This was a well decorated and well appointed cottage which met our needs perfectly. Location is great for exploring Whitby and the surrounding area. Quiet and tranquil riverside location.

Was fortunate to stay over new year . The location was perfect , had a lovely walk over the viaduct. Whitby is so assessable. The cottage is perfect if you just need somewhere to sleep . It was comfortable & clean. Shame it wasn’t a smart tv as we forgot our fire stick although it was advised to bring one . Thank you for a lovely stay & we would definitely return.

Had a wonderful stay with my family and dog. Very peaceful location. Accommodation was as described and very comfortable. Everything you need for a home from home stay. Would have been nice to have had a heads up re: building works. Didn’t spoil our visit too much though. Beautiful location for walks, the beach and Sandsend. Wonderful food at the Fish cottage and The Hart Inn. Dogs are welcome at both. Peter has been a very good and responsive host. Would recommend. Sue

Great and friendly host

Great location - had an event at the sports village so within walking distance. Was easy to find and the instructions on how to get in were clear. Lovely area and quiet at night time. Flat was clean and had all the basic things you could need. Parking is limited though and although it is stated the flat has its own parking space - someone was parked in it (obviously not the owners fault!). Would absolutely stay again.

This was the perfect place for us to stay for our little getaway to Whitby. It's only a 5 minute drive from the harbour. The surroundings are peaceful and the outdoor spaces for children were ideal for our three year old. The property itself was excellent. We felt right at home straight away. It was well stocked with everything you need and expect from a self catered property with a few little extra bits like snacks & body wash on arrival (which I forgot to bring so a good addition!) The onsite pool was excellent and great value. If we ever return to Whitby we would strongly consider staying here again. John and co-host Rachel were friendly and very responsive to any messages we sent. We highly recommend staying here if you wish to visit Whitby and the surrounding areas.

Toms place is a really nice house, modern interior and lots of space. Clean, tidy and very comfortable. Was perfectly located for the purpose of our visit. Would definitely stay again. Thanks for a hassle free and enjoyable stay. Kind regards, Scott

Abbey Hill Cottages to high above W. Hartlepool. They are well equipped.Beds are comfortable and so is sitting room furniture. Plenty of hot water. Good shower.Lots of space. I would stay again.

A beautiful home with amazing history in the heart of Yarm town. The pictures don’t even give it justice. Every corner is an art piece. Elisa and Chris made our stay easy and relaxing, loads of things to keep kids entertained, lovely kitchen and wonderful coffee, the bids are one of the best we tried in Airbnb. They proactively suggested things to do around and always easy to reach out to for anything. Lots of things to do around in Yarm and the greater Teesside area.

Lilac Cottage, hosted by Jane's was literally a dream for me! I stayed for a little over a month and got exactly what I needed plus so much more. The decor is better than the pictures. Its cozy, charming and full of character. A book lovers a dream with lots of local information and hiking guides as well..perfectly located to be able to explore the northern area of the country and still go back to a cottage all your own in a small village. The cottage is fully equipped with all one would need. Jane was truly a pleasure and am I am so happy we got to meet and sorry we didn't see more of each other! Lilac cottage has a place in my heart 💜

second time staying at Adams place and yet again did not disappoint,spotlessly clean,everything we needed,such a homely cosy cottage we will definitely be booking again
