A lovely house with everything you need for a cosy stay. Our two young daughters loved the outdoor baths and making friends with the cows. I’d recommend Delwyn’s house to anyone looking for an escape!

Michael’s place is a lovely cottage in the country, with a driveway for the car & a garden & patio for the people. Inside are two good bedrooms, bathroom (great shower), lounge / kitchen / dining table & washing machine too. The kitchen was well equipped & there were various extras - a log burner, BBQ & hot tub. A cosy home from home & I would certainly recommend. Michael was also a friendly, pro-active host in all his communications with us.

Really neat to stay on a working sheep farm. The e-bikes to the reservoir and back were such a neat amenity. The walk up to the picnic bench gives a great view. The outdoor bathtub is lovely.

We had a wonderful stay at Michelle and Stu's cottage on their beautiful, expansive farm. Stu took us on an amazing 1.5-hour ATV tour around the property, showcasing the stunning surroundings. The environment is truly breathtaking. The cottage itself is great, with everything you need. The pool is a lot of fun, and the spa/hot tub by the house is a fantastic addition that we thoroughly enjoyed. Michelle was very hospitable, bringing us fresh eggs and having a lovely chat with us, which made us feel very welcome. It's worth noting that the cottage is quite old and off-the-grid in terms of TV and internet, so don't expect a modern apartment with all the latest amenities. However, it's a perfect place to truly get away from it all and enjoy some peace and tranquility. Overall, it's a beautiful place to escape and unwind, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy nature.

Beautiful scenery, live entertainment over the fence and a brilliant back-story of the cottage make this a very special place. Great for families wanting some time away. Would highly recommend and already planning our return.

Our group of 6 + 1 furry friend loved our stay here! Great location for walking / running local trails and cruising to the pub or out for coffee. A 3 min drive to the supermarket. Felt like a safe area to be in and was super quiet and peaceful! We’d definitely stay again - thank you!!

My husband and I and our visitors from Japan loved the beautiful, peaceful setting with the animals grazing around, as well as the character of the period Cottage, very comfortable, well furnished and stocked. Andrew could not have been a more responsive, helpful host! We walked to and from town in the evening, and on the River Trail in the morning - beautiful old, tall trees, a well-formed track, all quite flat. Altogether very highly recommended!

I stayed in Kosbys Cottage for 2 weeks in the New Zealand summer to hike in Tongariro National Park. The cottage was a large space for a solo traveler but provided a nice kitchen with adequate pots, utensils, and so forth for meal preparation. It was a very pleasant space to relax in after a long day of hiking, and rest days were pleasant with a large sofa for lounging and large dining room table for working and eating. Notes for future guests: the New World grocery in Ohakune is large enough to shop when you arrive; the front door was locking automatically every time the door closed so I was very careful to keep the key with me at all times to prevent lockout; read the cottage information on the refrigerator for helpful tips. I used the woodstove early in my trip when the nights were cold and it kept the cottage warm and felt like part of the adventure. Sara was responsive to my questions. I would stay here again for a long time.

cute old lil Bach with some interesting history & photos on the wall. we enjoyed the location, close to.the Beach & the Citadel cafe. being pet friendly was extremely important to us too. this was my 2nd stay at Monday cottage & would stay again. recommend to others looking for a lil escape at the beach

One of the nicest places I have ever stayed in. Extremely comfortable and clean. Beautifully decorated. Amazing mountain view from the property. Great walks a short drive away. Absolutely loved it all. Antje was so great to deal with.

We absolutely loved our stay at Bede's place. VERY peaceful neighbourhood, comfy bed, and hot shower! We enjoyed the book collection, games, woodstove, and fireplace and being so close to the park. We had complete privacy and were made to feel right at home for our month-long stay.

Beautiful off-the-grid property. Lovely trees and animals. Old bach style. Nearby Bushy Park is absolutely stunning. Private road entrance. Dog-friendly (my small dog would get a bit barky if Hel's medium-sized dog appeared at the cabin unexpectedly, but they were both patient with him). Bring antihistamines if you're prone to hayfever. Mini fridge does the job.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hannah’s place. The place is spotless, and beautifully decorated. Hannah was so kind and helpful when we were arriving late after a long drive. The place is a perfect little haven after a day of travel. Would 100% recommend, our only regret is we didn’t have another night there!

Good place. Rustic ... but exactly what was on the tin. I think the only thing I'd change would be to provide additional heating in the living area (beyond the fire).

Jared & Leonie are awesome hosts. We loved everything about our stay. Their place is beautiful & is well described online. They were very responsive & always made sure our stay was good. I was traveling with a friend from the UK, exploring parts of the North Island. Really enjoyed staying at Hans' place. Beautiful old cottage, very clean & cosy. Were treated with homemade bread & fruit from their trees. The house is close to town. Gorgeous weather & had fun wandering through the market by the river.

We had a wonderful stay. Everything was perfect and had everything we needed for a very comfortable stay. It was warm and cosy. The trampoline in the backyard was a hit with the kids. Would love to stay here again!
