The property was superb, even better than the photographs. It’s ideally situated for access to Bowness and surrounding area. The views from the outside terrace were fabulous - even though the weather was mixed! The hot tub and games room were well used and enjoyed by our mixed age group. Overall a brilliant holiday in a beautiful home and David our host met us at the property and even allowed us in early!

Jo's place was exceptionally clean and extremely comfortable. It had everything we needed to make our stay feel like a home from home. I would definitely recommend Sunnybank to anyone who asks and we would definitely stay again when visiting family who live close by. Tracy & Sue

Lovely cottage close to great restaurants and pubs, as well as the dam and lovely woods. Fantastic cycling routes nearby. We particularly liked the Fox and Hounds which had live music and great food and real ale. The cottage was lovely, spotlessly clean and very comfortable and very convenient to everything we wanted to do. Alexandra provided very clear instructions which was most helpful. Would love to return.

An absolute gem of a place. Perfectly placed for a walk uphill to Windermere or downhill to Bowness, with literally everything we needed on the doorstep, yet positioned in a lovely quiet residential street. The house is bursting with charm and character, and was clean, spacious, bright and comfortable. Lizzie had left a folder with comprehensive instructions and recommendations for the area but had also messaged before we arrived with plenty of useful information. We would not hesitate to return and would happily recommend this house, and host, to everyone else.

Our family had a great stay at this Airbnb. It was perfect for our two small families. It was walkable to the town and the lake. Perfect for a lovely weekend in the Lake District!

Absolute gem of a house. Mark couldn’t have been a better host. House was spotless and extremely well appointed. Ansdell is a perfect spot as it’s easily accessible to Lytham and close to Fairhaven. My family lives in Lytham and when there is a big get together we sometimes need to find extra accommodation. This has been the best one we have found so far. Thank you Mark.

This was our 2nd stay at this lovely house. The location is nice & quiet & perfect for walking in the surrounding area & for the village pubs, shops etc. The house is very clean, comfortable & warm & is well kitted out with everything you need. Simon's flat is beautiful, clean and well kept! The surrounding area is idyllic. It was perfect for our stay within easy reach to Lark Lane and lovely park walks on the doorstep. We had a fantastic weekend visiting family locally. The property was ideally situated for us. Simon was a perfect host, very friendly and helpful. The property was clean and spacious and provided us with everything we could need. I would definitely rebook in the future. The sculpture park nearby is definitely worth a visit.

Lorraines apartment was a great base for our 3 day visit to Liverpool. Beautiful apartment which exceeded our expectations. I expected it to be smaller than it looked but it was actually larger than I thought. We loved it and loved Liverpool. not far to walk into Albert Dock. There was only 2 of us but would be very comfortable for a group of 4. Definitely recommend this to others. Huge Thank you to Lorraine, a great host!

Great apartment, perfect for what we needed. We parked outside to unpack in the 1 hour free parking spaces then took the car to the local carpark where we left it for 3 days. The apartment is in a good location.

Such a lovely cute bolt hole that’s perfect for exploring Ambleside & the Lakes. Clean, comfy and quiet and everything you need! Tracy was very helpful and responsive and everything was exactly as described.

Just back from a lovely midweek break at Melsmere. What a fabulous property! We loved everything from the cottage layout and everything provided is really well thought out. Everything was spotlessly clean, I found the bed very comfortable. We spent alot of time in the gorgoeus garden next to the lake, it is the perfect place to relax. We found the rail crossing very straightforward and not an issue at all. Greg and lucy were brilliant at communcating and very helpful and accommodating, lovely hosts. There are local shops within walking distance and a 10 minute walk to the train station got us to liverpool in twenty minutes. Thank you both!

Amazing place with awesome hosts. Mark and Deborah. They were great with communication, always responsive and helpful with local recommendations. My family and I had an amazing time at Maple leaf cottage. The house was immaculately clean and well decorated. Great access to swimming pool my kids enjoyed every minute of it. Will definitely visit Maple leaf cottage again.

We had a lovely week away at Mark and Ruth’s cottage. The private access to the lake was perfect for our beginner paddle boarding skills, as well as relaxing. A great location to explore the wider Lake District too. Our son loved the magical fairy visits!

We had a fantastic time at the Wren, beautiful views, my cockerpoo Marley thought he was in heaven, having breakfast on the patio with views over the lake was bliss, lovely walks, would definitely go back next year👍👍👍

Andrew's place was perfect for a relaxing weekend catching up with a great friend. Everything in the property is clean and well chosen. A gorgeous place and we can recommend pizza Friday at the Bohemian Bus round the corner.

We had such a lovely stay at Clare’s Cottage. The location was perfect for the pubs and restaurants in Ambleside and for beautiful walks nearby. We didn’t move the car all weekend. The cottage was beautifully presented and had everything we needed. Thank you for a fabulous weekend. We would definitely return.
