this house is a very fun place to stay for a group of people. It is large and there are lots of rooms to gather in, or to escape if you want privacy. The Hudson River is right in the backyard and Troy is a surprising city, with good restaurants and interesting places to explore.

Our stay at Rebecca’s lake house was so much fun! The house is adorably decorated with a cozy, bohemian vibe that made us feel right at home. The views of Burden Lake from the patio were breathtaking, and we loved having our morning coffee there. Also an amazing place to star gaze. The amenities were so convenient, from the full kitchen to the comfortable beds and the super cute bathroom. I liked having the washer & dryer as well. We especially enjoyed the indoor and outdoor fireplaces, which added a warm and inviting touch to our evenings. The provided firewood and marshmallow sticks were a thoughtful bonus! Rebecca was an outstanding host, always quick to respond and incredibly helpful with local recommendations. We took advantage of the nearby hiking trails and local restaurants (too cold to paddle board unfortunately). This place is perfect for both relaxation and adventure. We can’t wait to come back in the summer to experience more of what this beautiful home has to offer.

Tom is a wonderful host and the home was great! A peaceful setting on the Hudson River and had everything we needed! Main bedroom bed was adjustable and super comfortable. We also loved the foosball and Ms. Pac-Man/Galaga machine. We enjoyed our stay there very much!

The house was very spacious, the kids ranging from 6-10 loved the games, especially cue ball and fuzz ball. The adults loved the fact there was a lower half where the kids can watch movies and play, while the adults did grown up chatting in the living space. A memorable ski weekend that everyone enjoyed to the fulliest and sad it went so fast. We look forward returning one day in the spring or summer to see a different aspect of the area. Thank you!

Claire’s place is what AirBnB should be about and why it used to be so good before corporate owners started buying and renting out sterile, impersonal spaces. At Claire’s you are a guest in someone’s real home, and someone who makes you feel like you are home with family. The home is warm and comfortable. The downstairs suite where I stayed had a large comfortable entry area with couch, chairs and television which was divided from the rest of the house by solid folding doors. Off of the entry space is your bedroom with an extremely comfortable bed, and off the bedroom is an en suite bathroom with a great walk in shower. I truly felt like I was staying with family, having use of the fridge and kitchen. Claire made some amazing breakfasts which were a great start to my workdays. An extra bonus was getting to meet and spend time with two of Claire’s close friends, Diane and Nancy. I had such a great time with them all. The cats of the house are loving and friendly. A wonderful stay!!

This is the perfect house for a weekend adventure. Steps from the lake, hiking minutes away in every direction, and unbeatable views. The house was immaculately clean, and everything was as described. We'll definitely be back!

This spot was perfect for our family members to stay in while visiting us from overseas. It was easy to get into, and was private.

We had a wonderful time! The views of the lake and sunrise were amazing and there are no words to describe the old world charm of a true wrap around porch. Very clean and comfortable accommodation as well as a host who was extremely responsive with the one and only question we had since communication was already great. I would definitely book again.

Such a gem of an airbnb! Was simply amazed at how well done everything in the apartment was and how beautifully decorated. You walk in and instantly feel at home and lucky that this is a space you can spend time! The apartment was super spacious, beds really comfortable, exceptionally clean, and had every item you would need for a short or long stay. The hosts were excellent communicators and super helpful with any questions I had regarding the area. Loved being a short drive to Albany and Troy as well as a short walk to Peebles State Park that had an awesome trail! I highly recommend this airbnb and hope to stay again!

The Folk Art Studio was the PERFECT getaway for our weekend!! Joe and Fiona are the friendliest hosts you’ll ever meet, and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The space is beautiful, homey and comfortable with everything you’ll need. They have a beautiful yard with a small private garden that is the perfect spot for morning coffee, and a porch glider for slow country evenings. The bed was the most comfortable thing you’ll ever sleep on, and everything was very clean when we arrived. The area is quiet with a lot to do in town and surrounding places! They had an EXCELLENT guide that helped us discover some of our new favorite local spots, and their recommendations never disappointed. I sincerely hope to be able to stay with Joe and Fiona every time we come to the Berkshires!

The place was wonderful. Very charming and homey, spotless with all the amenities and conveniences you could need. The information included in Joe’s binder gave great recommendations for meals and attractions within easy driving distance. We had never traveled to that area before and found the local scenery beautiful. Thanks for a lovely experience!

The home was in a great location, close to great dinning as well as centrally located for our needs. This home was so great we rented again for this week coming up! Thanks again Igor for being a great host and making it work out we could rent again this week!

Incredibly spacious place that was a great base for leaf-peeping season! Joe and Fiona were super friendly and also helpful when we ran into a ladybug impersonator problem (Asian beetles) mainly in the master bedroom during a warm weather spell. Kitchen was large and well-stocked!

This is a very special property. I grew up only 15 minutes from this "pond"/lake, and it is truly a hidden gem! Fully restored in the classic style of the rustic upstate lake camp, but updated, and finely appointed with everything you could possibly need or want. This property has craftsmanship, care, and attention to detail across every square inch. My family and I had a dreamy week here, with some local fam exclaiming; "I had no idea this lake was so gorgeous!" In my opinion, skip Lake George and the crowds -- come here to rest and enjoy silence and fireflies. I am already making mental plans for next year. Thank-you to Sheila and Eric for this slice of heaven, with brand new memories for us all. xx

We had an absolutely wonderful 4-day stay at 13 Damond Road in New Lebanon, NY, during Thanksgiving. The house was cozy, well-equipped, and perfect for a relaxing holiday getaway. The serene location provided a peaceful retreat, and the surrounding views were stunning, especially in the crisp fall weather. We were traveling with our two teenage children, and the home provided the perfect setting for us to spend quality time together. From preparing our Thanksgiving meal in the well-stocked kitchen to enjoying family conversations in the inviting living spaces, every moment felt special and memorable. The hosts, Paul and Kaveri, were incredibly thoughtful and responsive, ensuring that we had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. We truly enjoyed our time here and wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it to anyone looking for a tranquil and family-friendly place to stay.

Everything was exactly as it was in the Description. It was a bit tricky finding the exact location reason being it was dark out when we arrived. However, Ann & Francois were great and responded quickly and stood on the phone with us and guided us until we arrived at the front door. all-inall it was a very pleasant stay and experience. We will definitely look forward to another visit. I recommend this place to all who enjoy these types of experiences.

I stayed here for a long weekend to work on a writing project, and it was exactly what I wanted. The loveseat in the writing nook was the perfect place to curl up and work. The bed was comfortable, and the kitchen was amazingly stocked with all the cooking implements a person could need. The whole place looked exactly like it did in the photos. Joe was an amazing host, proactive and very nice. I will definitely be booking this place again.
