We had a great stay at Temple & Rick’s place. They were so helpful and always responsive to questions. Their place was as described and very nice! Would definitely recommend and will stay again in future. Thank you again Temple & Rick!! You were an amazing host & its much appreciated!!

We felt this location was a great choice. The only negative was it took over 5 hours to get there :( The house was VERY spacious and the kitchen was WELL STOCKED. We loved having to refrigerators! Mark was a wonderful host. He gave us tips and showed us how to get to the water. We loved all the wood inside the house, but felt the stairs to the 2nd floor were a little uneven and had our 20 year olds trip a couple of times. We loved how open downstairs is and just LOVE this place. We wished it was closer to our house.

Absolutely breathtaking views! The pictures don’t even do it justice. The little yoga room was lovely & so relaxing too. I felt isolated and safe. I will 100% be coming back. We did a short drive to Garner State Park and hiked Old Badly while we were in town, too! The hosts did a great job and explaining the water situation up front, so there was no surprise. I’d recommend bringing your own hairdryer - as I couldn’t find one in the unit! For those worried about the gravel road, I have a Honda CRV and didn’t have any trouble getting to and from the place. I could see how if the road was wet or severely worn, it could be an issue - but during a dry season, I had no issue at all. I do not recommend a sedan vehicle as others stated! You’ll love this place and not want to leave!

The cabin was perfect! The location was very peaceful and beautiful! And very close to Garner State Park which we planned to visit! Very family friendly!

I could never put in to words the beauty of this place. The layout of the home was genius. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the outside refrigerator was a plus. Every morning we met outside in the covered patio for breakfast. Just down the lawn was the river and a wall of massive limestone bluffs. If the river is too low to rent tubes and kayaks, like in our situation, have no fear. Kayaks are provided by the host and the water was plenty deep. We made hobo dinners and s’mores by the river one night, and told scary stories. Also, don’t forget to play finger puppets on the side of the bluffs at night. Thank you so much to our host and her family for sharing this home.

Our stay was amazing. The kids loved spending time on the river and spending time outdoors. This place is so quiet and private. We loved being able to spend time outdoors at night star gazing and cooking out.

My only thing to comment on is the kitchen. There is not a lot of pots or pans or gadgets in the kitchen so if you are planning on cooking make sure you think about all the possible things you could need and bring them. The house was great! AC was amazing! Yard is really nice because it is fenced in. Wonderful pool. Very quiet at night so very peaceful! I would stay here again!

Great location! Updated , fresh cabins, clean and well-taken care of. Fabulous pool to splash in after a morning of biking.

Great place to stay. The water was real low and we could not tube but we found some water close by to just hang out and had a great time. We would definitely stay there again. The pool was nice and not crowded.

Veronica's Frio River House was excellent. First, it was exactly as shown in the pictures. It was spacious, lovely, well-laid-out, with plenty of kitchen items for cooking ... wonderful. Veronica had thought of everything and provided an outstanding experience from start to finish. The interaction with the host was quick, thorough, accommodating, and cheerful. Renters should note that all the rentals in the area require you to bring your linens, so don't be caught unaware. I add this not as a complaint but just as a reminder to renters, as reading a review was how I noted this!

We had a wonderful time, it was the perfect weekend getaway, we got to star gaze, do a cookout! With tons of places to eat and hike; the host(s) were very friendly and detailed about the expectations. Definitely will visit again!

This was our third stay and it was just as perfect as the last two trips! We look forward to getting away for the holiday and just relaxing as a family. We loved the changes that were made to create more of a lounging/living room.

Darren and his family were very helpful and kind, it was perfect place for me and my family. The grilling area in the back was good and the grill was a perfect size for my fajitas and ribs. We finished the night in the front deck watching the rain and just chillin and kicking back. 100 percent recommend.!!

Great stay! Beautiful scenery, loved the pool! The only thing is that when we arrived at the house, all of the doors were unlocked which was sort of concerning. I would definitely book with Lindsay again!

Perfect Getaway Spot! A few of us from SpaceX stayed at Bet’s Airbnb for a relaxing getaway, and it was exactly what we needed! The place was cozy, peaceful, and the perfect spot to unwind. The directions provided were super clear, making it easy to find. Everything about the stay was smooth and stress-free. We’d definitely book again!

Very relaxing, close to beautiful Hill Country roads, Garner State Park, and Frio Bat Flight activities.
