Unser Aufenthalt bei Tavia in dem Häuschen, auf dem wirklich weitläufigen Grundstück, war alles und mehr was wir uns erhofft hatten. Es ist ruhig und die Sterne sind super zu sehen. In der Unterkunft war alles nötige vorhanden. Wir konnten ohne Probleme kochen, Musik hören, DVDs aus Tavias großen Sammlung sehen und auch schlafen :) Tavia ist eine tolle Gastgeberin und hat uns gleich das Gefühl gegeben willkommen zu sein und uns außerdem mit Tips geholfen, das Beste aus unserem kurzen Aufenthalt zu machen. Vielen Dank Tavia, hoffentlich können wir noch einmal vorbei kommen!

I stayed here for two nights and had a great experience. The cabin and porta potty was clean and kitchen area had most things you may need to cook. Pat was very helpful and brought me a kayak and left me firewood to use (10$ each as described on the listing). I was alone the first night and second night stayed with a very nice couple - as a female travelling alone, I felt very safe as the owner’s home is very close by on the property. Pat checked in everyday to see how I was and if I needed anything. There is a beach within a couple minutes walk from the property and was very clean to swim in. I was able to relax and enjoy the serenity and also explore the area (Bonnechere provincial park and the Killaloe market). First night I heard some wolves (awesome) and second night I did not sleep well since it was raining and very loud - the cabin was still great and bed was very comfy. I will definitely come back, thanks Pat and Gasheida!!!

Had an amazing weekend getaway to the Trackers Cabin overlooking Golden Lake. Beautiful little rustic spot and very peaceful, we loved it! Zac and Steph were friendly and welcoming hosts, and were very responsive and helpful with any questions we had. Would love to return for a visit in the summer months!

Always a great place to get away for a quiet stay. Plenty of privacy and space on the property that makes you feel welcome. Rebecca is an incredible host and has been consistent with such great hospitality. Bring a book and sit at the beach and watch the ducks and loons swim by. There's a good 50 feet of sandbar at the water before the lake gets really deep.

Second visit to Zack and Steph's place and would happily go again. Self check-in was easy and the location is perfect for a little private getaway.

Beautiful rustic cabin in the woods but near restaurants etc...Tavia was a great host, available and helpful. She is always within reach but very respectful of your privacy. The area is peaceful country, on a dirt road surrounded by farm land and two ponds. The cabin is basic, everything required for a rustic gettaway, and a screened in porch with forest view. The only warning would be for those who cant climb a ladder to the bed loft. I will definitely be back.

Our second time at Red Pine Cabin but definitely not our last. This is the most relaxing place to stay when you need a nature retreat. The cabin is so well appointed with everything you need to cook a meal. The fireplace in front of the bed guarantees warm cosy naps after hiking the numerous trails. The outdoor fire pit offers spectacular views of the stars in the night sky. Zac was very accommodating when I requested a couple of extra pillows and they were there before I knew it. Thank you to these great hosts.

My husband and I stayed at the cabin during a snowstorm recently. It was an absolutely lovely stay and Zac was incredibly accommodating during the time we stayed. We loved the quiet atmosphere and snowshoeing on the trails. The cabin was clean and warm and had good lighting. We would definitely return!!

Thank you, Tasha and Shane, for a magical stay in your little slice of heaven. What a winter wonderland treat... Surrounded by nature - the trees and stars added to the perfect weekend reprieve we were looking for, and received. Hot tub, wood burning stove... couldn't have asked for anything more. Tasha and Shane were such thoughtful and responsive hosts, giving us a plethora of helpful info in regards to all the sights and activities nearby. In the end, we just hunkered down and enjoyed the cozy space they created. Thanks again, Tasha and Shane, for sharing your charming A-frame and peaceful property!

We had a great time at Lisa’s property. The place was very comfortable, clean and peaceful. It was nice to disconnect and enjoy coffee by the river. Communication was excellent at all times. We definitely recommend this cottage, it has everything you need and more!

My husband and I had a lovely week-long stay at the Secluded Nature Chalet over Christmas! Lisa's and Ian's attention to detail was evident from the start, with thoughtful touches like a handwritten card and welcome gifts awaiting us upon arrival. The house is cozy yet modern, with an impressively well-equipped kitchen. The bathroom felt luxurious, featuring a rain shower and a large bathtub—especially with the small bath amenities thoughtfully provided by our hosts. The property offers a perfect blend of forested tranquillity and access to Bark Lake. We loved the beautiful view from the house and the daily visits from squirrels on the terrace. The snowshoes and hiking poles the host lent us made exploring the area even more enjoyable. Lisa was very responsive and quick to resolve a minor heating issue. Her attentiveness ensured a smooth and pleasant stay.

Our stay at the Northwoods Cottage was simply perfect. Rachel and Tim were so generous, ensuring the trail to their fire pit was shovelled and gravelled so we could enjoy it with our guests. They clearly showed care in ensuring we had a great time, and all our needs would be met. The cottage its self is immaculate. The beds are comfortable, the view is amazing, the modern feel with touches of french farmhouse would make anyone feel cozy! They also had amazing recommendations for our nearby needs. We will definitely be booking another stay in the future. I can't say enough good things about Rachel, Tim and our stay. Highly recommend this cottage if you're looking for a beautiful, serene time!

This was our second stay at Cheryl's. It's a great place to relax and have a peaceful vacation.

We had the loveliest time on our trip to Casita Bonnechere! Sophia was an incredibly attentive host, helping us feel right at home, and the cabin itself is clean and bright with so many sweet little attentive details. The wood stove is really cozy and comfy and the outhouse is possibly the loveliest-smelling bathroom I have ever used in my life! The river is incredibly peaceful and the space is set up beautifully, with the simplicity we were hoping for in a trip outside the city. We were really able to relax and unwind during our stay and it felt like a true retreat. Will absolutely be returning for a visit and would recommend without hesitation!

This was such a wonderful, relaxing environment. It had everything we could’ve asked for in an Airbnb. The hosts were responsive and helpful. Check in was super easy. The space itself was amazing. It was a lovely place for a group of women that needed a break!

very nice place to unwind and relax! stayed for 3 days and felt so rested. the place was equipped with everything you needed and the vibe and the view outside was very peaceful. worth the 5hrs drive! will definitely come back and try their other units!

My husband and I wanted a quick getaway , somewhere rustic,quiet and close to water. We found Janet’s cabin just what we were looking for. Everything from the check in to the amenities met our expectations. Would definitely recommend Alexanne cottage rentals for your getaway adventure. We feel totally relaxed and rested ! We had an absolutely lovely time and were so impressed by the space. The bunkies were beautiful, the cabana at the beach was perfect, and everything we would have thought we wanted the hosts had already had thought of. Not to mention the amazing beach front! We ended up driving to the beach so we wouldn’t have to carry our coolers filled with drinks and food, but it was only a couple minute walk otherwise. Also for those interested in vacationing with their dogs - this is an amazing place to bring your puppers! Ours were so tired by the days end that they put themselves to sleep :) Thanks Philip and Abigail for the awesome stay in North Frontenac! Until next time! :)

Vista Cabin Rental’s were fantastic! Truly a serene experience. The host, Amanda, is so kind and thoughtful. She paid so much attention to detail and ensured that the space was catered to what me and my spouse needed.

My wife and I enjoyed another wonderful weekend and this perfect cozy cottage. All aspects of this property are top notch from the location to the construction. Every detail has been thoughtfully addressed to create a comfortable home away from home. Chris and David are the ultimate hosts and always go above and beyond to ensure that we have the best vacation possible. Somehow they were even able to provide beautiful warm sunny weather for our weekend. :)

Place was clean, and well maintained. Close enough to Algonquin Park. You can see canon lake from the cabin. The cabin was nice inside, great selection of movies. Brandon was very accommodating considering we booked less than 24 hrs before check in. Would definitely recommend and would love to go back!

Jennifer’s place was great! Beautiful location, private island all to ourselves. Boating over was easy peasy. We spent lots of time on the deck at the water and there are so many places to sit and relax both inside and out. We had a bonfire one night and played games the other nights. Overall a great experience. 😍

We absolutely love this place! If we could stay forever we would! Both Taylor and Pierre are beyond responsive and ready to help out with any request we may have had. We will continue to make this our summer trip destination for years to come! Thank you guys!
