Bryndis and her family were wonderful hosts the place was close to some restaurants and the water. It is located in a peaceful section of Reykjavik and a great home base for activities around the capital. It is clean, spacious and the hosts were very responsive.

This home was beautiful and in the perfect location. The deck was a great place to sit out on with everyone after our long days of hiking and sightseeing. It included everything we needed to have a comfortable and smooth stay. Could not recommend this house more!!

We had an amazing stay! The house is super clean, you like your gym there is a place for You to train, we were 4 adults and infant we enjoyed! She communicated with us all the time and recommended things around so worthy staying here! We will for sure coming back!

Fun stay in a family home. Unlike most AirBnb we have used, this is active living space... With the quirks and perks that come with that. Our little boy loved seeing the other kids' rooms, and playing with their toys. Very kid friendly unit! Master bedroom had a super firm mattress which we loved!!! Thanks for a great stay!

A fantastic homely place to stay with our family including teenage grandchildren. Great local supermarket and bus service which meant we didn't need a car. Superb views including across the bay to see the erupting volcano! The BBQ and the hot tub were fabulous as was the weather. Outdoor living was just as good as indoors. Everything we needed in the kitchen was available including a well stocked fridge on our arrival. Plenty bedding and towels to facilitate changing everything during our stay.

My family of 7 loved our stay! The area was lovely and conveniently located. Run was very responsive and helpful with anything we needed! Also, we managed to see the northern lights from the garden!

The pictures for this house do it no justice - the place is absolutely beautiful! Very spacious with tons of light. Incredibly clean. Heated tile floors which keep the whole house warm. Ólafur is very hospitable. He provides thorough instructions and is super responsive if you have any additional questions. (We learned when using the stove/hot plate that you have to put a pan on it first so it can heat because there needs to be weight present to activate.) Our flights arrived early in the morning and he let us check in early and check out an hour late. We had an amazing time in Iceland and when we return we will be booking this house. Thank you Ólafur!

Un très beau pied à terre, à 10 minutes à pied de la mer où on a fait un feu pour faire griller des shamallows. 20 minutes de Reykjavik, autant dire à côté. Et puis la maison est bien organisée, ordonnée, les chambres sont spacieuses. Le service en plus d'avoir des serviettes de bain et du shampooing permet de ne pas charger les valises. Le quartier est calme. Au top!

This was our second trip to Iceland and we would stay here for our third with no questions asked. Jovanna was one of the best Airbnb hosts I've ever had. And was beyond helpful with anything that we needed. And even went above and beyond certain things for my kids that we were looking for in town. The house is pristine. And in an unusual twist of events, it was way better than the pictures. And the pictures were amazing. Super comfortable furniture, beds, and excellent bathrooms and kitchen. Exceeded our expectations, and would definitely would recommend to anyone with a family who wants to explore Iceland from Reykjavík that has children, and wants a home base. It's also worth noting that it is very conveniently located to 24 hour stores and groceries. As well as a few minutes from downtown where all of the activities are in the city.

Hrafn's home was a great place to stay for our first visit to Iceland. Centrally located in Reykjavik, just minutes from the downtown area.

What a place! Agusta’s house is amazing, super clean, the views are incredible, easy 30-40 min walk to the centre of Reykjavik along the water or super easy bus transport network (we did not have a car on this trip)… and didn’t need one. Well equipped kitchen. Excellent communication with Agusta leading up to and during our trip with some lovely recommendations. We had lots of snow during our visit over NYE and Agusta left out some snow bikes for us to use on the hill next to her home which our son loved. Such a lovely neighbourhood we would highly recommend staying here. We were a family of 7 adults and a 3 year old child. NYE from Agustas house was spectacular watching the fireworks from the hill over Reykjavik - once in a lifetime for sure. We would come back in a heartbeat.
