Shirley a vraiment été une super hôte! Elle avait partie un petit feu de foyer pour nous avant que l’on arrivent. Elle nous a laissé des condiments, café et bouteille de vin 😇quelle belle attention! Nous recommandons sans hésitation, s’était mieux que sur les photos! Mon conjoint et ses employés on passé une agréable soirée, dans un décor féerique! Merci Shirley

We had the best fall weekend at Bongopix! We arrived after dark but the space heaters were already going so the cabin was nice and toasty when we got in. The cabin was exactly as described, was very cozy and filled with all sorts of fun nostalgia. Waking up and watching the mist on the river in the mornings was so nice and peaceful. The cabin is only a 5 minute drive from Algonquin and walking distance to restaurants which was so convenient. They also have a wide selection of movies and games and Bongo even brought us some specific SNES games we were looking for! We really loved our stay and are already planning on staying here again next fall!

Brianna and Devin were amazing hosts to have. They came and greeted us a few minutes after we arrived and showed us how everything worked. The place was lovely, cozy and private. The hot tub was ready for use and clean as well. Would definitely come back again ! Highly recommend.

Josh and Alyssa are great hosts. They are friendly and responsive, and made our stay easy and enjoyable. Their place is set up well, with lots of things to do inside and out. Not to mention, their rates are very reasonable. I would recommend staying with them.

This is the nicest Airbnb I've stayed at in years. Alain & Paola are one of the few remaining hosts that care about the small details and personalized touch. The place was super clean, and I'm someone with high standards. The personalized message, guestbook and coffee, tea etc. I was very happy I could being my dog as well! She loved the outdoor space to run around. I'd stay there again!

Chantyle's cottage was a great find for our family. While it was basic and nothing fancy but that is just what our family loves. We basically only need a spot to sleep and cook, other then that we are outside enjoying the nature we are surrounded by, and this spot was perfect The beach was perfect for swimming, crystal clear, and shallow so the kids could walk out for quite some distance. On top of the beautiful area and comfortable rustic cabin we were greeted by a very friendly, accommodating, and very helpful campground manager Phil and his wife Tanya. Helped us with things we needed right away and gave us suggestions on places to check out that our kids ended up loving....overall amazing experience thanks for having our family stay it was a great location and great place. friendly seasonal campers as well. our family will definitely be back ?

I would come back here with friends and family for a getaway or special celebration any day! They know what you want to have fun and relax, and the set up makes it easy to slip right into vaycay mode - with a view to boot! But that sandy walk out to the river with the bright view from inside - beautiful. Thank you!

Our stay at the cabin on Golden Lake was absolutely perfect! As always, we were warmly greeted by Cindy, whose friendly smile and attentive care make every visit feel extra special. The cabin was already warm upon arrival, and its cozy ambiance welcomed us for a relaxing weekend getaway. We were delighted to find delicious Lindor chocolates waiting for us—a sweet and thoughtful touch! The log cabin itself is absolutely charming, with its 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the cabin was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The terrace offers stunning views of Golden Lake, where you can enjoy ice fishing or skating right outside your door. Plus, we discovered an incredible skating trail in the nearby woods—an absolute must-try for outdoor enthusiasts. We can’t wait to come back again. Thank you, Cindy and Desmond for making this another unforgettable experience

Our family had a wonderful stay. The stunning views are even better than the pictures. The kids loved both the outdoor and indoor activities, with canoeing and local attractions being the highlights for us. Hosts Cindy and Mike were extremely helpful, offering excellent recommendations and exceeding our expectations. The place had a welcoming vibe. Highly recommended—a hidden gem.

Le chalet de Cindy était parfait pour un couple ! Les grandes fenêtres nous ont permis de contempler la vue incroyable sur le lac. Cindy était très gentille et facile à joindre. Nous avons d'ailleurs pu lui emprunter des crampons pour la randonnée et nous aurions également pu emprunter des patins à glace et des raquettes.

The sweetest cabin in a fantastic location. Super clean. Cozy bed. Honestly a total gem. Couldn’t recommend more.

It was an awesome fall staycation for us, looking forward to enjoy this beauty in summer.

What an incredible experience. From the start, Lorne was so friendly and patient, showing us how to use all of the equipment. The fire burning hot tub and sauna were so relaxing (and HOT), the natural pool had been used as a cold plunge, Lorne had a safety rope attached to ensure guests had a way to get in and out with the snow/ice this time of year. I can only imagine how lovely this spot would be in the warmer months. The drive back to the dome was pretty muddy, we luckily brought our truck with 4WD, but I feel a smaller sedan may have had some issues getting back there. All of our fires went out overnight, but upon reaching out to Lorne, he came right away to give us a hand and was extremely accommodating with check out. Dome had everything we needed even a portable speaker and robes to use during our stay. If you are looking for a one of a kind experience to be one with nature but still feeling pampered, this is the perfect spot :)

Do not hesitate to book this stunning cottage, this is the perfect place for a family-friends reunion :) Kids friendly, spacious, comfortable, bright, perfectly equipped kitchen, stunning view, it has it all ! Laura is an amazing host, very responsive and helpful. We are already looking forward to book it again !!

Nancy's place was absolutely wonderful for our little fall vacation! the views were stunning. The big windows in the living room and bedroom were amazing for looking out over the water to the beautiful fall colours. We did the hike at Deacon's and it was gorgeous too. Thank you for the recommendation! The beach is lovely - I put my feet in. I think it would be great for a swim in the summer! Nancy was very quick to respond and helped us with anything we needed. thanks again for an amazing weekend!

We had an enjoyable Thanksgiving. The house is spacious and clean, with a workable kitchen. The backyard is big in size and has lots of activities.

This property was a perfect for a weekend getaway with family. It was conveniently located near the local ski hill with a small grocery store, gas station and LCBO just steps away. The local snow removal service kept our driveway clear during this very snowy weekend. The property was immaculate, with plenty of space for our group of nine, with five kids.

Jennifer’s place was great! Beautiful location, private island all to ourselves. Boating over was easy peasy. We spent lots of time on the deck at the water and there are so many places to sit and relax both inside and out. We had a bonfire one night and played games the other nights. Overall a great experience. 😍

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Cedar Canoe Cottage! The cottage itself was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The lake was beautiful and we enjoyed exploring on the kayaks, paddle board and canoe.

Le séjour s’est extrêmement bien déroulé. Attention toutefois à bien programmer son GPS à l’avance pour ne pas se retrouver perdu sur la route, sans réseau ! D’ailleurs, les hôtes vous le feront savoir et vous recommanderont de faire vos emplettes avant de venir, car c’est littéralement « perdu » avec les premières villes à 30mn de route. C’est absolument parfait : loin de tout, calme, au milieu de la nature ! L’observation du ciel étoilé le soir est aisée. La journée, il convient d’écouter le battement des ailes des oiseaux ou le cri d’un animal au loin, au bord du lac. Cet endroit est vraiment reposant, paisible et c’est une sorte de petit paradis perdu dans l’Ontario. Nous avons vraiment adoré ! Et c’était sans compter sur les petites attentions de Kim et Dave : eau fraîche et dégustation des breuvages locaux.

The cottage was very nice. The grounds are flat and beautiful. Great location. Everything was perfect for my family of 6.
