives, a cutting board, and a medicine kit which are not usually provided in my years of experience. A word of caution apparently regarding airbnb policy. Check for potential price changes on your reservation Even IF you are subtracting something!!! Because I didn’t end up taking my dog with (deleting the pet fee), it changed my reservation and a $142.20 increase (county tax fee) was added! 😱
