We spent a few days with extended family. We all had a very enjoyable experience and the dogs did too. It was great that they were able to accommodate all (9) comfortably. We went during February and we all think it would be great to go back in the Summer to enjoy all the trails and fun things to do outdoors. The decor was super fun and whimsical.

Loved staying at this airbnb! The view was beautiful, pictures don’t do it justice. The amenities are amazing, loved watching a scary movie on the projector outside at night when it was raining. They had electrical heaters, a fire pit, and a roof that helped us stay cozy and still enjoy the outdoors regardless of weather! 10/10 recommend!

This place is awesome! We had a big group with half kids half adults and everyone had their own space to hang out. The amenities were great!

I have never been excited to write a review before but here it goes, this place was magnificent! A beautiful cabin setting overlooking the sacramento arm of lake Shasta with a private dock, kayaks and life vests to use free of charge, this place must be on some kind of energetic lay line because the vibe was so good! I would definitely come back, also I recommend this place to anyone looking for a getaway for sure!

Scott and Julie have such a wonder property with multiple cottages of all sizes of group, which they have painstakingly maintained for multiple years. Scott I hom I interfaced with multiple times since the time I initially booked my cottage in February of 2023 had been super nice and helpful in multiple times addressing our request to change our reservation as after 4 hops in calendar time across March, June, July we finally made it in September and as a last minute curve ball I asked him to swap us to a larger cottage a day before heading to Lakehead and he was more than happy to accommodate. The hospitality and care showcased by him and Julie was none above anyone I have ever stayed at AirBnB at. The cottage was a lovely 2 bedroom cabin overlooking a quite calm end of lake shasta and was nicely tugged at the back of the property. This place is awesome and gawking at the night sky and then enjoy the deer walk by the property in the early hours of the morning was breathtaking. ❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️🙏😊

I’m very happy I decided to go with this stay. I will definitely come back if I’m ever in the area again. Everything was as presented online and much cozier and cuter cabin in person. Thank you

Great stay, amazing location, spotless, and cozy

The cabin was amazing. It was everything we needed for a quick trip getaway to the caverns. The location was perfect and the amenities were wonderful. The hosts were super friendly and even offered us a coupon for the caverns. There was a wedding that was going on and the hosts let us know the music would be going late. It was fun and the noise ended earlier then what the expected time was given. We had a wonderful time with our family of four and look forward to staying at the cabin again one day. Thank you for a lovely experience!

A well priced, peaceful cabin in the woods, just on the banks of the lake. Two decent sized bedrooms and a good shower room. Lots of extras provided in the kitchen which was very welcome. The host was very flexible when we had to turn up slightly later than initially expected. WiFi and signal here slightly patchy but overall a very good stay!

This cabin is so cute and cozy and the bed and soaking tub are amazing! This was the second time my husband and I stayed here and it was the perfect place to spend the night after a long day of driving. Julie was super responsive, accommodating and kind. Would love to spend longer than one night one day!

We stayed here for 1 day and the stay was comfortable. We are all so satisfied. The best part is it is pet-friendly. Location: It is very peaceful, and the lake view from the deck is beautiful. There is no disturbance at all. We saw fall colors here the road is so beautiful. The best part is this place has a doc at the lake. You can go and do kayak. It is free and we had super fun at the dock. House and Amenities: The stay was good, neat, and clean. Cons: There is no dishwasher (however, the host asked us not to do dishes when we were checking out) but we were already done by then. In the washroom, there is no exhaust fan. And the bathtub makes a lot of noise if we stand and move while taking a bath. The wifi is poor. Apart from that I didn't see any problems in the house. The hosts are very proactive and responsive. We asked for early check-in they accepted. Our Pets are very happy and they feel comfortable. We will visit again and stay for a few days.

The hosts were diligent in making sure we had what we needed, from directions to the location, words of advice and check in instructions - we felt comfortable arriving at the location despite the remote nature (which we wanted). The place was very well stocked despite being so cozy - much better than 90% of larger and more centrally located rentals we’ve stayed at and that was the best part - we had everything we needed. Our favorite was the record player and exploring old records instead of tv/phone usage. Will definitely recommend this to friends!
