Lovely, very clean little home, an ideal base to explore surrounding areas. Skinning grove beach is fab and good for fossil hunting, the Ship Inn is great for food, its only a 7 minute drive away. Both dog friendly. Thank you for the biscuits, tea and milk.

We had a lovely stay at Carr Cottage. It was clean, comfortable, warm and well equipped with all we needed for our two night weekend break. We had already decided what we planned to do before we arrived but there is so much to do in the area that we shall have to return!Thank you to Ingrid and Rik for sharing your beautiful cottage!

As always cottage, was beautifully clean and prepared for us and our dog. As we ate in this time were impressed that all the utensils needed were there, hosts were as attentive and welcoming as always. Highly recommend the cottage and will definitely be returning.

Great base to explore Durham! large rooms and well-equipped. Traffic a little noisy but we knew what to expect before booking. Would definitely book again ☺️

This place was great to stay in. Yes the stairs are sketchy, but the rooms upstairs are amazing- especially the bathroom. Wasnt hard to find at all, I walked straight made a left and continued straight when coming back from town. It's pet friendly and my dog loved it, but if your dog loves getting on the future this might not be the place for you. Overall great place to stay and would recommend it

We had a wonderful stay! The accommodation was great and exactly what we needed, our host was incredibly helpful and responsive to any questions we had.

We loved our stay here. It was perfect and felt so homely and welcoming. We needed to be near Durham but its all about the doggos so needed somewhere with a decent garden and nearby walks which it so was. There are walks almost on the doorstep. Would definitely return.

Great place to stay and had all the creature comforts required when away from home. Great host and the communication was good.

We had a lovely stay at Francesca's home to celebrate my wife's 40th birthday. 6 adults and 3 children were easily accommodated, and the space allowed us to have a fun catch-up. Fran's printed information sheets were great, and allowed us to make the most of our time there. Friendly, responsive host. We hope to be back!

A beautiful, private estate. We thoroughly enjoyed our lodge. Amazing wildlife throughout and around the park. A great destination with plenty of walking routes nearby. I would highly recommend Ribblesdale park and will definitely be returning.

beautiful place, so comfy and clean. really enjoyed our stay here. we booked treatments at the center on site too which were great. We were not a fan of the restaurant on the grounds but lots of places nearby to go to eat. would go again.

Lovely stay, shepherds hut was well equipped and had all you needed and was nice and cosy inside… outdoor space was also great and we loved the hot tub and bbq facilities which were provided. Gillan was a great host and showed us around, but privacy was not invaded which we liked. Would definitely recommend a stay here

Lovely stay. Accommodation was clean and better than pictures. You are located directly outside the little pond with lots of ducks. We very much appreciated the duck food that was left for us to feed them. Sun rises right over the terrace area to enjoy the morning sun. Second bedroom is small but perfectly adequate as you are not in the room for more than sleeping and getting changed. Shower was hot with great pressure. Communication was speedy and friendly. Appreciated flexible check in / out time.

With 4 adults, 2 young children and 2 dogs, we wanted a mix of quiet relaxing, private space, fun (pool and extras), great walks and a brilliant local pub with food and we got them all. The perfect weekend break we all wanted, the only problem was persuading the grandchildren to leave the pool on the last day, and the tears from them when we had to leave but don't worry we did bring them home with us ❤️ David

We had a lovely weekend staying at Serendipity to visit the Christmas markets in York. The place has everything we needed and more and Rachael had kindly left the heating on for us so we were super cosy when we arrived in the evening too. Very comfortable bed with great pillows and a great power shower - the all important things! Also a lovely extra touch with some treats for us and the dogs, plus milk, tea and coffee. Our 8 year old loved the addition of the XBOX and extra toys to play with too! Thank you so much Rachael! Helen, Dave, Fin, Olive & Gus x

The lodge is stunning. right next to the lake and sparklingly clean. Stan was a great host. he made sure we knew how everything worked and that we were all set up, and when we were missing something he was on it within a few hours. very impressed. would highly recommend.

Morgan Cottage is an exquisite, beautifully appointed cottage in tranquil, picturesque surroundings. From the moment I booked, the communication and facilities were flawless. Attention to detail 10 out of 10….and I’m not the easiest to please. We soaked in the spotlessly clean hot tub under the stars and cooking in the well equipped kitchen and rested in the comfiest bed ever! Simon and Lynne also personalised our stay recognising our birthdays and the personal events that were the reason for our holiday. Thank you from each member of our family of 5 and 2 dogs….we made precious memories to last a lifetime. Erica and family 😀

Amazing airbnb, large ...spacious and very clean. Arrived too late to meet the hosts, but would not hesitate to recommend this establishment. A well deserved 5*.....

We thoroughly enjoyed our weekend here! Would definitely recommend and most certainly would visit again. Knipe the dog was a little beauty, and we loved her visits :) The accommodation was just as you see in the photographs, and the surrounding views are stunning.

What a place...in the middle of no where which is what we wanted...make sure you pack what you need for your stay as the nearest shop is approximately 4 miles away Seclusion Peace and quiet and aerial displays from ground nesting Lapwings

Such a lovely little place to stay when visiting York. Super clean, super cosy. Beautiful back garden. Quiet street and safe parking. We were close to town and in the day an Uber was £5. I saw a lot of busses go past so I think it’s well connected into the city Centre but I didn’t take the time to research. Either way it was quick and easy into the city centre with the option for down town. Definitely recommend.
