This was a great country house! So nice, and clean, and felt extremely cozy and comfortable. Our family traveled down to visit and celebrate our mom’s birthday and Ashley truly went above to make sure we felt welcomed including setting up birthday decorations, making dog treats for our fur animal, and having a pack n play set up for my 2 year old to sleep - it was so convenient to not have to travel with our own! There were SO many things to keep ourselves occupied in and around the house also! Board games galore, all kinds of reading material, a kids playroom filled!, outside games - bags, footballs, wiffle balls, pond fishing, a paddle boat (which we didn’t use because it was too chilly), all sizes of rain boots for a hike around the forest… she really thought of everything! We would all definitely stay here again! Thank you Ashley for helping us have such a memorable and enjoyable weekend!

Platypus Hills is a superb retreat! The home was perfectly equipped, clean and so comfortable! Danielle, Susie, Nancy & Dawn are perfect hosts! Available and friendly but respectful of your privacy. The setting is idyllic and provided me and friends a peaceful and relaxing get away that left us refreshed and re-energized. Just loved our time! Thank you all!

Lovely home with amazing attention to detail. As we opened the door, soft lighting greeted us, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The treats in the kitchen made us smile! Comfortable furniture to watch tv or read. Great beds. Thick, fluffy towels. We really enjoyed our stay!

The property was perfect for us while working in the area. Having a fenced back yard was great for our Lab pup.

I found Shanelle’s place last minute, we stayed for the weekend and it was perfect! It is out the way but still close to town. Super comfy & very modern. Definitely worth it to check it out! Shanelle is a great host and the place is beautiful, very upkept.

Megan's place is a very beautiful rustic style cabin with modern appliances. Both bathrooms are modernized with a rustic feel. The multi-jet shower upstairs was great! My husband and my mom stayed with me and the main level bedroom/bathroom combo just off the kitchen was perfect for my elderly mom. The details throughout the cabin are impeccable. From hand carved wooden hinges to beautiful displays of antiques and an array of taxidermy, I could tell this cabin was built with love and very well maintained. Megan is a fantastic host and made sure our stay met our needs. She is very friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend Megan's place for anyone visiting the area! Thank you, Megan, for making us feel at home!

I surprised my boyfriend with this cabin for his birthday and he loved it! Chris was extremely understanding and flexible while I figured out the dates and was kind enough to extend our check out time when asked. It is a very beautiful, cozy space with a lovely view. We felt like we were right at home the entire time. We absolutely loved this place! It was totally worth it and we hope to go back some time in the summer to enjoy the beautiful balcony and it’s surroundings.

Great place! Super clean, nice homey touches (we appreciated the snacks!), amazing water pressure in shower, and peaceful surroundings. Would definitely stay again!
