Luis’ place was more than we had hoped for! It exceeded our expectations in regards to the landscape, cabin space, and cleanliness. The sheets felt hotel-like and the kitchen was stocked with every dish, appliance, and product that we needed for our weekend stay. Luis was proactive in his communication, sharing all the details we needed for check-in and check-out. Fantastic place—would recommend to anyone!

What a hidden gem in the heart of Perth. This property gives the feel of being in a countryside estate, with astounding views from all rooms. Nestled in the trees, surrounded by the sounds of a flowing river, and as quiet as can be. 1 minute walk to the famous Stewart Park, boutiques, restaurants and amazing kids play area. The actual home is breath taking. The character of the old stone cottage has been maintained, while every corner of the home is thoughtfully decorated, cozy, creative, clean, charismatic, and inviting. 3 large bedrooms, comfortable beds, massive bathrooms, and the kitchen has everything for a chef! The living room is bright with stunning views of the river. Perfect home for anyone to enjoy in any season. The host is incredibly responsive and helpful. Would stay here forever!

We had a wonderful stay over Thanksgiving weekend at this beautiful, cozy, and private home. The rustic farmhouse feel made it the perfect place to relax. We especially loved having access to the many kayaks and canoes, which added to the overall experience. Julie was incredibly quick to respond to our messages and very accommodating when we ran into some minor issues. Overall, it was a fantastic stay, and we would definitely come back again!

The space was absolutely perfect. Beautiful kitchen, nice updated bathrooms and lots of space to sleep. Everything you need for a group. He was so quick at getting back to me, it was great! I would highly recommend this place to anyone!

We had a great time at Andrew’s cottage. The place is lovely and super clean. Andrew’s instructions to reach the cottage were very useful and clear. We spent all the daylight hours in the backyard by the river - what an amazing space - so many different options for just sitting around!! My whole family loved kayaking in the river (current is not strong) - kayaks, paddles and life jackets (even kids size) were provided. Our 5 year old loved the trampoline. Sunsets were spectacular. The cottage itself is super comfortable, very clean, comfortable beds and well equipped kitchen. The living area has a large picture window - perfect to sit by, sip a hot drink and watch the geese on the river when it is still cold to be outside. Overall great stay and would love to come back for a longer duration.

We had an amazing time at Pete’s. The location was perfect, we had our own private beach. The kids enjoyed the provided kayaks and water toys. Our dogs lived in the water for 7 days. The house is much bigger than it appears in photos, and has ample room for a large family or group.

The place was really nice for a weekend getaway with the dogs it was perfect for resting and the drive wasn't to far from places.

Girls weekend here was fantastic! Very comfortable and clean cottage. Beautiful views. Love the large deck, enclosed porch and big kitchen. Would definitely book again.

Nikki’s place is definitely a five star plus. The house is large, open concept, comfortable, and had everything we desired. The master bedroom has a queen bed and patio doors leading out to the deck. We loved the walk-in rain shower in the ensuite and the laundry room off the master bedroom. The kitchen’s island was perfect for our morning coffee and the formal dining room for our dinner. It was wonderful to sit on the leather couches and watch the sun rise. We enjoyed our walks around the property and to the conservation area.

We had the most memorable family get together at Genie's stay in Iroquois. The place exceeded our expectations. We were dazzled by the charm of the site and the warmth of this heritage house. Conveniences galore, fun for everyone, lots of space, comfortable accomodations, amazing views, great communication with the hosts. This one is at the top of our list for future gatherings! Thanks so much for setting the stage for our memories that will last for decades !

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour, le calme est saisissant, la vue sur le lac gelé Lola depuis le salon, cuisine, terrasse ou la chambre principale est incroyable. La maison est bien équipée et on se sent rapidement chez soi en quelques minutes vue la disposition, des équipements, et les meubles installés. La réactivité et la disponibilité du hôte Chris est salutaire .Petite cerise sur le gâteau nous avons eu droit à des feux d'artifice le 31 décembre au soir organisé par le petit centre communautaire de la région. Je recommande ce cottage pour vous reposer et surtout vous déconnecter de la vie stressante des grandes villes. On y retournera surement pour les activités d'été

Kelly’s place felt like Grandma’s Cottage, in all of the best ways possible. It felt like a home away from home. Everything is well thought out, with touches of vintage decor and boardgames. It felt like a blast from my childhood and was really special watching my son play with toys I would have played with as a young kid. My whole family felt comfortable and thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, bonfires and cute town of Wakefield. We would definitely recommend and would rent again! Gorgeous cottage! 15 min drive to Callabogie ski hill. Our 2 small families stayed a weekend at Barre Cabin and we enjoyed every minute of it. It couldn't have been more comfortable - the beds/linens/pillows/furniture, temperature, amenities, etc. The layout worked perfect for us and the bedrooms are set up so nicely. We had so much fun both indoors and out! They had a tobogganing hill that even the cold weather couldn't keep us from! Very family friendly - my 1 year old was blown away by a little kid nook with toys and books. The hosts are just the best; going out of their way with sweet honey touches, super accommodating and lovely to message. We will definitely be back in summer - the view is breathtaking.

This is a great cottage! The kitchen is big and beautiful and very well equipped, beds are very comfortable, great decks and docks giving many places to find a quiet spot. The water was lovely - no weeds. There are terrific overhead fans that eliminated the need for air conditioning. There were 10 of us - 6 adults and 4 kids and there was plenty of room for all. Rich was a fantastic host, answering questions before, checking in part way through, and helping to get our things to the island and back.

Was the 10-hour round trip worth it? Absolutely, without a doubt! Even though the weather wasn't ideal, it only added to the charm of this beautiful cabin—honestly, we felt like we were in a cozy winter wonderland. I can't think of a single negative moment from our stay. Even our cats would agree. Alison and James have truly created something special here, and their attention to detail made this one of the best Airbnb experiences we've ever had. Not to mention all the incredible visits we got from the local wildlife. Communication with Alison was seamless, which truly helped ease our nerves about visiting a new place while navigating through challenging weather conditions. We’re already looking forward to coming back and experiencing the treehouse in all its glory (hopefully without the freezing rain next time!). Thank you, Alison and James, for making our stay unforgettable!

We had the most peaceful winter getaway at the cabin! The cabin was the perfect place to get out of the city and enjoy the natural surroundings, the quiet, and the snow. We loved having a cozy fire in the woodstove or a hottub soak after a snowy hike or snowshoe at Gatineau Park. What a beautiful place. Thank you Kim and Scott!!

Nous avons adoré notre séjour au Domaine Labrador. Nous sommes une famille avec deux jeunes enfants et un petit chien. Le site nous a permis de décrocher de la routine, de se relaxer et de profiter d'un grand site très sécuritaire avec les enfants pour s'amuser dans la neige. Hélène nous a répondu rapidement à nos questions, nous a donnés des détails pertinents pour le séjour et a été très accueillante à notre arrivé. Le chalet était magnifique et très propre. Je recommende fortement cet endroit.

Don's quaint, rustic cottage in a very private setting was just what we were looking for. It's perfect for a couple. For late October, the colours were still glorious, and the space was cozy. Don was very kind, and he even left a card and some treats in the fridge for us in honour of our anniversary. If you're looking to disconnect and find some tranquility, this is the place!

I have experienced a few airbnbs to date and must say that I have yet to experience anything unpleasant. That's because of the incredible integrity of hostesses like Charlotte, overseeing places like this sweet gem: true to its advertisement, and very well laid out instructions which kept us from having to inquire about anything. We came to create and we came to celebrate our 3rd anniversary. My husband and I are calling this our "Oasis-Escapis" and plan to bring more monumental celebrations and creative endeavours here.
