The place was just like in the pictures—very quiet and peaceful. Directions were clear and access was super easy. We especially enjoyed the kayaking—it was very good! We weren’t lucky enough to catch anything this time, but we still had a great time out on the water. The owner was also super accommodating and let us check out late without asking for any extra money, which was really kind and appreciated. Overall, it’s a nice and cozy spot, perfect for a relaxing getaway.

We had a wonderful time staying at this house. Quiet, private, and peaceful, it had everything needed to relax and rest easy in the evenings and at night after being out all day. Excellent and proactive communication from the host. I never had to ask a single question and didn't have any difficulties. The house was immaculate, amenity-laden, very well stocked with everything that we needed for meals, and had VERY reasonable check-out instructions. No 10-page laundry list of items we needed to take care before checking out, just some basic common-courtesy tasks and we were good to go. Would definitely consider booking again!

We had a wonderful long weekend here! The house is well-equipped and David was even able to secure fishing and crabbing gear so our two kids could try to catch dinner. It is a quiet street of cottages with friendly neighbors in a gorgeous location - the view is so calming. We enjoyed exploring the local area (love the coffee shop and brewery in Montross), kayaking, swimming, and relaxing on the big screened porch. A feature here that you don’t always have at the shore is a great sandy beach! Can’t wait to come back for another getaway.

Of all the Airbnbs we have ever stayed, Kelly and Thomas’s listing was unmatched. It was definitely hard to leave because we were enjoying ourselves so much and it checked all the boxes. The house is pristine, modern, bright and has everything that one could hope for. Highlights were the huge functional kitchen, the main bedroom double shower and the comfortable bed. The grounds are breathtaking and being by the water was very peaceful. Even though the weather was on the cooler side, we were able to fully enjoy the outdoors by taking long, peaceful walks with our dogs (who loved it as much, if not more than we did), sitting by the fire pit, making s’mores and hanging out on the pier in the mornings. The puppies were able to enjoy the private beach. We left with our hearts full and tired, happy dogs, hoping we will able to return someday. We are very grateful for the experience!

The home was lovely and well-appointed with everything you could need to enjoy a relaxing stay. The kitchen was well stocked; the outdoor spaces were well designed Raisa was friendly and very responsive.

This was a beautiful place with great river views and plenty of space for a large group. We appreciated the amount of bedrooms and bathrooms, making it a comfortable stay for a large group of couples. Host was very responsive and willing to help.

I had a lovely time during my stay. The home was neat, clean and located in the heart of town. Dayna was proactive and responsive. And I look forward to my next visit. Thank you again.

This is a wonderful place to stay! Our entire purpose of this weekend getaway was to relax and enjoy the surroundings and we came to the perfect place- Being on the water is so peaceful and relaxing. We also enjoyed the hot tub and watching the sunrise. The dock was nice for relaxing and some fishing. The home is decorated nicely with everything you need. Thank you Brittany ! This home is a great place to stay! It is completely furnished with everything you need. The kitchen is completely stocked with any seasonings or coffee accessories you need. The home is wonderfully functional for larger families and kids, --lots of nooks and spaces to hang out and enjoy your vacation. My boys and I chose this rental for the kayaking, and we were not disappointed. The equipment was ready to go, and the home has it's own private slip into a beautiful calm river. This is a great home for families and friends to relax, get some time on the water, and spend time with each other. Great value.
