Great place to stay, very quiet and relaxing.

We were delighted to have such a peaceful and private place to rest. Kirill had everything you needed to feel at home. We definately will come again.

Great beachside house, close to the water. it's the first house on the street and almost as close as you can get to the beach. It's a 5 minute walk and is fairly flat. The amenities are great, the house has all the basics plus more. lots of space for an extended family and is child friendly. The house is set over 3 levels with with a self contained 1 bedroom apartment on the lower level amd the main family area on the top. The location is great, an easy walk to a great cafe and playground. No neighbours to look on to, all other houses are set behind.

We loved our stay at Frenchman's Folly. The cottage is homely, comfortable and very well equipped. It is fully fenced and is very well located at Point Lookout: close to beaches, shops, cafes and the pub. Lots of wallabies and birds to observe and wonderful walks to be had. There's a decent bus service, so with or without a car is fine. Linda is a great host too!

Absolutely amazing to be right on the water, watching the tide come in & go out, seeing boats & yachts passing by. Peaceful, bushy surrounds blissfully listening to bird life. Clean & comfortable furnishings, & has everything needed (& more) in the kitchen & other living areas both inside & out. Peter & Raisa were communicative, helpful, responsive & lovely hosts. It was great to get out & explore the island with lots of hidden gems, fishing spots, & friendly locals. Catching mud crabs was a bonus with the supplied crab pots. Yum! Great house & location, would definitely stay again & recommend to others.

Had a wonderful stay, great area, Rene was available for all questions, quick response to calls. He was a lovely host and supplied some food essentials to make you feel at home. He walked us through and showed us what was where, and helped set the TV for us useless tech ladies! Thanks Rene. We even had a visit from a cute fur baby, fluffy cat.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stuart's Eclectic home. When we arrived we were greeted by a kangaroo in the back yard and had multiple bouncy visitors throughout our stay, as well as some beautiful kookaburras and curlews. It's so close to all the beaches and shops and walking trails, we walked or rode our bikes predominantly. Had a heatwave while we were there so the house was warm in the upstairs living areas in the afternoon as others have mentioned. A great comfortable beach shack and a lovely way to experience the beauty of what Stradbroke Island has on offer.

We enjoyed a lovely few days over Christmas at Helen's place. The unit had everything we needed and was very well-equipped and maintained. The setting is quiet and peaceful, with a choice of beaches only minutes away. We are already missing the ocean and beach view from the verandah. Helen is a very helpful and friendly host who, with her lovely family, made us feel welcome and comfortable from when we first arrived and throughout our stay.

1min walk to the most beautiful beaches on the planet. The apartment is very small with basic amenities. I think the description accurately reflects this! The communication and check-in were very easy. Thank you

We had a lovely girls weekend here. The accomodation was just perfect, particularly the ability to socialise comfortably on the super comfy lounge and the outdoor patio with a great view. The place was spotless and the residents in the complex were all so lovely. Pool was a bonus too. 100% recommend!

Great place, in a great location with an incredible view of Moreton Bay. Sharon was amazing to share with and very friendly and informative of the area and things to do in the area. I would stay again.

Beautiful view of the ocean and beach. We were two couples and there was plenty of room. Quite pricey, but an enjoyable stay and the pool was great for a cooling off dip. Very clean and modern. Lovely cool wind off the ocean at night. The bedrooms are upstairs, so don’t book if stairs are an issue.

Great studio apartment on the top floor. Spotlessly clean with all required amenities for a peaceful break. Alessia was very responsive when we had a problem with the supplied wifi password. Wifi was fast which is not always the case.

Lovely room in a beautiful part of the island. David was very friendly and helpful, and gave us plenty of suggestions of places to eat and things to do. Would definitely come again. Thanks David!

The location was perfect with cafes supermarkets and the waterfront all within walking distance. Sitting on the balcony looking at the water was wonderful. Thank you Ben

Absolutely fantastic views and fishing.. older place but comfortable enough. A very relaxing stay... almost an oasis. Awesome private jetty with plenty of fish and beautiful blue water. Relax under the palms or play ping pong while fishing. Dave is very responsive and locals very friendly. Hopefully we can stay again 😊

We had an amazing stay at Andrea’s place! The view was absolutely stunning, even better than the photos. The house was well-equipped with everything we needed, and we had a fantastic time kayaking and swimming. Though getting there took about an hour by ferry (Redland to Russell if you have car), it was totally worth it for the beauty and peace. The sunrise was magical, and the whole atmosphere felt like paradise. Andrea was responsive, and the place was spotless. We’ll definitely be back!

The staff at SSR were very friendly and made check-in fast and easy. The house was very clean and spacious and has everything you need. Exceptional water views and great fishing from the backyard. Large upper deck and waterfront shack were amazing, especially at sunset. Just like the photos. Highly recommend.

Patrick was easy to deal with. He was friendly, informative and very clear with details needed. Patrick was also considerate in offerring to change bedroom configurations to suit our needs and also pre-empted us with an offer for us to extend our stay, if needed. Highly recommend.
