Hildur's place was fantastic!!! Everything was great, from before booking to checkout. Hildur was able to accommodate our early check-in, which was very appreciated. She was very responsive and friendly before our stay and during our stay. One of our guided tours got cancelled and Hildur was able to give us some last minute suggestions of what else we could do. She also let us know when the Northern Lights were visible so we could see them! Hildur's place was very, very clean and had everything we needed. I highly suggest reading the information she provides about the space before you start using anything - it was extremely helpful! The location was great, right by the water in a very safe neighborhood. We rented a car and were able to drive in and out of the city center, but it is definitely walkable. It was overall a great stay with a fantastic host! I highly recommend!

Helga was very welcoming and responsive to any questions I had. She reached out to offer rain gear as there were a few rainy days. The area was great - it was close to everything (very walkable and easy to get around) but was in a quiet area. The apartment was comfortable and clean. I would definitely stay again for another trip to Iceland.

We had a fantastic stay and were sad to leave! Hosts were always very easy to contact and very helpful. Location was fantastic as we were right in the middle of everything so walking was easy. Beautiful views from the many windows. If we ever come back, we won’t hesitate to book here again!

L'appartement est occupé par les propriétaires en dehors des périodes de location, ce qui en fait un appartement propre, cozy et fonctionnel. Il est assez bien placé proche de la mer et à 20 minutes à pieds du centre historique. Il est également possible de prendre les transports en commun pour aller en ville et au terminal BSI (Bus station). Nous avons apprécié la communication avec le propriétaire qui nous a bien aidé pour organiser notre séjour. Je recommande vivement cet appartement qui a répondu à toutes nos attentes.

We had such a wonderful stay here - this is a cosy farm stay close enough to Reykjavík but far enough to have clear skies to see the Northern Lights if you’re lucky enough. We absolutely loved the kitchen, the coffee moccamaster and having access to a washing machine. A super warm, nicely decorated place and huge bed! Probably one of my favourite Airbnbs I’ve ever stayed in. Disa is super lovely and so is Bonzo the dog! Highly recommend to anyone travelling to Iceland ❤️

If you are traveling to the Reykjavik area, you should definitely stay at this spot! The apartment had everything you would need and we felt right at home. It is in a great location and most attractions are with in walking distance!

We had an extremely enjoyable and relaxed stay here for over a week. It's perfect for 2 people who are focused on seeing the sites of Iceland. A great location only 15 minutes south of Reykjavik and easy to jump on the road for day trip adventures. The view out the window of the harbor is wonderful sitting on the couch at the end of a long day of adventure. Then, if tired don't worry you have 3 nice restaurants very quick walking distances from you. Snaedis provided a thoughtful welcome basket and beers for us, 3 different times during our stay! We also had a grocery store just a minute down the road that made things easy. I can't say enough good things about the hospitality and highly recommend!

Ari’s apartment was conveniently located a 15 minute walk from the center of downtown. Everything was clean and welcoming, and it was a great home base for a few days of exploring. Ari was communicative, responsive, and very helpful. We would happily stay again.

The views are spectacular and the place is clean , cozy and has everything you might need , we could not have asked for more . Svana was very responsive and nice to communicate with , we felt welcomed and being taken care of every step of the way . Definitely great memories for years to come , hoping to come back during summer . Thank you .

We had such a great stay at Vive’s. Firstly, the house is exactly as described. All the rooms, and more Importantly the beds were super clean and very comfortable. The house is spacious and located in a very beautiful and serene neighborhood which is like a 5 to 7 min drive to downtown Reykjavik. We walked along the beautiful bay that’s literally right behind the house, and kids enjoyed playing at a cute playground right next to the bay. Vive had several nice toys which kept the kids entertained at home. The hot tub was great to spend late evenings with friends with a few drinks. Vive was super responsive and helped with any questions we had! I would definitely recommend her place and would stay here again when I come back again to Iceland!

Abbiamo alloggiato 4 notti in questa bellissima casa, affacciata a un lago che rende il tutto ancora più affascinante. Immersa nel nulla, lontano dalle luci della città è il luogo ideale per risintonizzarsi con la natura circostante, ammirare un cielo stellato che ti toglierà il fiato, e se si è fortunati, quanto lo siamo stati noi, assistere al meraviglioso fenomeno dell'aurora boreale. Ci siamo subito sentiti accolti dall'ampio salotto, dove abbiamo trascorso piacevoli serate a chiacchierare e ridere. La cucina è attrezzatissima di ogni elettrodomestico e non ci è mancato veramente nulla. Ambiente caldo e molto pulito, le camere e i letti confortevoli. Che dire, se dovessi ritornare in Islanda molto probabilmente alloggerei di nuovo qui.

Host preciso e disponibile. Alloggio carino e confortevole come da descrizione. Check-in veloce. Bella esperienza siamo stati bene.

If you are going to Iceland, I can not say enough about this space. I got lost the first night, which was my fault and I forgot where I put the code to the lock box. The space was gorgeous, I saw the northern lights from the outside deck, we were on the water, the sunsets were stunning. You could have fit 4 easily, but if you have children, the couches where very comfortable so you could fit more. You had every amenity you could need (well, I could need) I could go on and on, but suffice it to say, it was perfect for us, and the hosts were great. Thank you for a wonderful lodging for our stay.

Wonderful home to relax in after a day exploring the area. All as described, cosy and comfortable.

Wonderful 2 day stay! Very comfortable space, with great beds and incredible views. We were very lucky and saw the Northern Lights both nights. We’d definitely stay here again and highly recommend it.

Sehr schöne Unterkunft mit Blick direkt auf die Bucht. Die Wohnung hat alles, was man für einen mehrtägigen Aufenthalt benötigt, man kann es auch für länger aushalten. Da wir ein Auto hatten, kamen wir auch schnell überall hin, die öffentliche Erreichbarkeit können wir nicht beurteilen. Alles in allem sehr zu empfehlen.

Rùnar’s home is perfect to rest after an icelandic adventure. It’s warm, comfortable and nice, with an amazing ocean view (we had the chance to contemplete an eruption too!) and good markets near by. There is a delicious little fish market too, at few steps. Reykjavìk is easily reachable by walking (half an hour) or with bus and Seltjarnarnes is a peaceful and welcoming neighborhood. Rùnar and his family are helpful and kind. Thank you for sharing your home!

This was the perfect place to stay for a quick vacation to Reykjavik! Really nice location with ocean views, 2 balconies, very close (driving) to main areas/ downtown. Some stores and restaurants in walking distance. Host was very flexible and responsive. Would definitely stay again!

Snorri and Svava’s Airbnb was so cozy, clean, and in a great location near the city and next to the water. They were so responsive and friendly! I would stay again!

Unnur’s place was absolutely spectacular, and she was an exceptional communicator. She went out of her way to ensure I had everything I needed, including a charging adapter upon arrival and extra towels for my comfort. Her communication was truly outstanding.

Wonderful, tastefully furnished apartment in the heart of downtown Reykjavic with access to restaurants, nightlife, tours, supermarkets...everything the heart desires! 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Kristlind is a great hostess, very helpful and friendly. The apartment is lovely and super comfortable. It has everything you need, and more. Located in a peaceful area, it was exactly what we were looking for. Definitely recommended!

My partner and I had a very enjoyable stay in Reykjavík. Jason was a brilliant host. He was very responsive and kindly granted us an extension to our checkout time so we could squeeze one more excursion before heading home. A wonderful cosy apartment with lots near by. We will certainly miss being there.
