I've stayed in two cottages on Lianes property. Both were absolutely gorgeous. Rustic but with very modern amenities! The comfiest beds and beat sleep you can get on the East Coast. Each cottage has a different aesthetic, my husband is a carpenter and could not stop raving about how cottage loon smelled like pine because it was made from logs. We saw an eagle flying overhead while having a fire on the lake shore! The hot tub is amazing and booking your time slot is incredibly easy. Liane is incredibly responsive, accommodating and friendly! If you want to book the sauna, make sure you let Liane know well in advance and book a time! It has to be heated up in advance and we were hoping to use it just prior to check out so it's the only thing we didn't get to try! It is an amazing, private, quiet little spot. A real score for the price! I've seen cottages in less desirable, more populated campgrounds in more touristy locations for 2-3x the price! We love staying at St. Esprit!

This was my first experience with an air BnB, and it will not be my last! Especially with Liane. Aside from her being extremely kind, clear and direct- she was very prompt with replying. The cottage was absolutely beautiful. The attentiveness to detail was extremely apparent. The directions also for finding our way around outside to hot tub etc were very clear around the property. I cannot say enough good things about this place! We are planning a trip back already and we haven’t unpacked. For my daughter’s 7th birthday, Liane went above and beyond with accommodating us to make it a special memory. The bed is extremely comfortable, also. I cannot wait to recommend this to my coworkers and friends more than I have already! If I could give ten stars I would!!!! Thank you so much!!! Great hospitality. We had a great stay. Very clean and loved the hot tub, lake, beach, kayaks and our room was very comfortable and clean. Great complimentary coffee & treat in room!

Hubble & I just spent 4 days at Laura's Landing. We were on Isle Madame to visit old friends & do some sightseeing. The house is great - very clean, well-provisioned, & in a terrific location - just a 5-minute walk from Pondville Beach. The few near neighbours seemed friendly & quiet, and there was almost no traffic since the house is essentially at the end of a road. The master bedroom was especially comfortable - with soft sheets, warm bedding, & a perfectly firm mattress. The other beds seemed comfy as well. The dining room was spacious & inviting - a good place to gather with loved ones over a meal! Water views from inside the house were limited unfortunately, but views from the yard & deck would be lovely in warmer weather. Guests may want to know that cell service can be a bit unreliable at times but the wifi works great. In summary, we enjoyed our time at Laura's Landing & would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing home base on Isle Madame! Thanks so much Daphne!

I had another wonderful stay at Joh and Sandy’s place. The home is perfectly set up for everything you will need and the location is absolutely beautiful. A short stroll down the path of trees and wildflowers takes you to the pristine Bra d’or Lake. It’s a private oasis with chairs and a hammock to enjoy the serenity and magic of the lake. Lots of wildlife to enjoy (two deer came for a few visits!). If you like peace and tranquility, this is the place. Thank you John and Sandy for a lovely time at your cottage. I’ll see you next year! :)

Very relaxing spot, excellent view sitting right in a little bay on the ocean so the water was always calm. If you have kayaks make sure you bring them it would be a perfect spot. We tried fishing from shore but I think you might need to get out in the cove a bit where it’s a little deeper. Very cute spot loved drinking coffee every morning on the deck looking at the view!

Super location direct on the water! House is well equipped to make stay comfortable and enjoyable. Communication with Robert was excellent.

The house on the lake was just what we needed to enjoy a cousin get-away! The house has plenty of indoor space to socialize and relax. The outdoor space was stunning ~ loons, heron, and otters entertained us in the lake. There are extra bedrooms and bathroom in the converted garage. It is very peaceful and the scenery is beautiful.

This is THE place to stay if you need to unplug (although there is wifi and TV) and relax. The historic home is full of charm and the views are incredible, especially with a cup of coffee in the morning and a glass of wine at night. The views are amazing both from the deck and inside the house. One word description: tranquil.

Lori is an amazing host! very well to communicate with always responds within 10 minutes and always provides the best Services and always there to help you if you need anything. I’ve stayed there numerous amount of times and continue to keep coming back one of the best Airbnb‘s on the platform.
