A beautiful quiet stay in a very cozy little area. A lovely house with amazing winter sun in the afternoon, perfect for unwinding after a day of travel. Lovely host with excellent communication. Looking forward to returning.

High Peaks Farm Cottage

We had a wonderful stay at Michelle and Stu's cottage on their beautiful, expansive farm. Stu took us on an amazing 1.5-hour ATV tour around the property, showcasing the stunning surroundings. The environment is truly breathtaking. The cottage itself is great, with everything you need. The pool is a lot of fun, and the spa/hot tub by the house is a fantastic addition that we thoroughly enjoyed. Michelle was very hospitable, bringing us fresh eggs and having a lovely chat with us, which made us feel very welcome. It's worth noting that the cottage is quite old and off-the-grid in terms of TV and internet, so don't expect a modern apartment with all the latest amenities. However, it's a perfect place to truly get away from it all and enjoy some peace and tranquility. Overall, it's a beautiful place to escape and unwind, and we highly recommend it for anyone looking to disconnect and enjoy nature.

From the moment I arrived Julianne and Tim were extremely welcoming and friendly and throughout the whole stay,which made me feel safe and comfortable. I only stayed for 2 nights and wish I could have stayed longer, so nice and quiet, a very private peaceful place, with some stunning sunsets. I quite enjoyed the watching the planes at the airport coming into land. 10 mins to Palmy and about 20 mins from Feilding. Lots of stuff to do in the area. Definitely recommend staying here. Comfortable warm cozy room, plenty of amenities provided.. 10/10.

myself and grandchildren loved Cecile's place..homely and has everything our lil family needed even the extras of brekky stuff, spreads, bread, milk ..truly appreciated when showing up with X4 young children ..We had a dip in pool abit cool at this time of year but refreshing ..

Ken was quick to reply to initial request to book and very prompt to respond to communication during our stay. Lovely accommodation in peaceful neighbourhood with access to everything you might need & great riverside walking, we’d have booked for longer if we’d known!

The place was convenient, clean and private. Had all the amenities needed for a short stay. The host(s) were very considerate and baked us a fresh loaf of bread along with a fully functional kitchen. Highly recommend for couples needing privacy and serene environment.

The Big Retreat with Pool

As Listed Tess answered all my Question and was friendly to deal with. House was as per photos clean and tidy, with lots of extra bits and bobs in the kitchen cupboards The pool was clean with some toys around, cover did a good job keeping warmth in the water. Lounge seating, and beds were very comfortable. I would book again

We stayed 2 nights at Gill's home and everything was perfect. The house is beautiful, set in amongst the trees and bush, it's very private but so close to the city centre. It really is amazing! The pool provided the perfect way to relax and unwind after the days activities 🙂 Gill is a great host and a good communicator. She made sure we had everything we needed, and more. I highly recommend Gill and her beautiful home. Thank you for everything, Gill 🙂

Booked this property for 2 work colleagues. They absolutely loved the property. It was so peaceful and easy to find, the hosts were super friendly and helpful, it had everything you needed. They would not hesitate to stay again. They will definitely be back when they are in the area.
