This is very beautiful house with all amenities and entertainment. This is a great place for road trip to stay between your destinations. All basic stores near around within 10 km Now the host Jer is great man alway positive response to your special request. Always quick responsive and a message away for any help. Good place to chill and relax. Quite surrounding

We had high expectations, and they were exceeded. There were so many well thought out small details that don't show up in the description -- all of which added to the lovely experience. We had a wonderful time. A few additional notes. We had a cold weather stay (March). As it is a stand alone guest house, I was a bit concerned about it being chilly. It was incredibly well and evenly heated. I suspect it is a heated floor as the floor itself was also nice and warm everywhere. The hot tub is particularly wonderful -- much better than your average hot tub. Spacious, various seating options, warm, and a very enjoyable atmosphere in that little side fenced area. Note that some activities/museums are closed in March, so be sure to research ahead. It didn't detract from our lovely time, but good to know in advance. We also found some surprising restaurant gems in Orillia (Toronto Pho Orillia and Picnic Tapas and Wine were two favourites). Better than advertised! Fantastic choice!

great place for getaway

We had a great time. Sir Sam’s ski hill nearby. Hot tub was great for those days when ski hill was not an option. There is fast internet at the cottage. Very private and quiet. We enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely stay for Valentine’s Day weekend! The place was clean and cozy! Instructions were super clear and made checking in super easy. Definitely a well needed relaxing weekend!

We had a fantastic time during our stay. We stayed during the Easter weekend to see a concert at Casino Rama. I asked if a crock pot was available at the home. The host told me it was not, however approximately 20 mins after arriving they delivered a crock pot to us. Rooms were bright and spacious and bathrooms were extremely clean!!! The adult kids loved the PS5 and everyone loved the hot tub. Love that pets are allowed. The welcome items were extremely thoughtful and our personalized welcome note was inviting. Great location to walk to shopping or just a short ride to the casino. Will definately be staying again!!!!

Mina and Calving were very friendly. The place is beautiful. Very spacious and perfect for a group of people. We enjoyed so much so we will be back! Thank you Mina and Calving !

Great place for large groups. BBQ and firepit patio are great amenities. Multiple large rooms with games and huge TV's helps spread out a larger guest group. Very spacious parking area with high visibility for getting out on the road. Very private location with no visible residencies. Gas and food all within a 5 min drive.

Beautiful, clean, spacious, well equipped, has comfy beds and is dog friendly. Make sure to bring coffee, salt and pepper, oil, hand soap, dishwashing detergent, dishwasher pods, paper towel and a hair dryer. We enjoyed the ice rink and outdoor hot tub and some snow shoe paths on the property. It's only a 20 min drive to the Bracebridge forest management centre which has well groomed cross country and snow shoe trails, no charge. We enjoyed our stay.

Firstly, this home was the nicest vacation home my family and I have EVER stayed at. It was very spacious, luxurious finishes throughout , it fit my family of 7 very well. The rooms are all good sizes. There are 4 rooms with beds in them, an office on the main floor that we put a crib in for the baby and an additional room in the basement which could be used as a bedroom if you bring a blowup mattress. The backyard is huge, the playground set was a great treat for my kids, however the hot tub did not seem like it was operable. Mina our host was absolutely AMAZING! Her response time to any of our enquires was very prompt, she made sure we truly enjoyed our stay. We would have loved if the home had blackout curtains as the rooms get quite bright in the morning when the sun comes up, but it wasn't the end of the world. All in all, it was an AMAZING STAY! Definitely recommended!!

Hosted our corporate meeting at the location and the house was perfect. Clean linens beautiful games area and very clean. Asif was very responsive and answered all of our questions quickly and was very helpful. Would definitely stay again.

My partner and I booked Katrina’s place for an anniversary getaway. The space was exactly as pictured and everything we could have asked for. The big windows to the front of the house made it feel so spacious and let in so much light, we only wish we had them in our own home. The kitchen had everything we could’ve asked for— from a blender, to a juicer, coffee maker and even an air fryer! The hot tub was so much larger than we expected. The Airbnb itself was situated on a cute little backroad, private from Barrie. It felt as if we were in our own little town away from everything. A quick walk to the beach that looked so peaceful, we only wish it wasn’t snowing and windy like crazy so we could’ve enjoyed it fully as well as the fire pit outside. We made due with the indoor wood burning fireplace 😉 Katrina had immaculate response time and was very pleasant to communicate with. We will definitely be coming back, it was such a nice retreat for us to celebrate our love 🫶🏻

Jason had a beautiful home that we were grateful to spend our Christmas holidays at. When there was an issue with electronics that we needed help with, not only did he respond rapidly but also came in person to help rectify the issue. A beautiful home and a wonderful host. :)

We had a lovely long weekend mini holiday! The cabin was exactly as described, but the lake view was even better than we could have imagined. Our hosts were very friendly and welcoming, including Honey the dog. We loved the hot tub and campfire. Very lovely area!

The romantic rustic cabin getaway was exactly what we were craving for a weekend escape! The cabin was so well decorated and had everything we needed. There were many thoughtful touches (chocolate covered strawberries at our arrival, dog treats and cute doggie bed, ample bottled water, nice robes). We had a great time using all the amenities too! The wood fire stove, propane fire pit, BBQ, and board games were all great additions that we had fun using. We loved having access to the hot tub and the spa-like indoor shower. Additionally, we really enjoyed walking around the snowy grounds as they were so beautiful. Sandra went above and beyond to make our stay so special. We can tell she really cares about hosting and curating a relaxing getaway for her guests. We highly recommend and will certainly be back!

I found this place during the power outage, hoping to find somewhere warm to stay, I was pleasantly surprised as I have stayed in many Airbnb’s for pleasure/travel. This was the first time I have ever felt that every section of this place was so meticulous to the travelers stay! It’s dog friendly. I had my senior great day in there with my partner, and we will definitely be coming to visit again ! It’s the perfect little getaway from every day life for you and your partner. I absolutely adored staying here and the host is absolutely amazing. You can tell she really cares about that place and who stays there.

We chose to cancel our trip to South Carolina due to the current USA administration's policies. We opted instead for an Ontario staycation and Highpoint Hideaway checked all of our boxes. It is so cozy and peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed the wood stove, the hot tub, the ambience and the natural setting. We went for some lovely walks and made all of our meals in the well stocked kitchen. It was important to us to have our dog, and the cottage was a perfect spot for him. I highly recommend Highpoint Hideaway!

Despite a brutal ice storm I had a cozy and relaxing retreat at the Nook. Thoughtfully put together with everything you could need yet still maintaining a peaceful minimalist vibe., the Nook's gas fireplace provided warmth and light during a province wide power outage and the host made sure I was comfortableand well looked after. Greg and Melissa were thoughtful and very accommodating during this extreme weather event. Excellent host, great communication and a beautiful cozy space.

We stayed at Norman & Ruth’s place Friday - Sunday. We were welcomed by Norman upon arrival, he gave us a tour and showed us all the in and outs of the cottage. Norman and Ruth were kind enough before arrival to provide us with local events happening the weekend we were staying. The cottage was COZY!!! No wifi- the perfect place to disconnect. Which we did lots as it rained through out our stay, we had plenty to do to keep us busy. (Many board games, lots of movies, fully functional kitchen). On dry time- We took the kayaks out to the mini private beach is perfect for some romance. Yard games, and hot tub to enjoy while the weather was great. Beautiful fire pit to get cozy at. Overall we felt comfortable here, it was clean, (not buggy!!), and we even tried the locals pizza - bedrock cafe, would recommend! Thank you Norman & Ruth for an amazing stay. We will be back!!
