Sweet little cottage on a beautiful, peaceful farm. I loved walking the grounds and listening to the birds. The spa was lovely, the artwork there was amazing. I had a chair massage and it was very relaxing. Would love to visit again.

This was a wonderful place to stay in and enjoy the outdoors right next to the beautiful Shenandoah River. The fire pit next to the river is very relaxing but no firewood fire as provided so you have to look for a stack be by sold nearby. The hot tub is a perfect touch and so relaxing to enjoy during the stay. Very clean place although we wish that at least towels had been provided. We were told about no linens beforehand, nonetheless despite these minor inconveniences we really enjoyed staying here and would definitely come back.

We really enjoyed our stay at Patricia's cottage. She is such an amazing hostess and the place was perfect for us. Just wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved it. It was perfect for a night away from the kids and Farmville has some good restaurants and a great coffee shop for breakfast within 5-10 minutes driving. We're hoping to go back!

I had a meeting at National Harbor, which is near Masha's home. I appreciated being able to stay in her spacious and calming cottage. It was a welcome change of pace.

This place was our best choice even before we realized there would be a freshly-prepared, multi-course gourmet breakfast. House is as advertised, clean, and well-located. Scott and Lisa are friendly, responsive, and fantastic cooks. Enjoy!

This was our second stay at Mingo’s micro. We find it to be the perfect spot that covers all our needs when we’re in DC. It’s in an area close enough to everything for convenience but removed enough to still be out of the busy part of the city and have a little privacy. We appreciate the space and are glad it was available again for this trip. Hope to be back soon!

Beautiful A-frame cabin in a very quite area. Living space is just as described, kitchen is in pristine condition, and has all the amenities you will need for a little getaway weekend. Kaja was extremely responsive throughout our stay, and made sure we had everything we needed. However, there are some things to note: 1.) The wifi runs on a 10GB sim card and by the time we checked in, 120GB was used out of the 10GB plan. We contacted Kaja and she responded promptly. Unfortunately we had to revert to using our own hotspot for the wifi. 2.) Not sure if it was because of the time of the year, but it was very windy outside the cabin. Because of this, we weren't able to use the fire pit. Throughout the night the winds would make the cabin creak, but luckily wasn't enough to wake us up completely. 3.) The small road leading to the cabin are very steep and bumpy, and roughly takes about 10-15 mins to get onto the main road. As long as you're prepared for the above, this place is very worth it

Beautiful and unique little spot. Great place to get comfortable and watch a movie or relax in the hot tub with your significant other. Feels very private and good distance to downtown and other things in the area.

Charming cabin, beautiful neighborhood

Quiet evenings and peaceful sunrises are what you get here! Even the rooster accommodates sleep-ins, and saves his crowing for later. (He’s the big man on the farm, he needs no introduction) The tiny house is comfy and there’s plenty of room for a relaxing stay! Also plenty of great locally owned restaurants nearby!

Catherine has a lovely carriage house! It was decorated beautifully, very clean and perfectly sized for me! Her directions were crystal clear and she made it a breeze for self check in. The neighborhood is lovely with many walkable destinations. I felt very safe as well. I had a lovely stay and would love to stay again when I find myself back in town overnight!

Really great little cozy getaway on the water. Peaceful and quiet this time of year. Would love to come again but noticed the prices per night almost triple in late spring and summer. Great place to stay though. Host are great. Really cool place.

I travel to the Annapolis to visit my Mid at the Naval Academy often and enjoyed staying at this affordable location. It is in close proximity to everything and the cottage was just what was needed for a comfortable weekend visit. I will definitely check for availability the next time I’m in town.

Perfect compliment to an evening at the Three Blacksmiths! This is the second time we have stayed here while dining at the Three Blacksmiths, which is only about a 2 min walk. And in the morning, the coffee shop next door is outstanding. The cottage is very cute and well appointed. The only issue we had is that when it is extremely windy, the roof rattles but that is to be expected with such an old building. It is a perfect little night away from northern Virginia!

We came for a short getaway for the weekend and this cottage was perfect! The location was so quiet and peaceful, and the cottage itself had everything we needed. Very good location for us to spend the day at wineries and antique stores. Danielle was a great host and gave great directions and recommendations, and we enjoyed the personal touches as well. Definitely would love to come back in the future!

Cynthia’s cottage is such a sweet and homey place to stay. I felt very relaxed there and evening was clean and easy to find! I wish we could have stayed longer!

Our stay on this houseboat in Annapolis was nothing short of extraordinary! From the moment we arrived, we were immersed in the serene beauty of the water and had a front-row view of Annapolis's charming waterfront. The proximity to local restaurants and shops made it so convenient to explore the area, yet returning to the boat always felt like our own little retreat. One of the memorable moments was having dinner on the top deck. Watching the sun set over the water as we enjoyed a meal was an experience we’ll never forget. The gentle sway of the boat, combined with the spectacular view, created the perfect backdrop for unwinding and making memories. There are so many other wonderful details about this place that made it unique, from the cozy yet spacious interiors to the thoughtful amenities provided by the host. For anyone looking for a unique, peaceful getaway with access to everything Annapolis has to offer, this houseboat is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

We had a very enjoyable stay at Dan and Scott's Sunnyside Up cottage. The cottage was immaculate, everything seemed new and crispy clean. All linens were top quality and abundant. The kitchen was well stocked with what you might need to do some light cooking. Perfect for us. The sitting area was cozy and entirely adequate for two people. The hosts provided a sweet touch with a small Christmas tree that you could see from the street, very welcoming and warm. Colonial Beach itself was a great discovery for us. We enjoyed walking along the water and in town. Everyone we met was friendly and helpful. We came for a quiet, restorative holiday and were not disappointed. Recommendations: stock up at the grocery on the edge of town, Sunflower restaurant is excellent, visit Magnolia Hall! What a nice establishment. We hope to return when the weather is a bit warmer but chilly was invigorating! Thank you, Scott and Dan for being such thoughtful and responsive hosts.
