Maria and Joao were the nicest, most thoughtful hosts I have ever met. They went above and beyond to help me cope while my mother was in the local hospital. Their kindness and generosity of time and actions was humbling. Maria stunned me with a basket of breakfast items on the first day as soon as she heard about my situation. She checked every day to make sure I was okay and that I had everything I needed (without ever being intrusive). She put her heart into everything she did for and with me.Joao was incredibly warm and friendly. I will never forget this loving couple. I shall return to their place again and again to enjoy the gorgeous lodgings that felt like home from home. Despite some sadness, I have unforgettable memories of the Azores because of them.

The owner waited for us and show where is the apartment which was very nice. The apartment was big, clean, quiet, located in a peaceful neighborhood where you can find a lot of free parking spots (Host also offered a private one, but there was no need to use it). You can find everything you need in the apartment to stay there even for a month - a huge plus for a lunch boxes! There was a wide duvet, that was very comfortable. We had also a private bathroom and a balcony with the view of Fogo. We are very happy with this apartment and recommend it for a short and also longer stay.

Paul sent a text to welcome me as soon as my plane landed. He met me right in front where my taxi driver dropped me from the airport. He walked me up to demonstrate the key fob and elevator, then walked me through the apartment. Natersia had left fresh supplies - oranges, milk, juice, butter, bread, coffee, cookies and a Douro Wine, all were appreciated and enjoyed. During my stay I called Natersia because I couldn't get the TV to work. She came right over and replaced the batteries in the remote. She also sent me a list of favorite restaurants in the immediate area for me. I really enjoyed my stay. The view of the harbor is beautiful, and the most fun thing I discovered is being able to see the runway at the airport so clearly - seeing the planes land and takeoff. We had an amazing time at Álvaro’s place visiting São Miguel. Ribeira Grande is a gem, central location and a very nice and beautiful town on its own. Álvaro’s apartment was comfortable, very clean and had the island-vacation-atmosphere in it. The host left us a basket with the island produce which we really appreciated. They are very attentive and made sure we that everything is going well. We highly recommend couples to book the apartment for their São Miguel vacation.

Le logement est propre et paisible, facile d'accès et il y a un parking. Tout ce dont vous avez besoin s'y trouve, c'est confortable . Paul et Natérsia sont des hôtes d'une très grande gentillesse, nous avons été très bien accueilli. Ils nous ont même proposé du fromage de leur ferme qui est délicieux ! Paul nous a fait visiter sa ferme, ses explications étaient très intéressantes et nous avons pu caresser des petits veaux ! Merci encore pour votre hospitalité et votre temps ! Au plaisir de revenir 😊

A Teresa e o Jorge foram muito prestáveis, sempre prontos a dar recomendações e a perguntar se estava tudo bem. Graças a eles, conseguimos ir a restaurantes muito bons que nos recomendaram. A casa era excecional e a localização maravilhosa. Recomendamos a quem possa e queira visitar a ilha de São Miguel, ficar nesta casa.

Epicenter was the perfect central location to explore Sao Miguel during the day, and enjoy the privacy of home at night. The neighbors are a little noisy so bring ear plugs but the amenities here made it well worth it!

5 stelle perché di più non si può mettere, i nostri giorni nell'appartamento 2 della SLOPE HOUSE sono stati bellissimi, l'appartamento ha una grande finestra e terrazza sull'oceano, la casa è ben arredata e ha tutti i confort. Anche la camera si affaccia su una via tranquilla di Lagoa ed è molto carina. Abbiamo trovato sempre parcheggio gratuito sotto casa e la posizione è comoda per visitare tutta l'isola. L'host José è gentilissimo, ci ha dato tantissimi consigli per il nostro viaggio, è stato sempre disponibile rispondere e accontentare ogni nostra necessità. Assolutamente consigliato, se dovessimo tornare a sao miguel non abbiamo dubbi su dove dormire. :)

Manuela was there to greet us and show us around. She answered our questions and had local restaurant recommendations. ( Cais 20 was my favorites and within walking distance ) There also is another restaurant nearby Jardim do Mar, with a small play area for kids. The house was exactly as depicted and clean. The view of the water is amazing. This location is close to downtown and night life. Overall a very enjoyable experience.

I've stayed in hundreds of airbnbs and this was definitely one of the best. Even though it was just two of us, there was plenty of room for much larger groups. The apartment is centrally located and less than a 10 minute walk to the town and the beach. We had no issues finding parking in front of the apartment. The wifi worked great (~136Mbps) for two digital nomads that needed to have reliable internet. Guido was very accommodating and helpful. The kitchen was well stocked. I will definitely stay here again next time I'm in Ponta Delgada

Lagoa is not part of the hustle and bustle of the city. We came during off season so I’m sure it’s much more lively on season. The home was gorgeous and had amazing views. The people were super friendly. When we wanted to get to Ponta Delgada we walked up a couple of blocks to the taxi stand and it was less than a 10 minute ride. (About 12 euros cost.) The beds were very comfortable and the outdoor space and open sliding doors made it feel even more tranquil in the mornings when enjoying our coffee.

Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit in Deinem Apartment, Helena. Die Kommunikation war stets unkompliziert und perfekt; Helena hat uns sehr freundlich begrüßt und alles erklärt. Die Unterkunft entsprach den Fotos. Alles war sehr sauber und die Lage der Wohnung ist toll: in wenigen Schritten ist man direkt am Meer - unmittelbar am Meerwasser-Schwimmbad. Wenige Meter entfernt befindet sich der tolle schwarze Sandstrand, wo man toll den Surfern zusehen kann. Vom unteren Balkon kann man das Meer ein Stück sehen, vom oberen Balkon aus hat man einen noch schöneren Meerblick. An der Promenade kann man kilometerweit entlangwandern. In der Unterkunft gibt es alles, was man braucht. Die Küche war gut ausgestattet und die Betten bequem. Die Unterkunft eignet sich hervorragend, um sich zu entspannen. Es war in der Nebensaison sehr ruhig und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Vielen Dank für alles, Helena!!

This place was great! It sits directly across from the ocean and the waking/bike path. We walked, even at night, and felt safe. We rented a car. Parking was tight but we were able to park next to the apartment. We would definitely stay again!

The house was in a fantastic location. We were two families of four and found it very accommodating. the location in the island was fantastic. Getting to the place was slightly tricky, but our Skida Fabria rental had no trouble as long as we folded the mirrors. The hostess was very accommodating and pleasant. It was as-advertised in every way. Thank you for a great stay!

Casa completa, amplia y limpia. Camas cómodas, y el exterior muy agradable. Está céntrica pero es muy tranquila. El coche lo puedes dejar a la puerta y puedes ir andando a comprar,. Nos encantó el detalle a nuestra llegada.

We loved staying at Antonio's place. The quaint grape vine covered area was awesome. The kitchen was very well equipped. Perfect accomodations. Going to sleep and waking up every morning to the sound of the ocean was AMAZING. We were disappointed that a couple of the towns best restaurants were closed for the season however there were places to eat and to buy groceries. It was great to have the fresh bread and produce vans come by in the mornings. We really enjoyed our time in Ribeira Quente. Thanks Antonio, can't wait to visit again!

We had a wonderful stay at Sara’s place. Communication was good, check in was a breeze. Sara was very accommodating. The pictures are accurate, there are plenty of restaurants nearby. The bed was comfortable, it was a very inviting place, the apartment is toward the back of the building which made it very quiet ( which we really loved), it felt like home. I would stay here again!

Vi är nöjda med Marianas lägenhet! Mycket tack vare balkongen lyfter lägenheten, den är helt fantastisk! Stor och med fantastisk utsikt! Mysigt också att strand och vattenfall är på gångavstånd. Det kan vara bra för er att veta är att det endast finns ett sovrum (med dubbelsäng) så om ni är fler personer så sover några i en del av vardagsrummet, avskilt med draperi. Mariana har varit tillmötesgående och vänlig i all kontakt. Positivt har också varit hennes tips på vad att se och göra på San Miguel.

Très beau logement bien situé pour ceux qui aiment les endroits tranquilles et typiques. Pour nous, c’était parfait. Si vous aimez le café au lait, je vous recommande le Café central à deux minutes de marches du logement, juste aux abords du parc central.

Maria, was a fantastic host - I think the best we may have ever had! She allowed us to check in early after flying overnight from Toronto and she also let us check out late. She was very friendly, responsive and accommodating. Maria's place was colorful, welcoming, cozy and centrally located on the island. She provided us with fresh breads, cheese, wine, jams, coffee, tea and a delicious pineapple! We had a wonderful time and we hope to come back and visit beautiful São Miguel again. ❤️☀️🌴🍍🐄

Great apartment in an excellent location. Close to beach, supermarket, bar, cafe and on the bus line. Very quiet area. Our hosts were very gracious and friendly. Their hospitality and generosity exceeded our expectations to ensure that we were comfortable and that our stay on the island was enjoyable. Would most definitely recommend this apartment

Tivemos uma boa experiência. A casa era espaçosa, limpa e organizada. Os colchões de molas estavam um pouco danificados. Os vizinhos faziam um pouco de barulho com a música e cão, mas conseguimos dormir. Fica bem localizada e perto de uma praia muito bonita.

We had the most wonderful week staying at Jordan's beautiful spot. The location could not be more perfect for access to everything. grocery store downstairs, small bar beside it, a coffee shop beside that, etc. The view to the water and to the hillside was spectacular, especially when the clouds cleared and the sun came out, which improver the visibility. Parking was a breeze thanks to the below ground parking spot, and the elevator made it very accessible. The rooms were spacious and clean. Beds were awesome and the various pillow thicknesses were a nice treat. Would love to come back sometime in the future. Thank you for everything!
