Recently stayed here for a getaway from the city and, wow this place was great! It was just an 1 hour away, so even though there was a snow storm, getting there was no problem. The cottage was great, a great view of the lake, quality appliances in the kitchen, fully stocked kitchen (we had zero issues with cooking), clean and showers with enough hot water, and a great hot tub. It's rare to find a cottage where there were no issues with anything but this one is definitely one of the rare ones. I would definitely book this again. Weiqi and Shuyan were great hosts. They provided clear and easy instructions for check in, as well as instructions on how to use all the amenities for the cottage. They were also super responsive to the questions and requests we had. A++

Michelle was amazing to work with!Extremely responsive and flexible when we had to slightly alter our reservation due to extreme weather. The house was great for our group! It was equip with everything we needed for our stay and in a great location. We cannot wait to come back!

Our family has rented via Air BNB for the past 10 years. This home was exactly as described. A lovely big space for 14 people. All of the amenities and then some. There were even dishes and cutlery for babies/toddlers. The kitchen is well stocked with every dish/pot/utensil you might need. We had no issues during our stay but I have no doubt that it would have been addressed immediately. Large yard for games and running around and a beautiful outdoor living space. Jim greeted us in person upon check in and showed us around. It was a very nice touch. This home is very close to Uxbridge which is perfect for picking up any necessities. We definately recommend the Stone House and we are so glad we found this place.

We had a fantastic stay and totally recommend! It was amazing being next to the lake in the middle of winter with everything snowy and frozen and would love to come back in the summer too. The spa was wonderful. Excellent communication throughout the whole stay. Nothing was ever too much trouble. Thankyou so much for a great and memorable holiday!

Kate’s place was great! Matched exactly what was advertised. There was so much to do within just the house itself, tonnes of board games, hot tub, sauna, pool and bbq. She was super responsive when we messaged her throughout our stay as well. 5/5! Thanks for hosting us Kate, what a great place you have!

The house looks exactly like it does in the pictures (I’d even say it’s even more beautiful). It’s perfect for sharing with friends, as it has plenty of spaces to gather. The area where the house is located is amazing—just a few blocks from many shops and only one block from the lake.

Had a great time at this place. The place had plenty of room for the 6 of us that came and all the amenities we needed. The host was very helpful to us during the stay. Would stay again!

Natalie’s cabin is the perfect escape from the city. The best part about it is you aren’t driving hours to get there it’s convenient but also just so relaxing and gorgeous! The nature there was exquisite and the land itself is surreal. The place is so clean, spacious, quiet! Natalie has a gorgeous little pond with a dock just perfect to enjoy some wine or your morning coffee. The firepit was so much fun at night with some s’mores. The bbq was well kept! The land is just picturesque. My (then) boyfriend proposed to me on Natalie’s dock and it was just truly magical. I would recommend this property to anyone I could! 5/5 will go back again!

Great set up for a cottage hang, pool table, volleyball court, arcade game, fire pit and a bunch of great short hikes within a 15-20 minute drive.

Was as described. only issue was broken towel rail that had previously been repaired.scratch on furniture I took photos and sent. Had trouble with main TV. could not get to work right. would start on wrong HDMI and could not get to change HDMI. Tried to cast to TV but only casts to bedroom.

My family quite liked our stay here. Felt comfort able right away, host was easy to reach. So most of restaurants and beach entrance for visitors found to be within walking distance. Cottage is just the right size but the porch is where we spent most of our time. Firepit was a nice touch to its already beautiful yard space. Thank you for having us!

Very responsive and helpful host and accommodating with requests specifically after a winter storm

This cottage is Homie, my family and I love the moment we drive in and walk in. It exceeds all the cottages I’ve been. I have a habit of inviting friends to feel free and visit us. Because we are a family of 3 and both my husband and son are quiet person. But I will tell them I will send you the address once I see the place. So far for the last ten years. That we’ve been renting cottage this is the first time I forget to send the address because we got busy right away because the beach is five minutes walk. And it’s the very first beach I’ve seen that is really clean. When you grew up in tropical country I think it’s normal to have a very high standard when it comes to beach. I didn’t even have to unload most of the stuff I brought because everything is already there. The kitchen is complete. All the bed are made with clean and new beddings. Centralized air condition feels home. Did I mention theres even veggies in the garden that we got to harvest and cook. Wait I have more to say😂😂

The weekend my girlfriends and I spent in The Gingerbread House could not have been more perfect and memorable. The home itself was even more beautiful in person than the pictures. Meeting Michael and Simon was an absolute pleasure. They could easily write a book on how to be the perfect host. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

The cottage was exactly as described and looked liked the pictures. Great aesthetic and decor with clean rooms. Beautiful outdoor space right by the water and a nice fire pit area. Anh was also very flexible and generous with the checkout time. We had a wonderful stay at this cottage, highly recommended and would definitely come back!

Beautiful cottage and wonderful location! It feels just like home. We really enjoyed our stay from the cozy living room and beautiful front porch to the spacious backyard!! It was perfect for our girls trip! The place had everything we could possibly need and any questions we had were answered quickly! The private beach and lake access were a short walk from the house and we had a wonderful time enjoying the water! The cottage is located in a wonderful neighborhood. The neighbors were so friendly and welcoming which was an added bonus!!

We enjoyed staying in this cottage! It was rustic and we felt right at home. The home had everything we needed. Lots of seating and tables for meals and many couches for groups to get comfortable on. The home felt spacious, and we enjoyed spending time on the yard which was nice, quiet and green! The beds were comfy as well. We were a 10 minute walk to the beach (Willow Beach), and a 10 minute walk to a local store that had excellent frozen yogurt and would BBQ great hot dogs and sausages! We took beautiful walks along the waterfront - such pretty properties and was very peaceful. We were a 5-10 minute drive into town (Jackson's Point, Sutton)- where there was everything one would need (grocery stores, Tim Hortons, LCBO, and excellent restaurants). Thank you!
