A lovely house with everything you need for a cosy stay. Our two young daughters loved the outdoor baths and making friends with the cows. I’d recommend Delwyn’s house to anyone looking for an escape!

This is a small but comfortable two bedroom cottage with everything we needed for a five night stay, there were two of us, in the summer. Weather was warm and we didn’t make use of extra facilities like hot tub or wood fire so can’t comment on them. We came and went by train, and got round the town by bike (there are two shops hiring bikes in town). The main town on the highway is a good 20 minutes walk. There are more cafes and restaurants around the station, 10-15 minutes in the other direction, including great pizza place. It’s a pretty town and great location if you like a few days walking and riding in the bush. There are more bike shops offer shuttles if you want to go further afield. We didn’t need to contact host Mike after we got there, as everything was set up and worked, but beforehand he was very prompt answering any queries.

Our second time at the cottage and just as lovely as the first. The cottage is a great place to unwind and appreciate nature. The hosts have preserved its original beauty and the decor is in keeping with its heritage. Well appointed and comfortable rooms with all you need for a weekend of peace in the countryside. Kylie is always friendly, responsive and welcoming. Thanks again and we look forward to a future visit.

We had a wonderful stay at Michelle and Stu's cottage on their beautiful, expansive farm. Stu took us on an amazing 1.5-hour ATV tour around the property, showcasing the stunning surroundings. The environment is truly breathtaking. The cottage itself is great, with everything you need. The pool is a lot of fun, and the spa/hot tub by the house is a fantastic addition that we thoroughly enjoyed. Michelle was very hospitable, bringing us fresh eggs and having a lovely chat with us, which made us feel very welcome. It's worth noting that the cottage is quite old and off-the-grid in terms of TV and internet, so don't expect a modern apartment with all the latest amenities. However, it's a perfect place to truly get away from it all and enjoy some peace and tranquility. Overall, it's a beautiful place to escape and unwind, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy nature.

Beautiful scenery, live entertainment over the fence and a brilliant back-story of the cottage make this a very special place. Great for families wanting some time away. Would highly recommend and already planning our return.

Our group of 6 + 1 furry friend loved our stay here! Great location for walking / running local trails and cruising to the pub or out for coffee. A 3 min drive to the supermarket. Felt like a safe area to be in and was super quiet and peaceful! We’d definitely stay again - thank you!!

My husband and I and our visitors from Japan loved the beautiful, peaceful setting with the animals grazing around, as well as the character of the period Cottage, very comfortable, well furnished and stocked. Andrew could not have been a more responsive, helpful host! We walked to and from town in the evening, and on the River Trail in the morning - beautiful old, tall trees, a well-formed track, all quite flat. Altogether very highly recommended!

A beautiful spot in a very peaceful area, providing rwo lovely bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The compact kitchen area had everything you needed and more, with breakfast options and little snacks included! Brenda went out of her way to help with our needs which was so appreciated. Lovely outdoor areas to enjoy. This was a great place to stay.

One of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. Extremely comfortable and clean. Beautifully decorated. Amazing mountain view from the property. Great walks a short drive away. Absolutely loved it all. Antje was so great to deal with.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hannah’s place. The place is spotless, and beautifully decorated. Hannah was so kind and helpful when we were arriving late after a long drive. The place is a perfect little haven after a day of travel. Would 100% recommend, our only regret is we didn’t have another night there!

Good place. Rustic ... but exactly what was on the tin. I think the only thing I'd change would be to provide additional heating in the living area (beyond the fire).

We had an amazing stay at this cozy cabin. The location is perfect – right next to a beautiful stream that made the whole place feel so peaceful. Waking up to the sound of the water was just incredible. The cabin had everything we needed and was super comfortable. It was the perfect spot to unwind and relax. The host was great and made sure everything was sorted. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a peaceful getaway. Can’t wait to come back!
