Nous avons passé un excellent séjour en Islande grâce au camping car. Ce n'était pas celui de l'annonce car il était en réparation. Celui qu'on a eu nous correspondait plus par le nombre de lit. David est un hôte chaleureux et disponible. Je reviendrai vers lui sans hésiter pour un nouveau séjour

We hebben een superfijne vakantie gehad in IJsland. We hadden zeer last-minute beslist om op vakantie te vertrekken. Berglind heeft voor ons alles in het werk gezet om haar huis in één dag op orde te brengen. Ondanks onze late beslissing, was het huis in de namiddag van aankomst al klaar. Het huis is enorm leuk ingericht, genoeg ruimte, de keuken is goed uitgerust en de 2 badkamers waren ook top! Onze dochter van 5 heeft zich ook kunnen uitleven met het aanwezige speelgoed. Verder hebben we er nog genoten van de hottub op het terras. Berglind is een geweldige host, ze reageert snel op al je vragen.

Great location that’s outside the hustle of downtown Reykjavik. Sweet neighborhood and extremely well-kept home with beautiful backyard. Highly recommend.

This house is amazing. It is beautiful, quiet, and with all the amenities you need. Perfect for our group of 7 ladies, but would work well for 4 couples or another group or family. Having a car would be best from this location to explore Reykajavik and beyond. Easy access to highway for airport, city, or country. Grocery store is within walking distance. Fantastic, flexible host!

Sara’s place felt at home. We were comfortable. With 5 of us, 2 living spaces really helped. We are able to have our own spaces within the house. A relatively new home, fast internet and while it’s was super freezing out there, we were snug as a bug! Would happily return. Great communication too. 👍🏼

We very much enjoyed our stay here! It was great home base for our day trips. The Airbnb had everything we needed as well. Olafur was very helpful and responsive. There were also more toys here for the kids than we’ve had at any other Airbnb which was perfect for keeping the kids busy. Would definitely stay here again.

Great for families and convenient location for Reykjavik and the airport. Would highly recommend. Pros Quiet neighbourhood. Responsive host. Honoured the booking even though there was some sort of mix-up. Super helpful and the additional information during bad weather was really appreciated. Clean, tidy, spacious and comfortable. Great for families with young children. Improve Netflix on the main tv would be useful.

Excellent séjour, le logement était propre et correspondait à la description. Les commodités autour du logement sont aussi un plus. Un supermarché est accessible à pied et se situe à 200 m. Une ligne de bus donnant accès au centre de ville de Reykjavik en 15 mn avec un passage des bus tous 15-20 mn. Les taxis sont disponibles également jusqu'à très tard la nuit a un tres bon prix. Communication facile avec Annel, tout a été simple pour un bon séjour. Nous reviendrons sans hésiter.

Helga was extremely responsive and the information she shared was incredibly helpful! She made sure everything was set for our 11 month old and provided great recommendations. One of our group had a later flight and she was super flexible with a later flexible time. Would highly recommend staying here.

We were staying for a couple of nights at the end of our trip and this was a perfect location just outside of Reykjavik but close enough to visit and explore the city. Very new apartments so everything in excellent condition and well fitted out with everything you need. Ground floor apartment with clear instructions provided on how to get in.

this place was perfect for families taking bus tours.. we loved the stay and felt like living in our hom.. kids loved the tv shows and we loved the kitchen to make our own food few times ..

Spędziliśmy tydzień w apartamencie wynajmowanym przez Dagnę i był to wspaniały czas. Apartament jest świetnie zlokalizowany na wzgórzu z panoramicznym widokiem na miasto aż po ocean. Któregoś wieczora za oknem pojawiła się zorza polarna. Raczej dla osób dysponujących samochodem. Mieszkanie jest wygodne, można poczuć się jak u siebie w domu. Są wszystkie potrzebne udogodnienia. Dagny jest bardzo komunikatywnym gospodarzem. Szybko odpowiada na wiadomości i jest pomocna.

Very convenient location. Great for traveling with a rental car. Close to city center and easy to start the trip to the south or north. Close to main road yet very quiet and private. Beds are comfortable. Corner unit with lovely open views on the back. It has a private patio with furniture. Though we didn’t use as we spent most our time outside. Note refrigerator is filled with owners food. Though there is a section cleaned out for us to use, I would have liked maybe a separate small/dorm fridge in the kitchen. Overall a good stay at a decent price.

The host is very friendly and helpful, even though we booked the place at the last minute. He had the place ready for us within a few hours. The location is convenient, about 20 minutes from downtown Reykjavik, with free parking available in either an outdoor lot or an indoor garage. It is also very close to a Bonus, a grocery store chain popular with locals. The apartment is very clean, tastefully decorated, and equipped with many luxury amenities. This is definitely a home away from home that we would love to return to. Thank you, Jon!

This is the only Airbnb in the entire world that we've returned to a second time, and wholeheartedly recommend it. Since both trips were in the winter, we planned on enjoying time after sunset cooking together. The thoughtful layout of this home with the open kitchen-dining-living room was perfect. And of course the location is 15 minutes from Selfoss for easy grocery store runs, and plenty of sights within 45 min. Hot tub and sauna were both lovely while our baby napped - seeing the Northern Lights from the warm sauna was unforgettable. Other little things that felt especially luxurious to us: soft throws for the couch, fluffy duvets, extra towels, and just being well stocked (glassware, serving platters, teas, fancy salts, many spices, candles, games, firewood, WD-40). The owners went out of their way to borrow a high chair for us, and even put an adorable pillow and tiny duvet in the crib. Thank you for an amazing second home for the week, we will always treasure the memories!

The property was very nicely appointed and had a good amount of space. In a fantastic location for seeing various sites and in a very private location although close enough to Selfoss for food and entertainment options. The star of the show is the hot tub and sauna, and both were great to relax in after a day of sightseeing. Would definitely recommend.

Duidelijke instructies van de host, snelle reactie bij vragen. Klein schattig huisje, met alles er op en er aan! Natuur is erg mooi rondom het park, voor van winkels moet je wel wat verder rijden, maar goed bereikbaar met eigen auto. Top verblijf gehad!

(We’ve stayed in the area several times) Easy drive to Selfoss, easy jumping off point to the Golden Circle in general. Host was very responsive throughout. Heads up: there are “hidden” drawers in the kitchen - it’s not a style we’re used to, so it took a while to find some kitchen implements! Wood burning stove was lovely in the evenings, hot tub works great, but beware the heavy cover. 12 People would be a but more snug than I’d prefer, but I’m sure it can be done. If you’re there in the winter and expect snow and ice - getting up the driveway is a but tricky, 4 WD drive is almost a must.

What can I say. As per the pics and amazing. We were 2 adults and 2 teenage children staying for 4 nights. The house is private and secluded, set in breathtaking scenery. It’s 15 mins from lots of supermarkets or fast food outlets which are reasonable. About 20 mins from downtown and any attractions. 40 mins from the airport. Clean, with everything you need for a relaxing stay after a day in Iceland. We hiked a mountain you can see from the lounge window. Amazing views. You can see the northern lights from the house most nights as long as it’s clear. Host was great and responsive through messaging. We made a booking mistake and she changed it without any drama. Looking at MOST places to rent for a few days in Iceland, this is next level. For us as a family it was what we wanted. Private, comfortable, quiet, special. You probably only go to Iceland once… it’s special…do it right. Rent this now.

Amazing cabin by the lake. You feel so alone yet Selfoss is only a short drive away. The place is so homely, has all the things you need and more with a supermarket close by in Selfoss. Wonderful communication and I wish we could enjoy the cabin for far longer. Thank you so so much for sharing your beautiful home with us.

My husband and I wanted to get away from the city and out in the country. This was the perfect place for us. The scenery around the cabin is breathtaking. We enjoyed the hottub and we're also able to view the Northern Lights on a few nights. The amenities inside were perfect and just what we needed. I was a little apprehensive about the shower being outside in a separate building, at first, but the water was hot and the pressure was excellent. Our stay was perfect and the communication with Vidar was top notch. Such a beautiful place.

The area was incredibly peaceful with just a few neighbours scattered around but not close by. The kitchen was fully stocked with all the utensils you need to cook proper meals. The house itself is super cosy and homely and in a great location for exploring the south coast
