We traveled with an infant and since no one was using the place the day before, Hildur allowed us to come straight from our flight! It was so incredibly nice of them and my daughter appreciated the opportunity to catch up on some sleep. Overall, the place is beautiful, spacious, and had an incredible review. I’d recommend this AirBnb to anyone!

Great location!! Close and easy to all highways, 20 minutes to city and 20 minutes from KEF airport. Very quiet. The house had plenty of towels and linens and was very clean. This is owner's home, and she rents it out when she is out of town. It had 3 bedrooms and a fourth was a room partitioned off in the back of the large living room. There was also an oversized couch someone could sleep on. Plenty of comfortable and separate sleeping options. Would stay here again. Thanks

Nice house in in good area, a lot of space and light. Many games and toys for kids! 10 min by walk to the bus terminal.

The house was exactly what we needed for our last few days in Iceland! everything was spotless and the coffee machine was incredible. Thank you for an amazing stay!

Great house, very clean and easy to find. Host was extremely quick in replying and helpful. Would recommend as a base if exploring Rekyavik and south Iceland!

Pros: Karen is very friendly and gave great local advice on where to see the Northern Lights as well as cheaper places to park. A slight issue arose prior to our arrival (as issues do) and Karen was quick to communicate and offer a perfect solution. House was clean and safe. Location was great for walking around all the downtown shops and literally across the street from our favorite bakery, Plantan. Cons: There was only 1 set of keys so we had to wait a few minutes for host to meet us to let us in. Same for check-out - we waited about 30 minutes for host to meet us to get the keys. This might be made less inconvenient if you know exactly what time you are leaving. We initially thought we would stay until 11 but changed our minds and were ready to leave at 9:30. We went to eat at Plantan and host arrived at 10 to retrieve keys.

Drifa’s home was lovely. The neighbourhood is set outside central Reykjavik and the walk into town is about 25 minutes. It is right next to the sea. It was snowing when we stayed and was in between Christmas and New Year. Everything looked so pretty with the Christmas lights. Beds are comfy, it is quiet at night, feels totally safe. Clean, spacious and homely for my family of 5.

Provavelmente um dos melhores locais onde ficamos, pois a casa é muito superior ao que as fotografias mostram. A localização é maravilhosa, a casa e as comodidades simplesmente soberbas, sem duvida local que iremos voltar na próxima visita a Islândia. Durante a nossa estadia sentimo-nos completamente em casa, o conforto, todos os utensílios na cozinha disponíveis, aquecimento central ótimo, enfim recomendamos é só podemos agradecer a Helga por nos proporcionar esta experiência.

amazing location very close to Reykjavik. sky lagoon is almost walkable it's so close. the views of the bay are amazing as well. communication was great with Bjarki and the info provided made it super easy to get in. would absolutely stay again in a heart beat. can't wait for our next trip.

Gorgeous apartment with a lovely view! Taking a stroll by the ocean in the morning is a must. The apartment is well equipped and Aron was very responsive to any questions . Highly recommend a stay here to anyone. The location is fantastic!

Helga Nina's apartment was the perfect spot for us to explore Reykjavik and Iceland! Easily walkable to the city center as well as having parking to enable exploration further afield. The apartment itself was lovely - very clean, great views and all amenities as described. Cheers ☺️

Excellent location, clean and welcoming apartment. Host provided great details and was responsive with information and general inquiries. We were a group of 4 and the space was accommodating, comfortable, quiet, easy parking and great restaurants/bars and shopping. My fav part was walking across the street and strolling along the sea, seeing the sculptures, talking with locals. Recommend this apartment for anyone who wants a spacious layout at an affordable price. Would definately stay here again!

A beautiful apartment that looks just like the photos! Comfy beds, spacious living room, well-stocked and modern kitchen. And super close to the downtown, many parks, and coastline. We really enjoyed our stay here!

Great apartment. Quick drive into Reykjavík. FYI that the parking is not assigned but free parking in the surrounding neighborhood wherever you can find it.

We absolutely loved our stay at Brynja’s. She was incredibly helpful, and her place was everything and more! It was spacious, allowed us to have cooked meals, and was such a short drive to downtown. Brynja met us there, showed us around, shared her favorite candies with us, and checked in throughout our trip. We’ve already told her we can’t wait to come back. The highlight was the indoor patio which let us listen to the rain/snow drizzle outside when winding down for the night. Thank you for an unforgettable stay and for sharing your home with us.

An exceptional experience. The place was cozy, perfectly located, quiet. And Jon couldn't have been a better host. Super responsive and accommodating, checked in to make sure I got in ok and even offered a later checkout if I needed. Highly recommend!

Die Unterkunft hat uns sehr gut gefallen. War sehr gut ausgestattet, hatte einen privaten Parkplatz direkt vor der Tür. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war super, schnell und einfach! Das einzige war wir bemängeln würden wäre, dass die Bettdecke und die Decke auf der Couch Flecken hatten und das Gefrierfach komplett voll war, sodass wir nichts Gefrorenes hätten kaufen können. Ansonsten ruhige Lage, alles top. Würden die Unterkunft weiterempfehlen.

We had a wonderful time in this cozy apartment. It was a nice location to be outside the city but have easy access to main roads and shops. We chose this place as it was walking distance to our friends' house. Heba's decor is very pleasing and the kitchen had everything we needed. The space is well designed for relaxation and practicality. It was easy to park our rental car in the driveway.

Unbelievable location. Hronns home is extremely clean and very comfortable. You could not get a better location in the city, it was central to everything. You can walk to all the best bars and restaurants. There is a market right across the street to get whatever you need. We felt right at home and it was a great place to come back to after long tours. The included parking space was so convenient and saved me money on parking. The place is impeccably decorated and the bed was really comfortable. Hronn and Siggi are very warm, welcoming, and lovely people. I accidentally locked myself out and they answered my call immediately to help me. They also go out of their way to provide helpful information about the area in a convenient pamphlet left on the counter.. These are truly great people and I am already planning my next trip back. I can honestly say I would not stay anywhere else in Reykjavik as long as this place is available.

Olafur lists his response time as 11 hours, but he was usually much quicker than that. His was a nice place accessible to many restaurants and not far from the downtown area. Quiet at night, lots of parking, a great home away from home.

Great stay in Reykjavik! Highly recommend to anyone looking to spend some time in the city. Walkable to many museums, restaurants, and shops. Super convenient! The hot tub is an added bonus :)

Sigrun was such a lovely host and her place was beautiful. It was so nicely decorated for the holidays. It is very conveniently located near the church, which was wonderful for the New Year’s fireworks. Every possible comfort was provided for and everything was in wonderful condition . The furnishings were very elegant and comfortable . She made us feel very welcome from her first message to her warm greeting , to the nice touches of coffees and candies that she left for us. I have stayed in many Airbnb‘s throughout the world and this is one of the nicest, what a wonderful way to start 2025!

Hannes place was perfectly situated for us. It was easy to get to all our destinations, we had a rental car, and it was quiet and peaceful after our day’s adventures each day. Hannes was great with communication and had great suggestions on restaurants and attractions. The unit was super clean and had everything we needed for our week. We even got to see the Northern Lights right above the unit on our last night there! Amazing! Hopefully we will get a chance to return to Iceland and we would definitely stay here again. Thank you.
