Tara is very sweet, her place was cozy and very neat! she's very close to anything that you would need in walking distance. I will be recommending to others if they need some place nice and quiet. loved it!! ps the bed is amazing!!

Super beautiful home and seemed to be brand new. Great location by giants ride. Had all accommodations needed (a meal we were cooking needed a Dutch oven so we brought one ourselves and sure enough they even had one there). Only thing to note is that noise travels well throughout the home so if some people want to go to bed early you almost have to send the rest of people to the garage to not be able to hear convos. Such a small thing though and overall 10/10 place.

What a picturesque serene setting right on the water. Easy access to Voyageurs, Ranier and International Falls. Layout of the house was great (split bedrooms) for privacy. Beds were very comfortable. The entire house was spotless. Mark was super responsive in answering questions. We would definitely stay again! Thank you for sharing your home with us.

How fun! This basement apartment was spacious with several sleeping quarters, full kitchen, and full bathroom. The beds were comfortable and the space gets very dark for good sleeping, and we enjoyed the common space living room/kitchen. The decor was really creative. It is a basement and we stayed on the 4th of July, so we did not experience the quiet hours, but the whole fun little town was alive and having fun that night, so no concerns. If quiet is a must, basement apartments are not the way to go and we know and are ok with that, but if you’re not, this is something to avoid. The kitchen is stocked, but only for a couple people, so bringing paper products is helpful. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay!

We had a great week-long winter outing. The unit is right across from the ski resort, but quiet and peaceful with views overlooking the frozen lake. We were able to take long (snowshoe) walks with our dog on the Mesabi trail, plus the apartment was well equipped with everything we needed to make meals.

The place was lovely! You can see the lake out of the back door. Couldn’t be closer to the beach. The front bedroom was also lovely. Thanks for hosting us!

The place was perfect. It had everything we needed and then some. Also, it is incredibly close to one of the alpine ski lofts for Giants Ridge (literally right across the street). We will definitely stay again!

Nice place, Michael was great in his communication and everything else is what you would expect (clean, well furnished, ect). Only thing that was odd is that there is no real stove/ oven....just a single hot plate on the counter which was a tad finicky to use, but not a deal breaker and we figured it all out. Would happily stay here again.
