We had a lovely stay in this fantastic house. Plenty of space for a group of us and lots of fun with the activities, such as table tennis and tennis. I can imagine a stay when the swimming pool is available would be terrific. The house was comfortable and warm and very well equipped. A peaceful country village location and a short drive to Thornbury. The owner was very friendly, helpful and welcoming, and always quick to respond to any queries. Hopefully we'll get a chance to visit again sometime. Thank you.

Such a great property. The house itself is very nice, spacious and thoughtfully put together. The pool, sauna and sauna are amazing. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had a fabulous stay at Lois’ for a weekend friends reunion. Lois and Paul were welcoming and took the time to talk us through local information. The house had more sleeping areas than we’d realised, which was great. We used the pool and were delighted to find Lois had left us an array of treats in the kitchen. Thank you for having us, I am sure we’ll be back to this fab location.

We had a wonderful stay at Joan and Mike's barn - such a brilliant location looking out over stunning views, and the barn has been converted perfectly to take this all in. We stayed in January, and it was so comfortable and cosy (the underfloor heating is a dream!). Joan was really helpful with our planning for the trip. Would highly recommend.

This is a wonderful house, full of character and in a brilliant location. We have been to Freshford several times and love it. It was especially great to be near the train station this time and we enjoyed the convenience of getting in easily to Bath city centre. The house is comfortable and warm, really well equipped with everything you need. Highly recommend this place and hope to return in the warmer weather when we can use the pool! There are loads of fabulous walks around and also the Freshford Inn serves a great Sunday lunch.

We had an a amazing stay. The home was so comfortable. I was visiting with 7 friends so they set all the room as single beds which was perfect for us. The pool was so nice and we enjoyed an evening swim while watching movies on the projector. The area is so peaceful and there are some lovely pubs nearby such as the litton. I would love to visit again!

We stayed at Emma's house for a family weekend, it was perfect. The kids loved the pool, the tennis court was really fun, the house was spacious and beautiful. Emma was really helpful. the beds were comfy, the kitchen was fabulous. Thanks so much for a perfect weekend.

Robs communication was great. Really helpful info given to us prior to arrival meaning we did not need to ask any questions while staying at the property. The property itself is lovely, lots of little touches throughout and everyone was really impressed. The swimming pool is a lovely addition to the property which we used one of the mornings and the hottub was very much utilised. Would absolutely recommend staying here and we will definitely be back! Thank you :-)

Very clean and private space with great hosts. It’s always a pleasure staying at Jon’s listing. It’s definitely my number 1 preferred place to stay when I’m in Bristol.

We were very satisfied with our stay at Pearl's. On arrival a couple of the lights were not working but when contacted the matter was quickly resolved. The property was an excellent choice for a family gathering and to explore the local area. Would not hesitate to recommend.

Can't recommend this place enough. Great host and great location. Felt at home straight away. Will definitely try and book again next time we're in Bath.

We stayed for 2 nights with 5 couples and 2 dogs. The kitchen was very well stocked with everything we needed to cook with. The place was full of character, comfortable and warm. Samantha was very helpful, kind and proactive and always quick to respond. we all had a fabulous stay.

Wonderful house, with AMAZING views. Just got back from a few nights stay over New Year period with our young family, and the property was perfect. Great location to pop into Bath, nice walks nearby too. Andrew and Emily are wonderful hosts and their communication was always super fast and helpful. Will definitely be back!

Anthony was super friendly, highly responsive and communicated well. He even put up some Christmas decorations for us. The property was spotlessly clean, extremely well equipped, well maintained, comfortable, had a great shower and was well located, with private parking. We wouldn't hesitate to stay there again. Had a really enjoyable two night stay at this cosy, clean and modern house. It's in a great location, being walking distance from the centre of town and free on street parking was a bonus. Chris is a brilliant and really responsive host, giving clear instructions beforehand and staying in touch throughout. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a good quality and reasonably priced place to stay in Newport.

Roz was a fantastic host, and extremely helpful. The house was great, perfect for our stay and looked exactly as the photos showed. Super clean and had everything we needed. Great location within Portishead and would 100% recommend staying here. We hope to come back soon!

Really convenient location for us as our daughter lives nearby. It is tucked away behind the main shopping street. The house was very clean. Bedroom quote tight but perfectly adequate. Loads of space downstairs

I stayed at Chris’s for a weekend with my husband, son and dog and had a great time. Chris was super helpful from the time we booked and provided lots of helpful recommendations so I could book restaurants etc in advance. The house was warm and cosy we when arrived, with supplies in the fridge waiting for us which was a lovely touch as we arrived late at night. Everything was spotlessly clean and the house is well equipped with all you need for your stay. Chris let us have a slightly later checkout on our last day which was great as we had a little lie in after my husband’s birthday. We had our car so there was no issue in getting around but am not sure how easy that would be on public transport. It was a very quick drive into Bath though. I would definitely recommend and would stay here again.
