Michelle was a great host! The house was beautiful and there was plenty to do on property. Michelle was kind and had a great response time. The rules and instructions were a but daunting for the house but we all had a great time.

The place was very clean and nice, right on the river; the canoe and kayaks were super fun. Very close to the Dells. Definitely worth the trip, would recommend. Instructions on check-in and check-out were clear and there was plenty of room and things to do inside and outside the house, Mary even let us check in a little bit early. 10/10

We enjoyed our stay at Ardene's place! The house is very spacious with enough bedrooms and other areas that are a nice touch (deck, sun room). The house provided more than enough dishes and kitchen items to be used. It was also nice for the host to have games. FYI there are 2 steps to get into the main living area. We would recommend this place!

The Lookout Retreat is so beautiful and named appropriately, as the view is amazing! The space is well maintained and very comfortable. The kitchen has a nice supply of cookware, the beds are comfy, and it has a huge wrap-around deck, so it provided a great place for our family to gather. Large windows provide lots of natural light. I could spend all day in the porch! Alissa responded quickly whenever I had a question, and gave good heads up info regarding finding this private setting. We hope to stay there again as it really met our needs nicely.

Cute and cozy farmhouse, well-equipped, and a perfect way to relax for a weekend. We enjoyed going for walks in the local state parks, winter activities at Tyrol Basin,and exploring Mt Horeb. Would definitely stay here again!

My husband and I planned a very impromptu trip to the driftless area with the hopes of including our adult son during our stay. Everything went amazingly smooth. Brian goes well above and beyond when it comes to hospitality. We did not lack for anything during our stay and in fact were surprised with many extras. Outdoor opportunities abound and each small town exhibits its own unique personality. Although the House on the Rock was a mind-blowing, portal traveling experience and worth every cent, Brian's house on the ridge was just as mind-blowing. The amenities, along with the beauty and peace provided the perfect setting to visit, reconnect over Scrabble (brought from home), and just hang out! Highly, highly recommend Brian's house on the ridge!

Our family had a great stay. Frank was very responsive and came over to help us get the hot tub going. House had everything we needed and beds were very comfy!

Clean, cozy, comfortable, quiet. I had a wonderful stay at Lynn’s place. Bed was super comfy, shower was hot, and the vibe was chill. I had to do some remote work one day, and the internet worked just fine.

Sweet place! Like someone else, we're vegetarian so it was nice to have the kitchen. It was very quiet except the mattress was squeaky. Went on a great historical tour of La Farge with local historian Brad.

What a gem of a place! If you need accommodations in or near Spring Green, look no farther. The hosts are great, communication was easy and informative, the space is well appointed, clean, cozy, comfortable and even better than advertised. A coffee and cereal bar was a great touch but we opted for the breakfast (offered by hosts as part of their B&B booking and were not disappointed! It was delicious, they accommodated for food allergies/sensitivities and we left stuffed. I would highly recommend.

We really enjoyed our stay at the flat. It was very comfortable and cozy and we appreciated all of the history of the building, the beautiful decor, the gas fireplace, the holiday decorations, views of the surrounding farms and the many Amish horse and buggies that passed by every day. We did a lot of hiking around the Driftless and visited some of the Amish farms, purchasing their handicrafts. Coming from Chicago it was a very peaceful getaway and a great way to celebrate the holiday season and new year.
