Perfect private spot for families! The house wars very pretty, updated and clean. Plenty of stuff for kids to do with toys and games, and the kitchen has everything we needed to make breakfast. Location was super handy to the freeway, five minutes from grocery stores and restaurants. Thank you Marie!

We loved our stay at Sara's place. It was quite relaxing after having been on the road for hours. Even though it was in town, it felt like we were tucked away in the woods. It was nice to be able to walk to restaurants which Sara recommended. The bed was super comfortable. The cabin and shower house didn't quite meet our cleanliness standards but considering we probably reserved an hour before arriving, it was understandable. We'd definitely reserve again.

Exactly as listed! Perfect overnight stay before a day at the zoo. Cozy but had everything you need. We will be back!

Shannon and Brian were great and the property was amazing. We were free to roam the property, view the animals, and even fish. If we are ever in the area, we will definitely book here again. Thank you for a perfect mini vacation.

Most excellent cabin tucked away off the street. Very private and quiet. Surrounded by the wilderness, it’s hard to believe there are neighbors. Highly recommended.

Such a great place for a relaxing getaway. Felt right at home. Kitchen well equipped. Rental was clean. Game room was such a nice added option. The waters in the fridge and snacks were a nice added touch.

The cabin is very clean and well taken care of. It is remote(about 20 minutes from the downtown of Asheboro) and peaceful. We only stayed one night after visiting the zoo with our kiddos and it mostly met our needs. The rooms were pretty bright with sheer curtains over the top of vinyl blinds so it was a little tough to get our kids to sleep since it's light out until almost 8pm now. I had read that there were room darkening shades so I assumed that meant something else. I also appreciated that there was a washer and dryer because after a day at the zoo, we needed to do a small load however there was no detergent provided which I did not know in advance. I would have brought some from home. Driving 20 minutes into town and 20 minutes back wasn't in the cards at that point in the evening. Overall, a nice home and very responsive hosts but just a few things I thought should be clarified for other folks looking to stay.

We loved coming to the cottage after a long day of exploring and relaxing with a cozy fireplace and a cup of tea. The place had abundant relaxing corners. The front porch swinging chair was very welcoming . The beds and comforters were just right for the cold night and we had a restful sleep.
