Absolutely loved the place! Amazing house with everything you can even think of. Stunning view on the vulcano and quite surrounding. Restaurants and shops nearby. The host is very friendly, respond really quick and helped us immediately with staying longer. Really appreciated! Would def recommend this house and come back again!

Mountain House located in central Ohakune

Excellent place to stay with family & friends in Ohakune. Loads of space for sleeping and lounging. More modern than the photos looked. Roomy, lockable garage to store skis and bikes. Thought of all the little things: DVD player & loads of movies to choose from, play station, table tennis, foosball table. Shaun was quick to reply to our request to check in early.

Tony was a very helpful and friendly host and quickly responded to our queries . The house was well set up and very comfortable . Great location in National Park and handy to the Tongariro Crossing . Highly recommended

What a beautiful place you have so lucky to be under the mountain! Would love to come back and stay here again in the winter. Thanks again for hosting us, had such an awesome experience. Nice to have the heat pump and fireplace with lots of wood to keep warm on those chilly nights and mornings.

Our family had a wonderful stay in Ohakune and the hot tub and games room really made this place a game changer for our stay. The house was tidy and easy to check in. There are little cards throughout the place with clear instructions on how to use the fire, spa and information about check out which were fantastic and made the process super easy. Thank you Rebekah and family!

Great location and facilities. Our family loved hopping in the spa pool after walking the Tongariro crossing. New bathroom and shower excellent. Beds very comfortable and it was great having a log fire. Nice to have a coffee machine and slow cooker available for us foodies. We had a fantastic stay!

Such a beautiful home with lots of character. Perfect spot for a few families and lots of room for the kids to run around outside. We loved our stay and will be back hopefully next snow season 😊

Sandy is an amazing host, warm and welcoming. Marta and Alan were also so nice. The room was clean and tidy, linens were fresh. When I was there, the weather was a bit chilly, so the warm blankets on the bed were so nice. This is such a cool place to be, a building with history that Sandy excitedly shared, and the view of Mt Ruapehu was, frankly, incredible. I 1000% recommend this place (and Sandy) to others.

Loved my stay at Keith’s. It was warm and inviting felt like home. It has everything you could need and is set in a beautiful place with views of the mountain. Highly recommend.
