Beautiful house in a lovely location views are fabulous. It had everything we needed, everything was perfect. We’ll definitely be back. Loved every minute.

School House is a lovely place to stay. Extremely clean and easy to get to. Penny is very friendly and has excellent local knowledge. She goes well above and beyond what you might expect from a host. it was a very welcome surprise to have scones with jam and cream waiting for us,for instance. Overall, a very highly recommended place to stay. We shall return.

We stayed at Swang cottage for Christmas. It was everything we hoped for and more. Rosie was always on hand to help and checked in with us to make sure we were OK. The cottage itself was beautiful inside and out. We fell in love with the log fire. The senary was stunning and was exactly what we wanted for Christmas. The amenities were as described and we had no problem cooking our Christmas dinner. It is a short 10 min walk to the local shop which have any basics you may of forgotten. We also enjoyed the added bonus of the hotub, which was relaxing in evening after a busy day. We will definitely be returning maybe in the summer time to enjoy a different time of year. Thank you Rosie for opening your cottage up to us and giving us a Christmas to remember

We have just returned from an amazing weekend at 2 Browcote Cottages, Ravenscar. The scenery that surrounds the cottages is breathtaking and is perfect for those looking for a peaceful, relaxing get away. The cottage is small but perfectly formed and is spotless! I don't think we've been anywhere so clean. The kitchen is well stocked with utensils and everything in the cottage is of a high standard and well thought out. David and Monika were on hand to land a hand if necessary (such as towing us out of mud!) but were also discreet during our stay. Our party consisted of two adults, a 13 year old (good Wifi so he was happy!) and our dog, and everyone enjoyed themselves. We would highly recommend Browcote Cottages, and we will certainly be returning.

wonderful cottage in lovely location. local pub a couple of doors up and fish and chip shop close. beautiful decor and loved the sea theme. would highly recommend bus service into whitby was great.

Came to visit family, perfect location, shops within walking distance, house was spotless and beds were extremely comfortable, just what was needed after a long journey, house had everything we needed along with some extras ! Breakfast items were a lovely surprise, great value for money and would definitely book again

My mother and I had a wonderful stay at High Farm. Our dogs really enjoyed their stay too. Its in a beautiful location peaceful and the dog paddock is an added bonus. Very dog friendly ,Heidi and Robin have been lovely hosts and veey responsive to any queries. We will be back and will be recommending to friends and family.

We had a wonderful stay in tree tops with Lorraine, so quiet & peaceful! There’s is nothing more yo say than it was wonderful and we shall certainly be going back again. Thank you Lorraine for a lovely holiday.

We had the absolute best time here. Helen & James were lovely hosts, and so thoughtful with all the details. It’s a beautiful place nested in nature & we didn’t want to leave! We loved the sauna option, the fireplace, the record player, the donkeys that greeted us & just the whole cabin set up. Will definitely be back at some point!

Lorraine’s Log cabins are absolutely fantastic. Peaceful and idyllic. Any one who’s looking for a retreat from the business of life then look no further. The cabins themselves are immaculate. The location is perfect, we did a couple of walks (directions and ideas for walks were in a folder in the cabin) It was nice to visit Whitby then retreat back up to the cabins to the peace and quiet. Lorraine is a brilliant host who makes you feel instantly welcomed and at home on your arrival. We can’t wait to come back.

A huge thank you for making my mothers 60th something to remember. It was a beautiful spot and Lorraine went above and beyond to accommodate. A+++
