I'm a frequent guest at Tani's. Once I discovered her casita, I had no need to look elsewhere. It's clean, comfortable and convenient. The shower always has plenty of hot water, the AC/heater is great and it's situated within a walled complex. Parking is literally right outside, it feels safe and secluded. Tani is a great hostess, always very responsive and friendly. I recommend the casita without hesitation.

This is my third time visiting Felipe and staying in the blue bus, and it’s always a highlight of my annual motorcycle trip around Baja. There’s something special about riding down a long dirt road through the industrial strawberry fields to arrive at the bus. The walk down to the rocky beach at sunset is mandatory. The neighborhood is sparse and rough at first glance and this is part of what makes this overnight stay so unique. And they have the best loaner dog to accompany you on your walks. Highly recommend!

La cabaña fue perfecta para lo que esperábamos, un fin de semana con actividades al aire libre y un buen descanso. La mejor ubicación, caminábamos a los lugares para comer. Y la recomendaciones que recibimos de nuestro host nos ayudaron a planear las actividades. La Chorera con su playa, las dunas, los humedales, los volcanes, la comida y la calidez de su gente, nos invitan a regresar, y sin duda a esta cabaña.

We had a great time in this little house. The living room area felt very spacious and perfect for the kids to play. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and dine as a family. We loved this little home and will definitely be back to stay again.

This place looks like an oasis in the middle of the desert. The only detail is the lack of a curtain to darken the bedroom door. But I have to say I am happy to have met Ed and honored that he has shared some of his experiences with me. Really a great wild place to stay!

Tani’s house provides very comfortable accommodation at a great price. We rented the downstairs portion which included a kitchen, dining area, living room, bedroom and bathroom. The bedroom has a huge, soft, comfortable bed with a cute “under the stairs” bed that would be great for a kid. There’s abundant hot water and a heater was provided which was more than sufficient. The kitchen would be easy to prepare food in, if you’re so inclined. There’s a safe, private parking area inside the gated property. Tani is an extremely communicative and helpful hostess, I recommend her home without reservation!

Jiselle is a great host, she’s very responsive. The place looks as described, but more spacious than I thought. You use a passcode to check in. The place has un-gated private parking for 1-2 cars. It’s is conveniently located near the Humedales, about 12 min in car. We thought the place was very comfortable; however, we did have trouble showering with hot water. The faucet system is confusing, so check in with Jiselle to get clarity on that before your stay. Another thing to note is to double check the correct address of the place because we found out that the area has an avenue and a street with the same name.

Felipe answered all my questions before I committed to stay and my stay was excellent, with a short walk to the ocean. If you are looking for peace and quiet I would recommend staying here! Felipe’s mother “Keta” went above and beyond!!! Very kind hosts and family/friends, with values that are very strong. What more could you ask for? Thank you guys!
