Zoe and Eric were excellent hosts, and their place exceeded our expectations. Their cozy cabin was spotless and their attention to detail to ensure it felt like home did not go unnoticed. Close to town, yet very private and peaceful - we very much enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay again the next time we're back in the area.

We loved our stay and wish we had stayed longer! It was perfect for our short family trip for spring break. Literally the only thing I would improve on is the beginning of the driveway. It just has a lot of ruts in the road that need to be filled in. You have to go very slow with your car, but once you get past it, it's paved and very nice! Beautiful views too!!!

Good place to live and provides all the necessary essentials

What a gem of a place - we had the most wonderful week! The home was just as described with all the amenities we needed for 6 of us. The beds were incredibly comfortable. The kids enjoyed fishing off the dock and kayaking every day. We enjoyed the spacious kitchen and living room and actually decided to stay in and cook meals vs. going out to eat because we didn’t want to leave the property. Easy 10 min drive to restaurants and local grocery stores if needed. Laura was an incredible host! She communicated with us appropriately before, during and post trip to make sure we were enjoying our stay and answering any questions. Prior to arrival, we received a beautiful PDF of check in instructions, local recommendations and contact info. I’ve not seen this special touch by any previous Airbnb host - there is no doubt Laura takes pride in ensuring her guests feel like this is “home away from home.” Highly recommend!

We truly enjoyed our stay! The home was beautiful and perfect for our family. We loved the hot tub and various seating areas inside and outside. I could have spent the entire time on the two spacious and well-appointed porches. The view was wonderful and the area was very peaceful. Emeline was an amazing host. She was very communicative and helpful. We highly recommend this home and host!

We loved the house. We were amazed at how the pictures on Airbnb looked just like it in person. There was plenty of room for our party of 8. It was dog friendly that was a plus. It wasn’t far from town, nor from the other cities we went to visit. We lived the hot tub. The view of the mountains was great. Jennifer messaged before we arrived to let us know about the storm and where flashlights weee. We did lose power twice and she was still in communication with us to let us know that it is being worked on. We ended up getting a flat tire before leaving and she was very cooperative and understanding that we couldn’t leave at the check out time until roadside assistance came to the house to fix the tire. All in all our 3 night stay was worth great. The view is amazing and we will definitely be booking again

The cabin is breathtaking and peaceful. They offer shampoo and soap, which is rare to find! It's a small detail that counts a lot! The couches and beds are very comfortable, perfect if you're planning on resting a lot. The kitchen is well equipped and squeaky clean. The cons: After booking, we received a lot more rules than shown in the listing, and some of them felt annoying at times. I'd never been asked before to take a full shower before getting into the hot tub. I have been asked to rinse (understandable), but taking a full shower with soap and removing every lotion, cream, make up thoroughly from the body before entering was a bit annoying. The floor was not super clean. The carpet in the living room had a lot of pet (or maybe short, human) hair. If you like to be barefoot, I'd recommended to bring sandals. Asking to wash towels if possible felt like too much, same as leaving an envelope to tip the housekeeper, since we're already paying a cleaning fee with the booking.

Van and Pam were quick to respond to our questions and very helpful w all aspects of our stay. The cabin was in great shape and we loved, loved our stay there. Our little family reunion brought together brothers, sisters and their kids and grandchildren from Florida, Texas and California. What a special time it was for us and in a cozy, comfortable cabin. And the Blue Ridge Mountains did not disappoint. We soaked in the hot tub every morning as the sun was coming up over the mountain tops and from the balcony we were dazzled with a beautiful year ending sunset on New Years Eve. The Blackstone grill entertained several of us that love to cook and bbq. It was so very handy that we ended up preparing most of our meals during our stay using the Blackstone grill. The remote controlled fireplaces warmed up the cabin to the delight of our wives as temps dropped outside during our stay. Winds were too high for us to enjoy the outdoor fire pit. No doubt we’ll use it on our next stay.
