Really lovely stay with my friend and my dogs. The cottage was so clean and had everything you could need and some. There was a lovely welcome tray, fresh eggs and some milk. Great location and beautiful surroundings.

We used Forge Cottage recently as a base for a girls trip and it was the perfect spot! It's exactly as it looks on the pictures - modern yet comfortable. We loved using the log burner and the hot tub particularly and the hosts had left us with enough fire starters and logs to get both going. The kitchen is well stocked with lots of lots of equipment and there's also plenty of storage for your own food too. The beds & pillows were all really comfy and it super king in the main bedroom felt particularly luxurious. The whole place was spotlessly clean, with dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and detergent provided. We felt at home right away and would love to come back again!

Firstly wow! The area in which this little cottage is set is beautiful, tranquil and private and has an enclosed garden for mine and my sister’s dogs. The welcome hamper was the best we’ve ever had with so many goodies in! Lots of local dog walks around the area and hotel grounds and we even found a waterfall after a heavy rainfall which was a lovely surprise. The cottage was clean and all beds made up, towels were provided too. Log fire and wood fired pizza oven and hot tub were so welcome on a foggy day when we were unable to travel. Wi-Fi was a bit hit and miss but not a real problem. Would definitely recommend to anyone. Only negative was only 2 windows open. We loved the fact we were surrounded by nature and birdsong and would have loved to have the windows open to make the most of this. Wouldn’t put us off going again as there are so many other areas we didn’t get to explore around there.

This is a great place to stay! The open plan living/kitchen/dining is stunning and perfect for relaxing while spending time together. We had 7 adults and 1 child in our group and the accommodation was the perfect size for us (not forgetting the dog, who loved wandering between the snug and the living area while being chased by my son!). The kitchen is really well equipped with a modern range cooker and you could comfortably sit 10 round the dining table, if not a couple more! The bedrooms were great sizes, all en-suite, and the backdrop of the fields and views of the coast were simple stunning. Caroline communicated so well with us, checking in to make sure everything was okay for our stay which, of course, it was! The Cleveland way passes directly in the front of the accommodation, thus giving easy access to a great route with fantastic views. We will be back!

We stayed in the Haycroft cottage for the weekend with friends who were visiting from overseas and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful rural cottage. The cottage is off the beaten track (GPS picks up the postcode easily), therefore was really peaceful and quiet. The added bonus was the hot tub with stunning views of the moors. The cottage is truly a mix of rural with a modern twist with various amenities (dish washer, log burner, dog blankets and towels etc) that made our stay super relaxing and convenient. As soon as we walked into the cottage, we were planning our next stay. Thank you to Amanda & Kelvin for a great stay!

Fabulous cottage in a great location for exploring the Cleveland Way . Mike and Claire are great hosts -very attentive whilst not intrusive. Great hot tub which was lovely to relax in after some fabulous walks. Kitchen is well stocked and everything was spotlessly clean

Lovely, well equipped & very comfortable cottage in a good location for exploring this wonderful area. Very thoughtful amenities were provided and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Would highly recommend.

Great stay here for the week, all as described would stay again

My husband & I spent a few days at Wren's Nest along with our dog. We were very appreciative of the the welcome basket on arrival for us and our dog! My husband was also delighted to see that the hosts had put up a Happy Birthday banner and also left a beautiful sweet treat for us each to celebrate his birthday, this was above and beyond but a lovely kind gesture. The property itself was lovely and comfortable, the quality of fixtures and fittings were of high standard and made the property feel lovely & cosy. The patio area at the back of property was lovely first thing with the sun beaming down and in an evening it was lovely to light the log burner. Wren's Nest is in an excellent location for local shops, bars and restaurants and a short walk takes you to a woodland area where we walked out dog. We visited Whitby, Saltburn and Goathland ( TVs Heartbeat territory) all within a short drive from property.

We had a great time at Jane’s place. The house was comfortable, homely and lovely and clean. We enjoyed trips out to Staithes and Whitby, both worth a visit. Thanks Jane for being a lovely host.

We’ve stayed in lots of cottages around Staithes and this one is wonderful. Really spacious which you don’t tend to get and lovely and quiet whilst still being super close to the village. Really high end place with lovely touches

Wish we could have stayed longer - lots of interesting things to look at in the property. Beds are comfortable - slept well. Communication with Scott was good. Would definitely stay again!

We loved Griff cottage. It was really clean and tidy. The bedrooms were light and airy with good quality bed linens and towels. The kitchen was really spacious with plenty of crockery and glasses. There were useful things like foil and cling film. The lounge was comfy with a lovely gas fire that looked like a log burner. There was every provision for our dogs with throws provided and a dog shower if needed. The beach was fantastic for the dogs with miles of sand. The cottage is really well situated for visiting coastal towns and villages such as Staithes, Saltburn and Whitby. We used the local buses which stop in the village or at the top of the road. Many thanks for our welcome gifts especially the cake. Griff cottage was a great find

The cottage is in a wonderful location, a mere 30 second walk from peaceful Marske beach. Saltburn just a walk right down the beach. Beach lovey and Sandy and dog friendly. The cottage was cosy, had everything we needed and we were very grateful for the dog amenities left for us (and the goodies for the humans too of course). The cottage is as described, and Darren was responsive to communicate with and helped us with some local dog friendly recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and much appreciated down time at the cottage.

The cottage is absolutely gorgeous. Spacious, comfortable and really well equipped. Everything was good quality. The use of a parking space close to the cottage was well worth the extra cost. The walk up to the public car park at the top of the hill is to be avoided if possible! The location is perfect. The beach and harbour are beautiful and Staithes is well placed for exploring the area. Whitby is amazing. We went to the Goth weekend festival which was BONKERS! Really good fun and a great friendly atmosphere. We had a really great holiday and would definitely like to return one day. Thank you Maureen!

We had a great stay at the start of February half term. A lovely cosy hideaway, perfect for beach walks, pub meals, afternoon pints, and cafe lunches. The house itself has everything you might need to including a very well equipped kitchen. Would definitely recommend.

What a little gem! We only booked the day before we arrived and we have had the best few days as a family, the location is absolutely perfect! Opposite a lovely pub which we had drinks in 1 night and then ate in the following night and it was delicious! The beach is 2 mins away and lovely for kids and dogs to play on, cottage is so well equipped….the game drawers were a hit with our children. Lovely little place and would definitely return…thank you x

Pauline’s cottage was perfect for our mini break. We are a family of five and we had plenty of room. A lovely retreat to get cosy after exploring the beautiful surrounding coastline. Would recommend

what a beautiful place. Its difficult to express how wonderful the garden is at Prospect Cottage, so many levels and so pretty! The cottage is charming, so clean and comfortable. We loved our stay and will definitely return. So much to explore in this beautiful part of the world.

As a family we absolutely loved staying at North Lea cottage for 3 nights. The balcony to enjoy the tide coming in & out was a real hit with my parents. Its set in a beautiful spot. The cottage had lots of space for us all. The Cobbles did lovely hot chocolate & take away pizzas. We really enjoyed the meals at The Royal George. Staithes is a beautiful picturesque seaside town and we will definitely be back. Thanks Bianca for being so helpful.
