Lisa and Tommy was very responsive to questions we asked and their directions were spot on for getting in to their cabin. A wonderful private getaway for couples. Very peaceful and serene. The decor give you the feel of going back in time. WONDERFUL time spent here and memories made.

comfortable for a two day zoo trip! we loved the riverside part nearby too. my husband liked the pong in the back for catching bass. be mindful that the fence around the horses is electrified. we got zapped (harmless but surprising) a couple of times!

The place was great, nice neighborhood and close to the zoo. There's also an incredible ZooCity complex with many soccer fields and probably the best jungle gym I've seen (unfortunately it was under repair for our stay). Reegan immediately reached out after booking, was flexible with my dates and check out time, and 10/10 would stay there again in the future. not many places to eat, close to Dollar General and gas stations, close to the zoo. quiet. large back yard. enjoyed the front porch. would stay here again.

Julies property is not only comfortable and full of family amenities and activities, it is also spotlessly clean. The kids (ages 13 & 5) loved the house and frankly didn't want to leave. The little playhouse in the yard was such a wonderful little surprise. The house also offered wonderful amenities including travel toiletries and extra condiments in the fridge which was a very thoughtful thing to offer her guests. We will be staying here the next time we are in Asheboro.

Great little house in an excellent location. Within minutes of both the zoo and downtown Ashboro. Perfect spot for exploring the area. Would definitely recommend and would stay here again.

We enjoyed the location. Peaceful, tranquil and beautiful. Tastefully decorated. Loved the outdoor space as well. The owners are wonderful people. A rain storm was happening the day we were leaving. They called to check on us. Which we thought was terrific. We would stay here again.

We loved coming to the cottage after a long day of exploring and relaxing with a cozy fireplace and a cup of tea. The place had abundant relaxing corners. The front porch swinging chair was very welcoming . The beds and comforters were just right for the cold night and we had a restful sleep.

Charming and comfortable home! There was plenty of room inside for all of us (6 adults and 3 infants) and lots of room for the kids to play. Photos show the house well and the property in the back is a nice spot to take a stroll. Very clean. And good instructions for the property are provided by the host.
