Nick's place is very beautiful and cozy. Very clean and organized. Nick was also very pleasant to communicate with and quick to respond. We would definitely be staying there again when working in the area. 100% recommend.

Cozy cabin next to the National park. Even though we requested the accommodation later in the afternoon, Roberta confirmed it quickly and communicated very dast. The cabin is equiped with basic ingredients such salt, pepper, oil and other spices as well as with tea ane coffee. Highly recommended!

This was my second stay at this location, and again it did not disappoint. The hosts are incredibly thoughtful with the small touches, and in our case this time they braved a true blizzard to ensure the Valentine's hot tub was available. The location is perfect. The view is perfect. It's a cozy place in the winter (I've been both times in the winter), but I can tell it would be and incredible summer stay.

I had a fantastic stay at this property! The place was spotless, beautifully maintained, and had everything I needed for a comfortable visit. The attention to detail was evident—from the fresh linens to the well-stocked kitchen. The host was responsive and made check-in and check-out seamless. The location was also perfect, making it easy to explore the area. I would definitely stay here again and highly recommend it to others!

I would come back here with friends and family for a getaway or special celebration any day! They know what you want to have fun and relax, and the set up makes it easy to slip right into vaycay mode - with a view to boot! But that sandy walk out to the river with the bright view from inside - beautiful. Thank you!

Love staying here! The host" Craig" is wonderful! He is very responsive with any questions! Very easy to find the place . We also love his gazebo looking over the corn feilds. Look forward to next time!

Jeremy's place is a perfect spot for a getaway. Clean, private, quiet and a great location. We look forward to returning in the summer to have some fun on the water. I would absolutely recommend this stay to anyone, check out a show at the Neat Cafe just a short walk away.

What a lovely space. Beautifully decorated and very comfortable. Sofabed was topped with a memory foam topper and was so comfortable. Each room had a fireplace giving the whole unit such a cozy feel. Sarah reached out ahead to provide details on arrival and knowing the we were there to see friends for St Patrick’s Day had decorated the unit. She also provided a welcome basket with snacks and a binder with information on the area. Will stay again the next time we’re in Douglas.

Spacious bottom suite, ideal for a family. The host was extremely nice and helpful. The backyard was absolutely beautiful where we enjoyed paddle boarding and kayaking. Would definitely stay again when visiting Calabogie.

Exactly as describe! If you want a relaxing getaway that’s close to local trails and Algonquin this is a great middle ground. Felt right at home and would 100% recommend for those looking to disconnect from the hustle and bustle and reconnect with nature.

Our stay at the cabin on Golden Lake was absolutely perfect! As always, we were warmly greeted by Cindy, whose friendly smile and attentive care make every visit feel extra special. The cabin was already warm upon arrival, and its cozy ambiance welcomed us for a relaxing weekend getaway. We were delighted to find delicious Lindor chocolates waiting for us—a sweet and thoughtful touch! The log cabin itself is absolutely charming, with its 3 beautifully appointed bedrooms. Everything was spotlessly clean, and the cabin was fully equipped with everything we could possibly need. The terrace offers stunning views of Golden Lake, where you can enjoy ice fishing or skating right outside your door. Plus, we discovered an incredible skating trail in the nearby woods—an absolute must-try for outdoor enthusiasts. We can’t wait to come back again. Gorgeous cottage! 15 min drive to Callabogie ski hill. Our 2 small families stayed a weekend at Barre Cabin and we enjoyed every minute of it. It couldn't have been more comfortable - the beds/linens/pillows/furniture, temperature, amenities, etc. The layout worked perfect for us and the bedrooms are set up so nicely. We had so much fun both indoors and out! They had a tobogganing hill that even the cold weather couldn't keep us from! Very family friendly - my 1 year old was blown away by a little kid nook with toys and books. The hosts are just the best; going out of their way with sweet honey touches, super accommodating and lovely to message. We will definitely be back in summer - the view is breathtaking.

We absolutely loved our stay at this cozy cabin! This was our 4th time coming back, and it never disappoints. The snowshoe trails are fantastic, offering great adventures right outside the door. We especially enjoyed the outdoor winter fires – a perfect way to unwind after a day in the snow. The cabin itself is so warm and inviting, truly the ideal spot for a cozy winter getaway. Tammy and Donna are such wonderful hosts, always going above and beyond to make our stay memorable. Can’t wait for our next visit!

We had a great stay at Quianna's cozy and warm little cabin. The cabin was clean and well kept. She informed about the shops and restaurants nearby and that they shutdown early so we could plan accordingly. Best place to stay while you explore the Algonquin park highway 60 corridor.

Fantastic hosts and amazing value for a cozy cabin !!

As described, it is a lovely cabin. We had a very cozy weekend. Marilyn and Svinda made sure that we have enough firewood and the fireplace made it so warm inside that we almost forgot it was -20 C outside! :) Marilyn and Svinda were super nice, kind, and helpful. We were introduced to their two mini donkeys and we could even take a lovely walk with them! There were also three outdoor gorgeous cats, good news for cat-lovers. Highly recommend this place!

Our second stay at Nicks retreat, just as great as the first time! 40 mins drive to Algonquin park, cute bakery and shops in maynooth and a large yard for a full game of football

This was our third time staying at the Dream Cabin and each time is better than the last. Roman and Irina are the ideal hosts with their quick response times, easy check-in instructions, lovely hospitality and overall friendly people who never hesitate to answer questions or assist in any way. It’s truly a place of paradise and we will be revisiting for many more years to come. Thanks Roman and Irina!!
