Bryndis and her family were wonderful hosts the place was close to some restaurants and the water. It is located in a peaceful section of Reykjavik and a great home base for activities around the capital. It is clean, spacious and the hosts were very responsive.

Nice, spacious house matching perfectly matching the description and photos. Worked perfectly for four adults and four kids. Football pitch and playground by the school just a few metres from the house. And a trampoline in the garden. Easy and quick communication with David. Thanks for a great stay!

This place was perfect! 4 adult and 4 kids. It was absolutely beautiful home and the owners were so responsive and helpful. The house is walking distance to food markets and some restaurants and only 20 min drive from downtown Reykjavik. Walking trails all along the area. We could not have picked a better place to stay for our visit to Iceland, highly recommend this place!

Great location that’s outside the hustle of downtown Reykjavik. Sweet neighborhood and extremely well-kept home with beautiful backyard. Highly recommend.

This AirBnB was perfect for our family of 6! We all had our own bedrooms (2 couples, 2 singles) and enough common area to spread out, if we wanted. Kitchen had everything we needed to cook meals and Inga even left a welcome basket of snacks and breakfast items! The place also has a washer & dryer, which we used after swimming, twice! The heated floors were a God-send during the December cold. We had an electrical issue and they promptly got an electrician out to fix it. Worked perfectly after that! The location is at the end of a street in a quiet neighborhood. There is a walking trail close by but we never used it because we visited in December and it was too cold for us. Other amenities are available at the house, like a hot tub and outdoor living area, but we did not use those because of the cold weather. They look like a wonderful addition for a warmer-weather visit. I highly recommend this location and the wonderful hosts!!

Det var veldig rent og pent når vi kom. Sigurdur var hjelpsom hele veien. Rene senger og rene håndklær ferdige. Man kunne enkelt fylle badestampen og sitte der om kvelden. Vi bodde der en uke med tre barn. Leide bil ved flyplassen. 5 minutt til nærmeste bakeri for å kjøpe ferskt brød til frukost og 8 min til bra matbutikk. 10 min å kjøre til sentrum hvor det var enkelt å parkere. Vi var på utflukt til Golden circle, red på islandshester med Eldhestar, beach ride- fantastisk! Tur med båt og såg på Lundefugler. En kveld på Sky lagoon. Da får man med seg solnedgangen. Kjøkkenet var enkelt å bruke, lagde middag hjemme, enkelt med barna. Vi hadde en veldig fin ferieuke, kan sterkt anbefales!

Amazing place, really modern, spacious and warm. It was perfect for our self drive trip around Iceland. Great to have a place to park also. Would 100% recommend Airbnb got anyone travelling to Iceland

Brilliant stay at a lovely apartment. Host really friendly & attentive. Good facilities, well stocked, home from home style approach. Comfortable beds. Location 10 minutes walk from the centre. Quiet & safe suburb. Good local facilities. Excellent local Chinese restaurant Fine nearby also worth a visit.

I recommend Björg's flat in Reykjavik. It has everything you need for cooking; at least three supermarkets are really close by. Everything in Reykjavik is reachable in under an hour by foot. This is a perfect origin for your explorations and also a perfect destination for relaxing after a longer trip. I would definitely choose the accommodation again.

Our family of 5 stayed at Svavar’s apartment over New Years. It was a great location - walkable to restaurants and shops. The apartment itself was clean, spacious yet cozy and beautifully decorated - with a Christmas tree and lots of Christmas lights which made it feel festive. There were plenty of closet/drawer space for our belongings. We also appreciated the off-street parking. Svavar was a great host - always responsive and offering helpful suggestions. We cannot wait to return!

A beautiful apartment that looks just like the photos! Comfy beds, spacious living room, well-stocked and modern kitchen. And super close to the downtown, many parks, and coastline. We really enjoyed our stay here!

this place was perfect for families taking bus tours.. we loved the stay and felt like living in our hom.. kids loved the tv shows and we loved the kitchen to make our own food few times ..

Magnús has been a great host, polite, kind and really helpfull. The house is beautiful, full-equiped and nice located (could even see the northern lights here). We had an incident with the jacuzzi and he helped us super fast. Would recommend this acommodation 100%.

Great apartment very close to city center. Very spacious with a fully functional kitchen- everything you need to make meals. Awesome Nespresso machine! Powerful shower and comfy bed. Very attractive and comfortable cabin in a beautiful area which feels entirely private despite being only an hour from Reykjavik. Great base for hiking or sightseeing. We had five days here and felt we only scratched the surface of what the area has to offer. Cabin is very well and thoughtfully equipped. Matthias was a great host and offered fantastic recommendations of things to do and see. No hesitation at all in recommending.

Our stay has been everything we could have wished for. Dadi even came by to say hello and bring a substitute for the tv streamer. He provided us with coffee, fire blocks and nice tips to see and do. The view on the lake is absolutely stunning. Absolutely recommended!

We had such a great time, the cabin exceeded expectations in every way! Lilja was very responsive and helpful for any questions we had. The most beautiful surroundings and so peaceful! We enjoyed the hot tub, dart board and pool table. We even got to see the auroras on 2 separate nights which was a real highlight! The kitchen is small with a small over, this didn’t matter for us but could be useful to know if you were not planning to go out much. Thank you for a wonderful stay. I would highly recommend this cabin!!

This was the coziest little tiny home we could have found! It was very quiet and peaceful despite other houses being all around us. We were nestled right along a lake, mountainside, and the main road into the area. Fantastic location for seeing the Northern Lights, which we caught here on our very last night in Iceland! The kitchen was well stocked with teas and coffees which we appreciated immensely. We look forward to staying in the cabin again!

We had a wonderful stay because being off grid suited us. Be warned, as described with limited electricity and no hot water or shower. We were fine with this and his place will be truly amazing when he finishes building everything. We were awestruck by the views and peacefulness. We had fantastic views of the auroras both nights we stayed. We loved using the fire pit to cook our dinner each night. For us this was a very memorable stay and we look forward to staying again maybe when it is finished

Beautiful house in the middle of lush green mountains, waking up in such a lovely place was lovely , really set the tone for the day. Couldn’t ask for a more helpful host
