Julie's place was perfect for a fall break getaway with my husband. The cottage was well furnished, super clean, and very comfortable. I hadn't realized from the photos just how close the lake is to the house! We spent a lot of time sitting out on the back porch enjoying the amazing view of the lake. We also appreciated the proximity to Ann Arbor for restaurants and all of the wonderful parks in the area for biking and walking. We'd definitely go back!

We loved everything about Catherine’s home! Very nice, clean, spacious and great location! Catherine was the perfect host! We have family that live near by so very thankful to have found Catherine’s home! We will definitely be hoping it is available the next time we are here! Paula

Amazing cottage on the lake, super clean, comfortable and cozy. Kitchen stocked with anything you need. Nancy was an amazing host, great communication and very accommodating, even shoveled and salted the walkway when it snowed!! Beautiful country setting complete with occasional deer and wild turkeys crossing the driveway and geese flying overhead, sunsets over the lake.

We stayed during the time between winter & spring, where weather is hit-or-miss, but we were still able to enjoy the huge patio and the lake-front yard 2 of the 4 nights! The kids found some fun lawn toys to keep entertained. House faces West over the lake—sunsets were amazing! We found the neighborhood perfect for walking around and the kids loved the bridge over the “river” (drainage ditch?) with lots of ducks, a public playground, and a small beach (private for the residents). All within a 2-5 minute walk. The owner also has the property next door so it was nice to run into him and ask for dinner recommendations (great Italian spot 5min walk). And lastly, we were pleased to see some new/updated furniture—the listing photos might not be up-to-date, so it may be better than you expected!

What a wonderful, spacious place! I stayed for over two weeks and felt right at home. They thought of everything. Scott and Mia are so friendly and caring, and respected our privacy. An absolutely beautiful lake, with walking trails. We saw a group of deer many days, which was great. I couldn't be happier!

This was definitely home away from home! The area was very peaceful with beautiful views, we had everything we needed and is perfect if you have children! Plenty to keep the kiddos busy and having fun while you enjoy your time too. It was hard to leave! 10/10 recommend staying here with family!

Absolutely perfect place for our relaxing long weekend. The cottage was beautifully appointed with everything we needed to cook our own meals (which we prefer) and spend lazy days looking out over the lake or soaking in the hot tub. Quiet, friendly neighborhood that was reasonably close to town when we needed supplies. Kind and very responsive host. Highly recommend!

This location was exactly what we hoped; spacious rooms, comfy beds, easy to use hot tub, and perfect location. 10/10; Will stay again!

Absolutely beautiful 180 degree lake view home. Top notch host, added extra touches to insure an excellent stay! Really enjoyed the home, we found it very serene and relaxing to watch the shimmering sun and visiting swans on the water. The home is very clean and well stocked with everything we needed to make our stay perfect! We hope to return for another stay at this wonderful lake front gem!
