So 24 hours before we were suppose to check into our other place the host cancelled on us. When we booked Ryker’s house they immediately got a hold of us and were very informative, which we are very thankful for. When we got to the house and when we walked into the first kitchen and we thought wow this is cozy. As we walked thru the house we were continuously amazed as the place opened up. The best part is when we got to the upstairs. The view was absolutely breathtaking. If you want a place to forget the rest of the world this is the place to stay. We will be definitely in the future staying at one of Ryker’s house.

5/5 – A Blessed Stay During a Special Time We originally booked for a week leading up to our wedding and felt so at peace in this space that we came back and booked a few more days the following week. It truly felt like home! Everything we needed was already there—extra couch blankets, a snack basket filled with all our favorite treats, and even fresh fruit on the table. The kitchen was perfect for cooking, fully stocked with my favorite ingredients. The home was spotless, with thoughtful touches like shampoo, conditioner, and soap ready to go. Thank you for providing such a clean, cozy, and welcoming space during such a meaningful time in our lives. We were so blessed by this stay and look forward to returning again!

Rachel was a great host! Very responsive and happy to give recommendations for things to do in downtown Sacramento. Lovely spot, lots of space, and great amenities. Very close to downtown and a nice quiet area.

Kyle was an awesome host - always very responsive, respectful, and friendly. I loved the space! I felt safe, it was comfy, it was clean, and the amenities were on point. I would definitely stay again!

We booked Michael's home at the last minute, and we found the rate reasonable. He was willing to accommodate 3 humans and 6 dogs (in the area for a dog show). It's a really neat space... older yes, but that's a large part of its charm. I'd read reviews ahead of time and yes the bathroom situation is a bit odd, but we made it work with no problems. It's a neat neighborhood with a vibrant feel, several great restaurants within walking distance, and parking was much easier than I feared it would be.

It's a historic and comfortable and homey accommodation on the tiny main street of an unusual tiny town in the Sacramento River Delta. We had the "Honeymoon Suite"--our own kitchen and a private back porch. The AirBnB does also sport a more public verandah overlooking the main street and its assortment of small businesses. Martha makes breakfast (part of the deal) more or less to order. Dinner? One restaurant on Main Street, lively and open 'til 9 or so but with a limited menu. Others are walkable but with limited hours. Parklands and the river (and a beautiful working drawbridge) are easy walks. Encounters with townspeople were friendly. Locke--the town--is really interesting and we slept well in Martha's care. We recommend highly.

What a great host Martha was! She was so personable and hospitable. She offered great information on the building history and a great breakfast. Quirky decor in each room and interesting layout. Had everything we needed and a lot of great shops nearby! If we’re back in the area for another event we’d definitely stay again!

We absolutely loved ‘A Slice of Heaven’. Shelley’s beautiful ranch was so peaceful and the very best part about it was all the wonderful rescue dogs. It really is a ‘slice of heaven’. The dogs are very well behaved and got along with my two small dogs and each other perfectly. I was truly amazed and happy to be there. I will go back and volunteer my time with Shelley. Also the complimentary breakfast was great!!

A comfortable, private and peaceful place for a weary traveler to unpack and unwind. Deepa was super nice, helpful, and quick to communicate. I hope I never have to make another 19 hour drive anywhere again, but if I do (and I go anywhere near Davis) I'll stay at Deepa's again.
