My lady friend and I spent a long weekend at Kate's place and it was perfect. We wanted to stay in and enjoy a cozy cabin and this was a perfect fit for us. Everything was super clean and the small touches made us feel at home. The hot tub was excellent - easy to use and spotless! We love to cook and the kitchen was ideal for us with lots of room to work. The huge open room in the living/kitchen area was a wonderful place to enjoy ourselves. The bedrooms were cozy and exactly as described, and the mattress and bedding were excellent. I had a quick question about something and Kate got back to me almost immediately with the information I needed. Overall, I can't imagine a better AirBNB experience!

The cabin was beautiful- BETTER than the pictures. The host family offers luxury "perks" like wonderful toiletries, pillowtop mattresses and top end pillows, soft blankets rolled up everywhere for guest to use, plush towels, the lights were on when we got there as was the hot tub ready to go. We will definitely be back. What a treat!

The photos don't do this unique, comfortable, serene, special place justice! Any time of year this would be the best stay, and it's equipped with everything you would need and more (linens, blankets, pillows, firewood, dishware, cooking equipment, indoor and outdoor seating, etc.). The hosts were communicative and thorough and nothing was an issue or surprise. And the beds were the most comfy! The only consideration is how many people you have and how particular you are about sleeping arrangements, as three beds + sofa sleeper are all in one lofted/communal space (different floors), with one bedroom fully separate in the basement. Not an issue for 4 single adults.

Our family had a mini getaway and it was the perfect spot! The sauna and hot tub were incredible! The kids LOVED the theater room. Such a great place for families. Thank you for being a great host!

Our family of 5 really enjoyed our stay- the house was cozy, comfortable & perfect for our mini family vacation. We especially appreciated the provided baby supplies (like the pack 'n' play, sound machine, & high chair), & our older kids loved the reading nook & porch swing. This is the perfect place for a family looking to explore the quaint town of Pepin & the surrounding charming small towns!

Absolutely loved it! Feels very cozy and peaceful. The view of the lake is great, we saw otters playing on the dock ♥️ very private and quiet, the whole family loved it.

We needed to move vacation houses due to some crazy weather and flooding in the general area. Barrett's place was exactly what we needed. It had plenty of space to walk the dog near the river, the beds were super comfy, the internet was great, and the host was super responsive to my questions!

The lodge was a great place for my large group. There was everything that we needed upon arrival and space for our group to hang out and enjoy each other easily. Living room/dining space was great for watching tv and playing games. Overall a great experience.

This cabin was one of the best, most beautiful homes we’ve rented. The location was great for our needs, and we were also able to visit Mall of America which was not far. The view of the lake is spectacular. Erika is one of the most thoughtful hosts we’ve had the pleasure to meet. The cabin was stocked with everything we needed, and we were able to prepare several homemade dinners at the cabin. We will definitely visit again next time we’re in the area.

Very cozy log cabin with lots of room. Kitchen was well stocked with necessities to make meals and beds were very comfortable. Extremely quiet, secluded getaway for a long family weekend.

Jen and Brett’s place highly exceeded our expectations!!! We came to stay at the cottage as a last minute weekend getaway. The property was spotlessly clean and so comfortable! The hosts were amazing and their dog Fiona adorable. Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!!

Our group of 6 adults absolutely loved staying here over Christmas week while visiting family in the area. The house is beautiful, comfortable, cozy, and quiet. The area is very safe and you can't beat a lake view, even in winter. We found just about everything we needed in the kitchen and appreciated there was lots of space to cook and store food. There were quite a few things to clean before heading out, but we spread it out over the night before we left and morning of, no big deal since we had lots of helpers. We played a couple rounds of cornhole in the garage, which was so fun! We would definitely stay here again!!

Our family had a wonderful Thanksgiving gathering in a beautiful historic home with lake view and comfort. We’re already thinking about this as a location for summer so we can enjoy the other amenities (fire pit, bikes, kayaks…). Great place. Wonderful hosts.

I cannot say enough great things about this home. It was spotless one of the cleanest places we’ve stayed. The beds were all super comfy, we all slept so well. Every detail was covered. The only place we’ve stayed where all of the light switches were labeled. It was so easy to move in and feel at home in a minute. Super cute decorations and homey. Colleen should write a book to other rental homes, she nailed it. The location was perfect, quite at the end of the culdesac, great fire pit, could walk to the winery and so private. I cannot recommend this place enough. We are planning to make this an annual trip, it was one of my favorites.

The photos, description, and reviews of this place do not do it justice. WOW! What a little slice of heaven. My husband and I stayed at this home with our three elementary aged children over a gorgeous fall weekend and it was everything we hoped it would be and more. Jean and Joe did not overlook one detail. The kitchen was brand new, incredibly organized, and spotless. It had everything you could need to cook, grill, or bake meals. The bottled water in the fridge was a very thoughtful touch! The bedrooms were perfect for 2 adults and 3 children. The bathrooms were clean, stocked with towels, and had plenty of everything you’d need. We spent the weekend fishing off the dock (dozens and dozens caught and released 🎣), playing games, and reading books. What a treat! Thanks for sharing this tranquil oasis with us, Jean and Joe! We can’t wait to visit again soon!

My two adult daughters and I were extremely happy with our early-March weekend stay here. Before the trip, Robb responded quickly to my questions and was proactive in communication to prepare for our arrival. He was very helpful in meeting us and showing us the place and thoughtful in every detail. The cabin has a cozy and comfortable layout and decor, and we felt at home playing games, watching movies, reading by the fireplace, and talking while looking out at the lake. We had fun cooking meals, and the whole cabin was clean, beautiful, and had all the supplies we needed to just relax. We liked having the owners nearby but still having our full space and privacy. We would definitely stay here again, and it would also be so nice for a couple to get away to the lake together. This place is good for the soul, and we only wished we were staying a few days longer.

We really enjoyed our stay! Very clean and relaxing and it was exactly as the listing described. Denel was very accommodating and we highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a lake house getaway!
